Revelation 3
1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars; – I know your life, and that people say of you that you are living, though you are dead.
૧સાર્દિસમાંના મંડળીના સ્વર્ગદૂતને લખ કે. જેમને ઈશ્વરના સાત આત્મા તથા સાત તારા છે, તેઓ આ વાતો કહે છે તારાં કામ હું જાણું છું કે “તું જીવંત તરીકે જાણીતો છે, પણ ખરેખર તું મૃત છે.”
2 Be on the watch, and strengthen what still survives, though once it was all but dead; for I have not found your life perfect in the eyes of my God.
૨તું જાગૃત થા અને બાકીના જે કાર્યો તારામાં બચી ગયો છે તે મરણ પામવાની તૈયારીમાં છે, તેઓને બળવાન કર; કેમ કે મેં તારાં કામ મારા ઈશ્વરની આગળ સંપૂર્ણ થયેલાં જોયાં નથી.
3 Therefore remember what you have received and heard, and lay it to heart and repent. Unless you are on the watch, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I am coming to you.
૩માટે તને જે મળ્યું, તેં જે સાંભળ્યું છે, તેને યાદ કર અને ધ્યાનમાં રાખ, અને પસ્તાવો કર. કેમ કે જો તું જાગૃત નહિ રહે તો હું ચોરની માફક આવીશ, અને કઈ ઘડીએ હું તારા પર આવીશ તેની તને ખબર નહિ પડે.
4 Yet there are some few among you at Sardis who did not soil their robes; they will walk with me, robed in white, for they are worthy.
૪તોપણ જેઓએ પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો અશુદ્ધ કર્યાં નથી, એવાં થોડા લોકો તારી પાસે સાર્દિસમાં છે; તેઓ સફેદ વસ્ત્ર પહેરીને મારી સાથે ફરશે; કેમ કે તેઓ લાયક છે.
5 Those who conquer will be clothed in these white robes, and I will not strike their name out of the book of life; but I will own them before my Father, and before his angels.
૫જે જીતે છે તેને એ જ પ્રમાણે સફેદ વસ્ત્ર પહેરાવાશે; જીવનનાં પુસ્તકમાંથી તેનું નામ હું ભૂંસી નાખીશ નહિ. પણ મારા પિતાની આગળ તથા તેમના સ્વર્ગદૂતોની આગળ હું તેનું નામ સ્વીકારીશ.
6 Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
૬આત્મા મંડળીને જે કહે છે, તે જેને કાન છે તે સાંભળે.
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the Key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and shuts and no one opens:
૭ફિલાડેલ્ફિયામાંના મંડળીના સ્વર્ગદૂતને લખ કે, જે પવિત્ર છે, જે સત્ય છે, જેની પાસે દાઉદની ચાવી છે, જે તે ઉઘાડે છે એને કોઈ બંધ કરશે નહિ, તથા જે તે બંધ કરશે એને કોઈ ઉઘાડી શકશે નથી, તે આ વાતો કહે છે.
8 I know your life (see, I have set a door open before you which no one is able to shut), I know that, though you have but little strength, you kept my teaching in mind, and did not disown my name.
૮તારાં કામ હું જાણું છું. જુઓ, તારી આગળ મેં બારણું ખુલ્લું મૂક્યું છે, તેને કોઈ બંધ કરી શકે તેમ નથી. તારામાં થોડી શક્તિ છે, તોપણ તેં મારી વાત માની છે અને મારા નામનો ઇનકાર કર્યો નથી.
9 Listen, I give some of the congregation of Satan, the people who declare that they are God’s people, though they are not, but are lying – I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will learn that I loved you.
૯જુઓ, જેઓ શેતાનની સભામાંના છે, જેઓ કહે છે કે અમે યહૂદી છીએ, તોપણ એવા નથી, તેઓ જૂઠું બોલે છે. હું તેઓની પાસે એમ કરાવીશ કે તેઓ આવીને તારા પગ આગળ નમશે, અને મેં તારા પર પ્રેમ રાખ્યો છે એવું તેઓ જાણશે.
10 Because you kept in mind the story of my endurance, I will keep you in the hour of trial that is about to come on the whole world, the hour that will test all who are living on earth.
૧૦તેં ધીરજપૂર્વક મારા વચન પાળ્યું છે, તેથી પૃથ્વી પર રહેનારાઓની કસોટી કરવા સારુ કસોટીનો જે સમય આખા માનવજગત પર આવનાર છે, તેનાથી હું પણ તને બચાવીશ.
11 I will come quickly. Hold to what you have received so that no one may take your crown.
૧૧હું વહેલો આવું છું; તારું જે છે તેને તું વળગી રહે કે, કોઈ તારો મુગટ લઈ લે નહિ.
12 Those who conquer – I will make them a pillar in the Temple of my God; and never more will they leave it; and I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God, and I will write on them my new name.
૧૨જે જીતે છે તેને હું મારા ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સ્તંભ કરીશ, તે ફરી ત્યાંથી બહાર જશે નહિ; વળી તેના પર ઈશ્વરનું નામ તથા મારા ઈશ્વરના શહેરનું નામ, એટલે જે નવું યરુશાલેમ મારા ઈશ્વરની પાસેથી સ્વર્ગમાંથી ઊતરે છે તેનું, તથા મારું પોતાનું નવું નામ લખીશ.
13 Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
૧૩આત્મા મંડળીને જે કહે છે તે જેને કાન છે તે સાંભળે.
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Unchanging One, the witness faithful and true, the beginning of the Creation of God:
૧૪લાઓદિકિયામાંના મંડળીના સ્વર્ગદૂતને લખ કે, જે આમીન છે, જે વિશ્વાસુ તથા ખરા સાક્ષી છે, જે ઈશ્વરની સૃષ્ટિના મૂળરૂપ છે, તે આ વાતો કહે છે.
15 I know your life; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. If only you were either cold or hot!
૧૫તારાં કામ હું જાણું છું, કે તું ઠંડો નથી, તેમ જ ગરમ પણ નથી; તું ઠંડો અથવા ગરમ થાય એમ હું ચાહું છું!
16 But now, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
૧૬પણ તું હૂંફાળો છે, એટલે ગરમ નથી તેમ જ ઠંડો પણ નથી, માટે હું તને મારા મોંમાંથી થૂંકી નાખીશ.
17 You say ‘I am rich and have grown rich, and I want for nothing,’ and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, naked!
૧૭તું કહે છે કે, હું શ્રીમંત છું, મેં સંપત્તિ મેળવી છે, મને કશાની ખોટ નથી; પણ તું જાણતો નથી કે, તું કંગાળ, દયાજનક, ગરીબ, અંધ તથા નિર્વસ્ત્ર છે.
18 Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold which has been refined by fire so that you may grow rich; and white robes, so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness be hidden; and ointment to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
૧૮માટે હું તને એવી સલાહ આપું છું કે તું શ્રીમંત થાય, માટે અગ્નિથી શુદ્ધ કરેલું સોનું મારી પાસેથી વેચાતું લે; તું વસ્ત્ર પહેર, કે તારી નિર્વસ્ત્ર હોવાની શરમ પ્રગટ ન થાય, માટે સફેદ વસ્ત્ર વેચાતાં લે; તું દેખતો થાય, માટે અંજન વેચાતું લઈને તારી આંખોમાં આંજ.
19 All whom I love I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be in earnest and repent.
૧૯હું જેટલાં પર પ્રેમ રાખું છું, તે સર્વને ઠપકો આપું છું તથા શીખવવું છું; માટે તું ઉત્સાહી થા અને પસ્તાવો કર.
20 I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in, and will feast with them, and they will feast with me.
૨૦જુઓ, હું બારણા આગળ ઊભો રહીને ખટખટાવવું છું; જો કોઈ મારી વાણી સાંભળીને બારણું ઉઘાડશે, તો હું તેની પાસે અંદર આવીને તેની સાથે જમીશ, તે પણ મારી સાથે જમશે.
21 To those who conquer – to them I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, as I, when I conquered, took my seat beside my Father on his throne.
૨૧જે જીતે છે તેને હું મારા રાજ્યાસન પર મારી પાસે બેસવા દઈશ, જેમ હું પણ જીતીને મારા પિતાની પાસે તેમના રાજ્યાસન પર બેઠેલો છું.
22 Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
૨૨આત્મા મંડળીને જે કહે છે તે જેને કાન છે તે સાંભળે.
