Revelation 22
1 And the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, issuing from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
І показав менї чисту ріку води життя, ясну як хришталь, що виходила з престола Божого і Агнцевого.
2 in the middle of the street of the city. On each side of the river was a Tree of life which bore twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
А посеред улицї його, та й по сей і по той бік ріки - дерево життя, що родить овощі дванайцять (раз), і що місяця свій овощ дає, а листє з дерева на сцїленнє поган.
3 Every thing that is accursed will cease to be. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within it, and his servants will worship him;
І вже більш не буде жодного проклону; а престол Бога і Агнця буде в ньому, і слуги Його служити муть Йому
4 they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
І побачять лице Його, а імя Його на чолах їх.
5 Night will cease to be. They have no need of the light of a lamp, nor have they the light of the sun; for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
І ночі не буде там; і не потрібувати муть сьвічника і сьвітла сонця, бо Господь Бог осьвічує їх; і царювати муть по вічні віки. (aiōn g165)
6 Then the angel said to me – “These words may be trusted and are true. The Lord, the God that inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants what must quickly take place;
І рече менї: Сї слова вірні і правдиві; і Господь, Бог сьвятих пророків, післав ангела свого, показати слугам своїм, що мав незабаром бути.
7 and they said ‘I will come quickly.’ Blessed will he be who lays to heart the words of the prophecy contained in this book.”
Ось прийду незабаром. Блаженний, хто хоронить слова пророцтва книги сієї.
8 It was I, John, who heard and saw these things; and, when I heard and saw them, I prostrated myself in worship at the feet of the angel that showed them to me.
А я Йоан, що бачив се і чув; і коли чув я, і бачив, упав я поклонитись перед ногами ангела, що менї се показував.
9 But he said to me – “Forbear; I am your fellow servant, and the fellow servant of your fellow prophets, and of all who lay to heart the words in this book. Worship God.”
І каже менї: нї, глянь, я бо слуга-товариш твій, і братів твоїх пророків, і тих, що хоронять слова книги сієї: Богу поклони ся.
10 Then the angel said to me – “Do not keep secret the words of the prophecy contained in this book; for the time is near.
І глаголе менї: Не печатай слів пророцтва книги сієї; час бо близько.
11 Let the wrongdoer continue to do wrong; the filthy-minded continue to be filthy; the righteous continue to act righteously; and the holy-minded continue to be holy.”
Хто з'обіжає, нехай ще з'обіжає, і хто поганий, нехай ще опоганюєть ся; і хто праведний, нехай ще оправдуєть ся, і хто сьвятий, нехай ще осьвячуєть ся.
12 (‘I will come quickly. I bring my rewards with me, to give to each what their actions deserve.
І ось, я прийду хутко, і заплата моя зо мною, щоб віддати кожному, яко ж буде дїло його.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the beginning and the End.’)
Я АльФа і Омега, почин і конець, Первий і Останнїй.
14 Blessed will they be who wash their robes! They will have the right to approach the Tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.
Блаженні, що творять заповіді Його, щоб мали власть до дерева життя, і увійшли ворітьми в город.
15 Outside will be the filthy, the sorcerers, the impure, the murderers, the idolaters, and all who love the false and live it.
А на дворі будуть пси, і чарівники, і перелюбника, і душогубці, і ідолські служителї, і кожен, хто любить і робить лож.
16 ‘I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear testimony to you about these things before the churches. I am the Scion and the Offspring of David, the bright star of the Morning.’
Я Ісус післав ангела мого, сьвідкувати вам усе по церквах. Я - корінь і рід Давидів, зоря ясна і рання.
17 ‘Come,’ say the Spirit and the Bride; and all who hear, say ‘Come.’ All who thirst, come; anyone who wants, take the water of life freely.
А Дух і невіста глаголють: Прийди! і хто чув, нехай каже: Прийди! Хто жадний, нехай прийде, а хто хоче, нехай приймає воду життя дармо.
18 I declare to all who hear the words of the prophecy contained in this book – ‘If anyone adds to it, God will add to his troubles the curses described in this book;
Сьвідкую ж також кожному, хто слухає словес пророцтва книги сієї: коли хто долежить до сього, доложить йому Бог і пораз, що написані в книзі сїй.
19 and if anyone takes away any of the words in the book containing this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of life, and in the Holy City – as described in this book.’
Коли ж хто уйме від словес книги пророцтва сього, уйме Бог часть його з книги життя, і з города сьвятого, та й з того, що написано в книзі сїй.
20 He whose testimony this is says – ‘Assuredly I will come quickly.’ ‘Amen, come, Lord Jesus.’
Сей, що про се сьвідкує, глаголе: Так, прийду хутко! Амінь. О, прийди, Господи Ісусе!
21 May the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ, be with his people.
Благодать Господа нашого Ісуса Христа з усіма вами. Амінь.
