1 Chronicles 4
1 The sons of Judah; Perez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
১যিহূদার বংশের লোকেরা হল পেরস, হিষ্রোণ, কর্মী, হূর ও শোবল।
2 And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.
২শোবলের ছেলে রায়া, রায়ার ছেলে যহৎ এবং যহতের ছেলে অহূময় ও লহদ। এরা ছিল সরাথীয় বংশের লোক।
3 And these were [the sons of] the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazzelelponi:
৩আর এই সব ঐটমের বাবার ছেলে যিষ্রিয়েল, যিশ্মা ও যিদ্বশ। তাদের বোনের নাম ছিল হৎসলিল পোনী।
4 and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Beth-lehem.
৪গাদোরের বাবা পনূয়েল ও হূশের বাবা এসর। এরা বৈৎলেহমের বাবা ইফ্রাথার বড় ছেলে হূরের বংশধর।
5 And Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
৫তকোয়ের বাবা অস্হূরের দুইজন স্ত্রী ছিল হিলা ও নারা।
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
৬নারার গর্ভে অহুষম, হেফর, তৈমিনি ও অহষ্টরির জন্ম হয়েছিল। এরা ছিল নারার ছেলে।
7 And the sons of Helah were Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.
৭হিলার ছেলেরা হল সেরৎ, যিৎসোহর ও ইৎনন।
8 And Hakkoz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
৮কোষের (হক্কোষ) ছেলেরা হল আনূব ও সোবেবা এবং হারুমের ছেলে অহর্হলের গোষ্ঠী সব।
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
৯যাবেষ তাঁর ভাইদের চেয়ে আরও সম্মানিত লোক ছিলেন। তাঁর মা যাবেশ নাম রেখে বলেছিলেন, “আমি খুব কষ্টে তাকে জন্ম দিয়েছি।”
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it be not to my sorrow! And God granted him that which he requested.
১০যাবেষ ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরকে ডেকে বলেছিলেন, “তুমি আমাকে আশীর্বাদ কর আর আমার রাজ্য বাড়িয়ে দাও। তোমার শক্তি আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে থাকুক এবং সমস্ত বিপদ থেকে তুমি আমাকে রক্ষা কর যাতে আমি কষ্ট না পাই।” আর ঈশ্বর তাঁর প্রার্থনা শুনলেন।
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuhah begat Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
১১শূহের ভাই কলূবের ছেলে মহীর, তিনি ইষ্টোনের বাবা
12 And Eshton begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These are the men of Recah.
১২আর ইষ্টোনের ছেলেরা হল বৈৎ-রাফা, পাসেহ এবং ঈরনাহসের বাবা তহিন্ন। এরা সবাই ছিল রেকার লোক।
13 And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.
১৩কনসের ছেলেরা হল অৎনীয়েল ও সরায় এবং অৎনীয়েলের ছেলে হথৎ।
14 And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab the father of Ge-harashim; for they were craftsmen.
১৪মিয়োনোথয়ের ছেলে হল অফ্রা আর সরায়ের ছেলে শিল্পকারদের উপত্যকা নিবাসীদের বাবা যোয়াব, কারণ তারা শিল্পকার ছিল।
15 And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah; and Kenaz.
১৫যিফুন্নির ছেলে কালেবের ছেলেরা হল ঈরূ, এলা ও নয়ম। এলার ছেলের নাম ছিল কনস।
16 And the sons of Jehallelel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
১৬যিহলিলেলের ছেলেরা হল সীফ, সীফা, তীরিয় ও অসারেল।
17 And the sons of Ezrah; Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
১৭ইষ্রার ছেলেরা হল যেথর, মেরদ, এফর ও যালোন। মেরদের মিশরীয় স্ত্রী মরিয়ম, শম্ময় এবং যিশবহকে জন্ম দিল, যে ইষ্টিমোয়ের বাবা ছিল।
18 And his wife the Jewess bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.
১৮আর তার যিহূদীয়া স্ত্রী গদরের বাবা যেরদকে, সোখোর বাবা হেবরকে ও সানোহের বাবা যিকুথীয়েলকে জন্ম দিল। ওরা ফরৌণের মেয়ে বিথিয়ার সন্তান, যাকে মেরদ বিয়ে করেছিল।
19 And the sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
১৯নহমের বোনকে হোদিয় বিয়ে করেছিল, তার ছেলেরা হল গর্মীয় কিয়ীলার বাবা ও মাখাথীয় ইষ্টিমোয়।
20 And the sons of Shimon; Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi; Zoheth, and Ben-zoheth.
২০শীমোনের ছেলেরা হল অম্মোন, রিন্ন, বিন্ হানন ও তীলোন। যিশীর ছেলেরা হল সোহেৎ ও বিন্ সোহেৎ।
21 The sons of Shelah the son of Judah; Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
২১যিহূদার ছেলে শেলার বংশের লেকার বাবা এর ও মারেশার বাবা লাদা, বৈৎ-অসবেয়ের যে লোকেরা মসীনার কাপড় বুনত তাদের সব বংশ,
22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had dominion in Moab, and Jashubi-lehem. And the records are ancient.
২২আর যোকীম ও কোষেবার লোক এবং যোয়াশ ও সারফ নামে মোয়াবের দুই শাসনকর্ত্তা ও যাশূবিলেহম এগুলো ছিল খুব পুরানো দিনের র তালিকা।
23 These were the potters, and the inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah: there they dwelt with the king for his work.
২৩এরা ছিল কুমোর এবং নতায়ীম ও গদেরাতে বাস করত; তারা রাজার কাজকর্ম করবার জন্যই তারা সেখানে থাকত।
24 The sons of Simeon; Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul:
২৪শিমিয়োনের ছেলেরা হল নমূয়েল, যামীন, যারীব, সেরহ ও শৌল।
25 Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
২৫শৌলের ছেলে হল শল্লুম, শল্লুমের ছেলে মিব্সম ও মিব্সমের ছেলে মিশ্ম।
26 And the sons of Mishma; Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son.
২৬মিশ্মের ছেলে হম্মুয়েল, তার ছেলে শক্কুর ও তার ছেলে শিময়ি।
27 And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah.
২৭শিময়ির ষোলজন ছেলে ও ছয়জন মেয়ে ছিল, কিন্তু তার ভাইদের বেশি ছেলেমেয়ে ছিল না। সেইজন্য তাদের সমস্ত গোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে যিহূদা গোষ্ঠীর মত এত লোক বৃদ্ধি পায়নি।
28 And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-shual;
২৮শিমিয়োন গোষ্ঠীর লোকেরা বের-শেবাতে,
29 and at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad;
২৯মোলাদাতে, হৎসর শূয়ালে, বিলহাতে, এৎসমে, তোলদে,
30 and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag;
৩০বথূয়েলে, হর্মাতে, সিক্লগে,
31 and at Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susim, and at Beth-biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.
৩১বৈৎ-মর্কাবোতে, হৎসর সূষীমে, বৈৎ-বিরীতে ও শারয়িমে বাস করত। দায়ূদের রাজত্ব পর্যন্ত এই সব শহর তাদের ছিল।
32 And their villages were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:
৩২তাদের অন্যান্য গ্রামগুলোর নাম ছিল ঐটম, ঐন, রিম্মোণ, তোখেন ও আশন। বাল পর্যন্ত এই পাঁচটা গ্রামের চারপাশের জায়গাগুলোও তাদের অধীনে ছিল।
33 and all their villages that were round about the same cities, unto Baal. These were their habitations, and they have their genealogy.
৩৩এগুলোতে তারা বাস করত এবং তাদের নিজস্ব বংশ তালিকা ছিল।
34 And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah;
৩৪মশোবব, যম্লেক, অমৎসিয়ের ছেলে যোশঃ, যোয়েল
35 and Joel, and Jehu the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel;
৩৫এবং যোশিবিয়ের অসায়েলের ছেলে সরায়ের ছেলে যোশিবিয়ের ছেলে যেহূ।
36 and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah;
৩৬আর ইলিয়ৈনয়, যাকোব, যিশোহায়, অসায়, অদীয়েল, যিশীমীয়েল, বনায়
37 and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;
৩৭এবং শময়িয়ের ছেলে শিম্রির ছেলে যিদয়িয়ের ছেলে অলোনের ছেলে শিফির ছেলে সীষ;
38 these mentioned by name were princes in their families: and their fathers’ houses increased greatly.
৩৮নিজের নিজের নামে উল্লিখিত এই লোকেরা নিজের নিজের গোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে নেতা ছিল এবং এদের সব বংশ খুব বেড়ে গেল।
39 And they went to the entering in of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
৩৯পশুপাল চরাবার জায়গার খোঁজে এই লোকেরা গদোরের বাইরে উপত্যকার পূর্ব দিকে চলে গেল।
40 And they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they that dwelt there aforetime were of Ham.
৪০তারা বহু ঘাসযুক্ত জায়গা পেল, আর সে দেশ বেশ বড়, শান্তিপূর্ণ ও নিরিবিলি ছিল। কারণ আগে হামের বংশের কিছু লোক সেখানে বাস করত।
41 And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the Meunim that were found there, and destroyed them utterly, unto this day, and dwelt in their stead: because there was pasture there for their flocks.
৪১শিমিয়োন গোষ্ঠীর এই সব নথিভুক্ত করা লোকেরা যিহূদার রাজা হিষ্কিয়ের দিনের সেখানে গিয়েছিল। তারা হামীয়দের বাসস্থানে গিয়ে তাদের আক্রমণ করল। এছাড়া তারা সেখানকার মিয়ূনীয়দেরও আক্রমণ করে সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধ্বংস করল। তারপর তারা ঐ লোকদের জায়গায় বাস করতে লাগল, কারণ তাদের পশুপালের জন্য সেখানে প্রচুর ঘাস ছিল।
42 And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir; having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
৪২শিমিয়োনীয়দের মধ্যে পাঁচশো লোক যিশীর ছেলে পলটিয়, নিয়রিয়, রফায়িয় ও উষীয়েলকে তাদের নেতা করে নিয়ে সেয়ীর নামে পাহাড়ে গেল।
43 And they smote the remnant of the Amalekites that escaped, and dwelt there, unto this day.
৪৩আগে অমালেকীয়দের কিছু লোক সেয়ীরে পালিয়ে এসে সেখানে বাস করছিল। শিমিয়োনীয়েরা সেই সব লোকদের মেরে ফেলে সেখানে বাস করতে লাগল। আজও তারা সেখানে বাস করছে।
