Revelation 5
1 Then I saw at the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a book, with writing inside and out, and sealed with seven seals;
І бачив я в правицї Сидячого на престолї книгу записану із середини і зверху, запечатану семи печатьми.
2 and I saw a mighty angel who was proclaiming in a loud voice – ‘Who is worthy to open the book and break its seals?’
І бачив я ангела сильного, покликуючого голосом великим: Хто достоєн розгорнути книгу, і розломити печаті її?
3 But no one either in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the book or look within it.
І нїхто не міг па небі, анї на землі, анї під землею, розгорнути книгу, анї заглянути до неї.
4 At this I wept long, because no one could be found who was worthy to open the book or look within it.
І я вельми плакав, що нїхто достойний не знайшов ся, щоб розгорнути і прочитати книгу, анї заглянути до неї.
5 But one of the elders said to me – ‘Do not weep. The Lion conquered – the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Scion of David – and can therefore open the book with its seven seals.’
І один із старцїв каже менї: Не плач; ось, побідив лев, що з роду Юдиного, корінь Давидів, щоб розгорнути книгу, і розломити сїм печатїй її.
6 Then, within the space between the throne and the four creatures, and in the midst of the elders, I saw, standing, a Lamb, which seemed to have been sacrificed. It had seven horns and seven eyes. (These eyes are the seven spirits of God, and they are sent into all the world.)
І поглянув я, і ось, по серединї між престолом і чотирма животними, і по серединї старцїв, стоїть Ягнятко, наче заколене, і мало сїм рогів, і сїм очей, а се сїм духів Божих, що послані по цілій землї.
7 The Lamb came forward; and he has taken the book from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.
І прийшов, і взяв книгу з правицї Сидячого на престолї.
8 And, when he had taken the book, the four creatures and the twenty-four elders prostrated themselves before the Lamb, each of them holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense. (These are the prayers of Christ’s people.)
І коли взяв книгу, то чотири животні і двайцять чотири старці впали перед Агнцем, маючи кожний кобзу і чашу золоту, повну пахощів, що були молитви сьвятих.
9 And they are singing a new song – ‘You are worthy to take the book and break its seals, for you were sacrificed, and with your blood you did buy for God people of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
І сьпівають пісню нову, глаголючи: Достоєн єси приняти книгу, і створити печаті її, бо Ти був заколений, і відкупив єси нас Богу кровю своєю, з усякого роду, і язика, і народу і поган,
10 and did make them a kingdom of priests in the service of our God, and they are reigning on the earth.’
і зробив єси нас Богу нашому царями і священиками; і царювати мем на землї.
11 Then, in my vision, I heard the voices of many angels around the throne, and of the creatures, and of the elders. In number they were ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands,
І я бачив і чув голос ангелів многих кругом престола і животних, і старців; і було число їх тьма тьмами і тисячі тисячами,
12 and they cried in a loud voice – ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive all power, and wealth, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and praise, and blessing.’
глаголючи голосом великим: Достоєн Агнець, заколений, приняти силу й багацтво, й премудрость, і кріпость, і честь і славу.
13 And I heard every created thing in the air, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them crying – ‘To him who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed all blessing, and honor, and praise, and dominion for ever and ever.’ (aiōn g165)
І всяке створіннє, що в небі, і на землі, і під землею, і що на морю, і все, що в них, чув я, що говорило: Сидячому на престолі і Агнцеві благословеннє, і честь, і слава і держава по вічні віки. (aiōn g165)
14 And the four creatures said ‘Amen,’ and the elders prostrated themselves and worshiped.
А четверо животних сказали: Амінь, а двайцять чотири старцї упали, і поклонились Живучому по вічні віки.
