2 Chronicles 2
1 Now Solomon purposed to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
Karon gitinguha ni Salomon ang pagtukod sa usa ka balay alang sa ngalan ni Jehova, ug usa ka balay alang sa iyang gingharian.
2 And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand men that were hewers in the mountains, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
Ug giihap ni Salomon ang kapitoan ka libo ka tawo aron sa pagdala sa mga mabug-at, ug kawaloan ka libo ka tawo nga mga magtitiltil sa bato sa mga kabukiran, ug totolo ka libo ug unom ka gatus aron sa pagbantay sa kanila.
3 And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, [even so deal with me].
Ug gipaadto ni Salomon ngadto kang Huram nga hari sa Tiro, nga nagaingon: Ingon nga ikaw nakigkauban kang David nga akong amahan, ug nagpadala kaniya sa mga cedro aron sa pagtukod alang kaniya sa usa ka balay nga puloy-anan, ingon niini magpakigkauban ka usab kanako.
4 Behold, I build an house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of the LORD our God. This is [an ordinance] for ever to Israel;
Ania karon, ako buot na magatukod ug usa ka balay alang sa ngalan ni Jehova nga akong Dios, aron kini ihalad kaniya, ug sa pagsunog sa atubangan niya sa incienso sa mga mahumot nga mga panakot, ug sa tinapay nga igabutang sa atubangan sa Dios sa kanunay, ug tungod sa mga halad-nga-sinunog buntag ug hapon, sa mga adlaw nga igpapahulay, ug sa mga bag-ong bulan, ug sa mga tinudlong fiesta ni Jehova nga among Dios. Kini maoy usa ka tulomanon nga walay katapusan sa Israel.
5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
Ug ang balay nga akong pagatukoron daku; kay daku ang atong Dios labaw sa tanang mga dios.
6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn incense before him?
Apan kinsa ang makahimo sa pagtukod alang kaniya sa usa ka balay sa ginatan-aw nga siya dili man ngani mahaarang sa langit ug sa langit sa kalangitan? Busa kinsa man ako, nga ako magatukod alang kaniya sa usa ka balay, gawas lamang sa pagsunog sa incienso sa iyang atubangan?
7 Now therefore send me a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave [all manner of] gravings, [to be] with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.
Busa karon padad-i ako ug usa ka tawo nga batid sa pagbuhat pinaagi sa bulawan, ug sa salapi, ug sa tumbaga, ug sa puthaw, ug sa purpura, ug sa mapula, ug sa azul, ug nga mahibalo sa paglilok sa tanang paagi sa mga lilokon, sa pakigkauban sa mga batid nga tawo nga uban kanako sa Juda ug sa Jerusalem, nga giandam ni David nga akong amahan.
8 Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
Padad-i usab ako ug mga kahoy nga cedro, mga kahoy nga haya, ug mga kahoy nga fino gikan sa Libano: kay ako nahibalo nga ang imong mga sulogoon mahibalo kong unsaon pagputol sa kahoy sa Libano. Ug, ania karon, ang akong mga sulogoon igakauban sa imong mga sulogoon,
9 even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.
Bisan sa pag-andam alang kanako ug daghang kahoy; kay ang balay nga buot ko nga pagatukoron daku ug katingalahan.
10 And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
Ug, ania karon, ihatag ko sa imong mga sulogoon, ang mga magpuputol nga magputol sa kahoy, kaluhaan ka libo ka takus nga pinikpik nga trigo, ug kaluhaan ka libo ka gatus nga cebada, ug kaluhaan ka libo ka bato sa vino, ug kaluhaan ka libo ka bato sa lana.
11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD loveth his people, he hath made thee king over them.
Unya si Huram nga hari sa Tiro mibalus pagsulat, nga iyang gipadala ngadto kang Salomon: Tungod kay si Jehova nahagugma sa iyang katawohan, siya nagahimo kanimong hari sa ibabaw kanila.
12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with discretion and understanding, that should build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
Labut pa, si Huram miingon: Dalayegon si Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, nga nagbuhat sa langit ug yuta, nga mihatag kang David nga hari sa usa ka maalam nga anak nga lalake, hinatagan sa pagkabuotan ug pagsabut, nga magatukod sa usa ka balay alang kang Jehova, ug usa ka balay alang sa iyang gingharian.
13 And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,
Ug karon ako nagpadala ug usa ka batid nga tawo, nga tinugahan sa pagkamasinabuton, gikan kang Huram nga akong amahan,
14 the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to devise any device: that there may be [a place] appointed unto him with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
Ang anak nga lalake sa usa ka babaye sa mga anak nga babaye ni Dan; ug ang iyang amahan maoy usa ka tawo sa Tiro, batid sa bulohaton pinaagi sa bulawan, ug sa salapi, sa tumbaga, sa puthaw, sa bato, ug sa kahoy, sa purpura, sa azul, ug sa fino nga lino, ug sa mapula, sa paglilok usab sa nagkalainlain nga lilokon, ug sa pagmugna sa bisan unsang mugna; nga may usa unta ka dapit nga itudlo kaniya kauban sa imong mga batid nga tawo, ug sa mga tawo nga batid sa akong ginoong David nga imong amahan.
15 Now therefore the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:
Busa karon ang trigo ug ang cebada, ang lana, ug ang vino, nga gihisgutan sa akong ginoo ipadala niya ngadto sa iyang mga sulogoon:
16 and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.
Ug kami mamutol ug kahoy gikan sa Libano, sumala sa imong gikinahanglan; ug among dad-on kini dinha kanimo pinaagi sa gakit sa dagat ngadto sa Joppe; ug dad-on mo kini hangtud sa Jerusalem.
17 And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
Ug giisip ni Salomon ang tanan nga dumuloong nga dinha sa yuta sa Israel, sumala sa pag-ihap kanila ni David nga iyang amahan; ug nakita nga sila may usa ka gatus kalim-an ug tolo ka libo unom ka gatus.
18 And he set threescore, and ten thousand of them to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand that were hewers in the mountains, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people awork.
Ug iyang gilain ang kapitoan ka libo kanila nga magdadala sa mabug-at, ug kawaloan ka libo nga mga magpuputol sa kahoy sa mga kabukiran, ug totolo ka libo ug unom ka gatus ang mga magbalantay sa katawohan nga nagbuhat.
