1 Chronicles 29
1 And David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God:
೧ತರುವಾಯ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು, “ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನೇ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಳೇ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನು. ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ಕೆಲಸವೋ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದದ್ದು. ಕಟ್ಟತಕ್ಕ ಮಂದಿರವು ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಾಗಿಯಲ್ಲ.
2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for the [things of] gold, and the silver for the [things of] silver, and the brass for the [things of] brass, the iron for the [things of] iron, and wood for the [things of] wood; onyx stones, and [stones] to be set, stones for inlaid work, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
೨ನಾನು ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಬಂಗಾರ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ತಾಮ್ರದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ತಾಮ್ರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಮರದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಮರ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಗೋಮೇಧಿಕ ರತ್ನ, ಕೆತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ರತ್ನ, ಕೆಂಪು ಹರಳು, ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ವರ್ಣದ ಕಲ್ಲು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರದ ಮಣಿ, ಚಂದ್ರಕಾಂತಶಿಲೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ರಾಶಿ ರಾಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 Moreover also, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, seeing that I have a treasure of mine own of gold and silver, I give it unto the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house;
೩ನಾನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮೇಲಣ ಅನುರಾಗದಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಿಂದ
4 even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:
೪ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ಓಫೀರ್ ದೇಶದ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಆಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಬೇಕು.
5 of gold for the [things of] gold, and of silver for the [things of] silver, and for all manner of work [to be made] by the hands of artificers. Who then offereth willingly to consecrate himself this day unto the LORD?
೫ಅಕ್ಕಸಾಲಿಗರು ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಉದಾರಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದೆಯೋ ಅವರು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ನೆರೆದ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
6 Then the princes of the fathers’ [houses], and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers over the king’s work, offered willingly;
೬ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ, ಸಹಸ್ರಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ, ಅರಸನ ಕೆಲಸದವರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ
7 and they gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and of iron a hundred thousand talents.
೭ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು, ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಪವನು ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ತಾಮ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ತಲಾಂತು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
8 And they with whom [precious] stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, under the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
೮ರತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಭಂಡಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
೯ಅವರು ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.
10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
೧೦ಅನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ನೆರೆದ ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಂಡಾಟವಾಗಲಿ.
11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಿಮೆ, ವೈಭವ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ, ಪ್ರಭಾವ, ಪ್ರತಾಪ, ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿನ್ನವೆ. ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನದೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿನ್ನದು. ನೀನು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವವನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನಾಗಿರುತ್ತೀ.
12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou rulest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
೧೨ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ನೀನು ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯು. ಬಲಪರಾಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೂ, ಶಕ್ತಿಗೂ ನೀನೇ ಮೂಲನು.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
೧೩ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವುಳ್ಳ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
೧೪ನಾವು ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲು ನಾನಾಗಲಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಥರಲ್ಲ. ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು, ನೀನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆವು.
15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding.
೧೫ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರದೇಶಿಗಳೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರಂತೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಆಯುಷ್ಕಾಲವು ನೆರಳಿನಂತಿದೆ. ನಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.
೧೬ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ನಮಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದವು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನವೇ.
17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness, As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
೧೭ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವವನೂ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥಚಿತ್ತರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನಾನಂತೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
18 O LORD, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people; and prepare their heart unto thee:
೧೮ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್, ಇಸಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥಾ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು. ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು.
19 and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
೧೯ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಷ್ಟನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತೇನೋ ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಅವನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು.
20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.
೨೦ತರುವಾಯ ದಾವೀದನು ನೆರೆದ ಸಭೆಯವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು.
21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel;
೨೧ಮರುದಿನ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಆ ದಿನದ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಾವಿರ ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಧಿಸಿದರು. ಇವುಗಳೊಡನೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
22 and did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.
೨೨ಜನರು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ರಾಜನನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಚಾದೋಕನನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದರು.
23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
೨೩ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಬದಲು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದನು. ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವವರಾದರು.
24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
೨೪ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ದಂಡಿನವರೂ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾದರು.
25 And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
೨೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಆಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರ ವೈಭವಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು.
26 Now David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
೨೬ಹೀಗೆ ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three [years] reigned he in Jerusalem.
೨೭ಅವನು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷವೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವತ್ತಮೂರು ವರ್ಷವೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
೨೮ಅವನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ, ಮಾನ, ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತುಂಬಾ ವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer;
೨೯ದಾವೀದನ ಪೂರ್ವೋತ್ತರಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಅವನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೂ, ಸುತ್ತಣ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಸುಖದುಃಖ ಇವುಗಳ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತ.
30 with all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
೩೦ದೇವದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಸಮುವೇಲ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನ, ದೇವದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಗಾದ ಇವರ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
