Mark 1
1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ.
Jesu Kristi, Guds Søns, Evangeliums Begyndelse er således,
2 It is said in the prophet Isaiah – ‘I am sending my messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way.
som der er skrevet hos Profeten Esajas: "Se, jeg sender min Engel for dit Ansigt, han skal berede din Vej.
3 The voice of one crying aloud in the wilderness: “Prepare the road for the Lord, make a straight path for him.”’
Der er en Røst af en, som råber i Ørkenen: Bereder Herrens Vej, gører hans Stier jævne!"
4 John the Baptizer appeared in the wilderness, proclaiming a baptism on repentance, for the forgiveness of sins.
Johannes kom, han, som døbte i Ørkenen og prædikede Omvendelses-Dåb til Syndernes Forladelse.
5 The whole of Judea, as well as all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, went out to him; and they were baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
Og hele Judæas Land og alle i Jerusalem gik ud og bleve døbt, af ham i Floden Jordan, idet de bekendte deres Synder
6 John wore clothes made of camels’ hair, with a leather strap around his waist, and lived on locusts and wild honey;
Og Johannes var klædt i Kamelhår og havde et Læderbælte om sin Lænd og spiste Græshopper og vild Honning.
7 and he proclaimed – “After me is coming someone more powerful than I am, and I am not fit even to stoop down and unfasten his sandals.
Og han prædikede og sagde: "Efter mig kommer den, som er stærkere end jeg, hvis Skotvinge jeg ikke er værdig at bøje mig ned og løse.
8 I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
Jeg har døbt eder med Vand, men han skal døbe eder med den Helligånd."
9 Now about that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
Og det skete i de dage, at Jesus kom fra Nazareth i Galilæa og blev døbt af Johannes i Jordan.
10 Just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens split open and the Spirit coming down to him like a dove,
Og straks da han steg op af Vandet, så han Himlene skilles ad og Ånden ligesom en Due dale ned over ham;
11 and from the heavens came a voice – “You are my dearly loved son; you bring me great joy.”
og der kom en Røst fra Himlene: "Du er min Søn, den elskede, i dig har jeg Velbehag."
12 Immediately afterward the Spirit drove Jesus out into the wilderness;
Og straks driver Ånden ham ud i Ørkenen.
13 and he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and among the wild beasts, while the angels helped him.
Og han var i Ørkenen fyrretyve Dage, medens han fristedes af Satan, og han var blandt Dyrene; og Englene tjente ham.
14 After John had been arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God –
Men efter at Johannes var kastet i Fængsel, kom Jesus til Galilæa og prædikede Guds Evangelium
15 “The time has come, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe the good news.”
og sagde: "Tiden er fuldkommet, og Guds Rige er kommet nær; omvender eder og tror på Evangeliet!"
16 As Jesus was going along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.
Og medens han gik langs Galilæas Sø, så han Simon og Simons Broder Andreas i Færd med at kaste Garn i Søen; thi de vare Fiskere.
17 “Come and follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will teach you to fish for people.”
Og Jesus sagde til dem: "Følger efter mig, så vil jeg gøre eder til Menneskefiskere."
18 They left their nets at once, and followed him.
Og de forlode straks Garnene og fulgte ham.
19 Going on a little further, he saw James, Zebedee’s son, and his brother John, who were in their boat mending the nets.
Og da han gik lidt videre frem, så han, Jakob, Zebedæus's Søn, og hans Broder Johannes, som også vare i Færd med at bøde deres Garn i Skibet;
20 Jesus called them at once, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the crew, and went after him.
og han kaldte straks på dem, og de forlode deres Fader Zebedæus i Skibet med Lejesvendene og gik efter ham.
21 They walked to Capernaum. On the next Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
Og de gå ind i Kapernaum. Og straks på Sabbaten gik han ind i Synagogen og lærte,
22 The people were amazed at his teaching, for he taught them like one who had authority, and not like the teachers of the Law.
og de bleve slagne af Forundring over hans Lære; thi han lærte dem som en, der havde Myndighed, og ikke som de skriftkloge.
23 Now there was in their synagogue at the time a man under the power of a foul spirit, who called out,
Og der var i deres Synagoge et Menneske med en uren Ånd, og han råbte højt
24 “What do you want with us, Jesus the Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!”
og sagde: "Hvad have vi med dig at gøre, Jesus af Nazareth? Er du kommen for at ødelægge os; jeg kender dig, hvem du er, du Guds hellige."
25 But Jesus rebuked the spirit, “Be silent! Come out from him.”
Og Jesus truede ham og sagde: "Ti, og far ud af ham!"
26 The foul spirit threw the man into a fit, and with a loud cry came out from him.
Og den urene Ånd sled i ham og råbte med høj Røst og for ud af ham.
27 They were all so amazed that they kept asking each other, “What is this? What is this, a new kind of teaching? He gives his commands with authority even to the foul spirits, and they obey him!”
Og de bleve alle forfærdede, så at de spurgte hverandre og sagde: "Hvad er dette? en ny Lære med Myndighed; også over de urene Ånder byder han, og de lyde ham."
28 His fame spread at once in all directions, through the whole region of Galilee.
Og Rygtet om ham kom straks ud alle Vegne i hele det omliggende Land i Galilæa.
29 As soon as they had left the synagogue, they went to the house of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John.
Og straks, da de vare gåede ud af Synagogen, kom de ind i Simons og Andreas's Hus med Jakob og Johannes.
30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying ill with a fever, and they at once told Jesus about her.
Men Simons Svigermoder lå og havde Feber, og straks tale de til ham om hende;
31 Jesus went up to her and, grasping her hand, raised her up; the fever left her, and she began to take care of them.
og han gik hen til hende, tog hende ved Hånden og rejste hende op, og Feberen forlod hende, og hun vartede dem op.
32 In the evening, after sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who were ill or possessed by demons;
Men da det var blevet Aften, og Solen var gået ned, førte de til ham alle de syge og besatte,
33 and the whole city was gathered around the door.
og hele Byen var forsamlet foran Døren.
34 Jesus cured many who were ill with various diseases, and drove out many demons, and would not permit them to speak, because they knew him to be the Christ.
Og han helbredte mange, som lede af mange Hånde Sygdomme, og han uddrev mange onde Ånder; og han tillod ikke de onde Ånder at tale, fordi de kendte ham.
35 In the morning, long before daylight, Jesus got up and went out to a lonely spot, where he began to pray.
Og om Morgenen længe før Dag stod han op og gik ud og gik hen til et øde Sted, og der bad han:
36 But Simon and his companions went out searching for him;
Og Simon og de, som vare med ham, skyndte sig efter ham.
37 and, when they found him, they exclaimed, “Everyone is looking for you!”
Og de fandt ham, og de sige til ham: "Alle lede efter dig."
38 But Jesus said to them, “Let us go somewhere else, into the country towns nearby so that I can make my proclamation in them also; for that was why I came.”
Og han siger til dem: "Lader os gå andetsteds hen til de nærmeste Småbyer, for at jeg kan prædike også der; thi dertil er jeg udgået."
39 And he went about making his proclamation in their synagogues all through Galilee, and driving out the demons.
Og han kom og prædikede i deres Synagoger i hele Galilæa og uddrev de onde Ånder.
40 One day a leper came to Jesus and, falling on his knees, begged him for help. “If only you are willing,” he said, “you are able to make me clean.”
Og en spedalsk kommer til ham, beder ham og falder på Knæ for ham og siger til ham: "Om du vil, så kan du rense mig."
41 Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying as he did so, “I am willing; become clean.”
Og han ynkedes inderligt og udrakte Hånden og rørte ved ham og siger til ham: "Jeg vil; bliv ren!"
42 Instantly the leprosy left the man, and he became clean;
Og straks forlod Spedalskheden ham, og han blev renset.
43 and then Jesus, after sternly warning him, immediately sent him away,
Og han drev ham straks bort, idet han bød ham strengt
44 and said to him, “Be careful not to say anything to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and make the offerings for your cleansing directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.”
og sagde til ham: "Se til, at du ikke siger noget til nogen herom; men gå hen, fremstil dig selv for Præsten, og offer for din Renselse det, som Moses har befalet, til Vidnesbyrd for dem!"
45 The man, however, went away, and began to speak about it publicly, and to spread the story so widely, that Jesus could no longer go openly into a town, but stayed outside in lonely places; and people came to him from every direction.
Men da han kom ud, begyndte han at fortælle meget og udsprede Rygtet derom, så at han ikke mere kunde gå åbenlyst ind i en By; men han var udenfor på øde Steder, og de kom til ham alle Vegne fra.
