< 1 Corinthians 5 >
1 It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one [of you] hath his father’s wife.
Nami ksunga hüipawmnak kyühkse akcanga veki tia ngthang hüki; acun hin khyang kcee üng pi am ve. Ami paa khyu kdik ihpüikie ti cun na mthehkie.
2 And ye are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he that had done this deed might be taken away from among you.
Ihawkba nami awhcah khai ni. Acukba veki cun thüiseinak vai ni. Nami vei üngkhyüh pi ksät vai sü.
3 For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him that hath so wrought this thing,
Ka pumsa am thuk lüpi Ngmüimkhya am nami hlawnga ka veki. Aksekhyua vekia khana Bawi Jesuh naw ngthumkhyah khaia kei naw pyen veng. Nangmi atänga nami nghmuh akba kei naw Ngmüimkhya am ka ning jah hmuh ngüse ni Bawi Jesuha johit naw atänga jah vepüiki.
4 in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
5 to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Khyang acuna mäih cun a Ngmüimkhya Bawipa khaw mhnüp üng küikyannak a yah vaia, a pumsa khyükleih khaia Khawyama veia ap ua.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Nami awhcah hin am daw ve. Nghngen apica naw bu angkhä thawh saki ti am nami ksingki aw?
7 Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, [even] Christ:
Mkhyenaka nghngen kphyüm cän loin ua, acukba ani üngva avana nami caih khai. Tuhta nghngen am ngcawki buh tawh üng nami täng khai. Nangmi cun akcanga nami ngcimki he ni. Mi lätnak pawi pi ngsäm hnüh ve, mi lätnak pawhnak vai Khritaw pi hnim päng ve u.
8 wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Acunakyase, mkhyekatnaka nghngnen akphyüm am kcawa muk am ni lü, nghngnen käh kcawa muk ngcimcaihnak ja ngthungtak am lätnak mi pawh vai u.
9 I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators;
Ka cayuk üng hüipawmkie käh nami jah ngpawngpüi vaia ka ning ja mthehki.
10 not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world:
Ka tinak hlü ta hüipawmkie, mpyukei he, juktuh hjawkhahkie käh jah ngpawngpüi ka tinak am ni. Khawmdek üng käh nami sängei vaia jah hjawng kung ua.
11 but now I write unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.
Ka tinak hlü ta jumeikia ngsui lü hüipawmki, mpyuki, ngvawk pawhki, juktuh hjawkhahki, khyang hnimki, ju awki he cun atänga ngaw lü ei pi käh jah eipüi u.
12 For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within,
Akcee ngthu jah mkhya pet vai cun keia bilawh vai am ni. Pamhnam naw jah mkhyah pe khai. Acunsepi namäta püie cun nami jah mkhya pe khai am ni aw? Cangcim naw a pyena kba “Am dawkia khyang nami ksung üngkhyüh jah ksät ua.”
13 whereas them that are without God judgeth? Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.
