< Psalms 37 >
1 Of David. Be not kindled to wrath at the wicked, nor envious of those who work wrong;
Nkunga Davidi. Kadi fuemina batu bamvanganga mambimbi. Kadi monanga kikhenene bobo bamvanganga mambimbi.
2 for, like grass, they will speedily wither, and fade like the green of young grass.
Bila banga biti, bela yuma mu nsualu; banga biti bi nlangu bela lebuka mu nsualu.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; remain in the land, and deal faithfully:
Tula diana diaku mu Yave ayi vanga mamboti; buna wela vuanda mu tsi ayi wela zingila mu ndembama.
4 then the Lord will be your delight, he will grant you your heart’s petitions.
Mona khini mu Yave buna wela kuvana mambu mantomba ntimꞌaku.
5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act,
Yekula nzilꞌaku kuidi Yave, Tula diana diaku mu niandi, buna wela vanga diambu diadi:
6 making clear as the light your right, and your just cause clear as the noon-day.
Wela kienzula busonga buaku banga kiezila ki khiesa buisi nzengolo yi diambu diaku banga thangu va midi.
7 In silence and patience wait on the Lord. Be not kindled to anger at those who prosper. At those who execute evil devices.
Ba dio sui va ntuala Yave, ayi wuntadidila mu mvibudulu kadi fuemina batu bu balembo moni mamboti mu nzilꞌandi; ayi kadi fuemina batu balembo sadila makani mawu mambimbi.
8 Desist from anger, abandon wrath: be not kindled to anger it leads but to evil:
Bika buela fuema ayi zimbakana nganzi; kadi fuema bila dieti nata kaka ku mambu mambimbi.
9 for evildoers will be cut off, but the land will be theirs, who wait on the Lord.
Bila bobo bamvanganga mambimbi bela lalukusu; vayi bobo bantulanga diana diawu mu Yave bela tambula tsi banga kiuka.
10 Yet but a little, and the wicked vanish: look at their place: they are there no more.
Fioti kuandi fisiedi, buna batu bambimbi balendi buela monika ko; buna wela tala buangu kibabedi vayi bela va ba ko.
11 But the humble will have the land, and the rapture of peace in abundance.
Vayi minlembami miela tambula tsi banga kiuka ayi miela monanga khini mu ndembama yiwombo.
12 The wicked plots against the righteous, snarls like a wild animal;
Batu bambimbi bamfielanga batu basonga ayi beti kuba kuetila meno.
13 the Lord laughs, for he sees that his day is coming.
Yave wunsevanga mutu wumbimbi; bila zebi ti lumbu kiandi kalembo yizi.
14 The wicked have drawn the sword, and bent the bow, to fell the poor, to slay those who walk uprightly;
Batu bambimbi bavola bisabala ayi baleka mimbasa mu diambu di vonda nkua kiadi ayi mutu wusukama; mu diambu di zenga bobo bandiatanga mu nzila yi lulama.
15 but their sword will pierce their own heart, and their bows will be broken in pieces.
Bisabala biawu biela kota mu mintima miawu veka; ayi mimbasa miawu miela kelulu.
16 Better is the righteous person’s little than the wealth of many wicked.
Baka ku fioti ku mutu wusonga kulutidi ayi baka kuphuedi ku wombo di batu bambimbi.
17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
Bila lulendo lu batu bambimbi luela kelulu, vayi Yave wunsimbanga batu basonga.
18 The Lord watches over the days of the blameless, their heritage will continue forever.
Bilumbu bi batu bakambulu tsembolo bizabikini kuidi Yave ayi kiuka kiawu kizingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, in the days of famine they will be satisfied.
Mu thangu yi ziphasi, balendi yuma ko mu lumbu ki nzala, bawu bela mona khini yiwombo.
20 Because the wicked will perish: but the foes of the Lord, like a brand in the oven, will vanish, like smoke they will vanish.
Vayi batu bambimbi bela bungana. Bambeni zi Yave, badi banga kitoko ki zitsola, ziela lalakana; ziela lalakana banga muisi.
21 The wicked must borrow and cannot pay back, but the righteous is lavish and gives.
Mutu wumbimbi wundevanga vayi kavutulanga ko; Vayi mutu wusonga weti kabula mu luzolo lu ntima.
22 For those blest by the Lord inherit the land, while those whom he curses will be cut off.
Bobo Yave kasakumuna bela tambula tsi banga kiuka, vayi bobo kasinga bela lalukusu.
23 The Lord supports the steps of those with whom he is pleased.
Enati Yave mueni khini mu nzila yi mutu buna wunkindisanga zithambi zi mutu beni.
24 Though they fall, they will not be cast headlong, for the Lord holds their hands.
Ka diambu ko bumini thutu; kalendi bua ko; bila Yave wukunsimbidilanga mu koko kuandi.
25 Never, from youth to age, have I seen the righteous forsaken, or their children begging bread.
Ndiba ditoko, buabu ndieka nunu; vayi ndisia mona ko mutu wusonga wuyekolo voti ndisia mona ko bana bandi balomba dipha.
26 They are ever lavishly lending, and their children are fountains of blessing.
Mu zithangu zioso, beti kabula ayi vananga mu luzolo Bana bawu bela sakumunu.
27 Turn away from evil and do good and you will live in the land forever.
Tina mambimbi; vanga mamboti buna wela vuanda mu tsi mu zithangu zioso.
28 For the Lord loves justice, he does not forsake his friends. The unrighteous will be destroyed forever, and the seed of the wicked will be cut off.
Bila Yave wunzolanga mambu masonga ayi kalendi zimbakana ko mikhuikizi miandi. Bela kebungu mu zithangu zioso vayi nkuna wu batu bambimbi wela lalukusu.
29 But the land will belong to the righteous, they will live upon it forever,
Batu basonga bela tambula tsi banga kiuka ayi bela mukalanga mu zithangu zioso.
30 The mouth of the righteous murmurs wisdom, and words of justice are on their tongues.
Munu wu mutu wusonga wuntotulanga mambu ma nduenga ayi ludimi luandi luntubanga mambu ma lulama.
31 The law of their God is in their heart, their steps are never unsteady.
Mina mi Nzambi andi midi mu ntimꞌandi; Malu mandi malendi sialumuka ko.
32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to put them to death.
Mutu wumbimbi wumfielanga mutu wusonga ayi wuntombanga kumvondisa.
33 But the Lord leaves them not in their hand: at their trial they will not be held guilty.
Yave kalendi yekula ko basonga mu lulendo lu batu bambimbi voti kuba bika babedoso bu balembo sambusu.
34 Wait on the Lord, and observe his way: he will lift you to honor the land will be yours, you will feast your eyes on the doom of the wicked.
Tadidila Yave, ayi keba nzilꞌandi. Buna wela kuyayisa mu diambu wutambula tsi banga kiuka; thangu batu bambimbi bela lalukusu, ngeyo wela bumona.
35 I have seen the wicked exultant, lifting themselves like a cedar of Lebanon.
Ndimona mutu wumbimbi, ayi mutu kondolo kiadi, wuyunduka bumboti banga nti wu nlangu mu ntoto wowo kabutukila.
36 But the moment I passed, they vanished! I sought for them, but they could not be found.
Niandi wuvioka, nsualu ayi kasiedi ko. Ndintombidi ngolo vayi kasia monika ko.
37 Preserve your honor and practise uprightness, for such a person fares well in the end.
Fiongunina mutu kambulu tsembolo ayi tala tala mutu wu lulama buna wela mona ti tsukulu yi mutu wowo yidi tsukulu yi ndembama.
38 But transgressors will perish together. Cut off are the wicked forever.
Vayi bankua masumu boso bela vondo va kimosi tsukulu yi batu bambimbi yela ba lalukusu.
39 The righteous are saved by the Lord, who in time of distress is their refuge:
Phulusu yi batu basonga kuidi Yave yeti ba. Niandi zingolo ziawu mu thangu yi ziphasi.
40 the Lord helps and rescue them, from the wicked he rescues and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
Yave wukubasadisanga ayi wukubakulanga; wukubakulanga mu batu bambimbi ayi wukubavukisanga bila mu niandi beti suamina.
