Mark 3
1 On another occasion Jesus went in to a synagogue, where there was a man whose hand was withered.
੧ਯਿਸੂ ਫੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
2 And they watched Jesus closely, to see if he would cure the man on the Sabbath, so that they might have a charge to bring against him.
੨ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਕਿ ਵੇਖੀਏ ਉਹ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਜੁੰਮੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਣ।
3 “Stand out in the middle,” Jesus said to the man with the withered hand;
੩ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ।
4 and to the people he said, “Is it allowable to do good at the Sabbath – or harm? To save a life, or destroy it?”
੪ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ? ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਉਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ? ਪਰ ਉਹ ਚੁੱਪ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ।
5 As they remained silent, Jesus looked around at them in anger, grieving at the hardness of their hearts, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” The man stretched it out; and his hand had become sound.
੫ਤਦ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਦਿਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾ। ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਫੇਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
6 Immediately on leaving the synagogue, the Pharisees and the Herodians united in laying a plot against Jesus, to put him to death.
੬ਤਦ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਹੇਰੋਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਜੋ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੀਏ।
7 Then Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, followed by a great number of people from Galilee.
੭ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਸਣੇ ਝੀਲ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰ ਪਈ।
8 A great number, hearing of all that he was doing, came to him from Judea, from Jerusalem, from Edom, from beyond the Jordan, and from the country around Tyre and Sidon.
੮ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਅਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਦੇ ਪਾਰੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਦਾ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲਿਓਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਈ।
9 So Jesus told his disciples to keep a small boat close by, so that the crowd would not crush him.
੯ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਭੀੜ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਨਾ ਲੈਣ।
10 For he had cured many of them, and so people kept crowding around him, so all who were sick might touch him.
੧੦ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਐਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਹਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
11 The foul spirits, too, whenever they caught sight of him, flung themselves down before him, and screamed out, “You are the Son of God”!
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੇ, ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ!
12 But he repeatedly warned them not to make him known.
੧੨ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ!।
13 Jesus made his way up the hill, and called those whom he wished; and they went to him.
੧੩ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।
14 He appointed twelve – whom he also named ‘apostles’ – so that they might be with him, and that he might send them out as his messengers, to preach,
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਨੇ ਰਸੂਲ ਆਖਿਆ) ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇ, ਜੋ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ।
15 and with power to drive out demons.
੧੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਮਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਣ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
16 So he appointed the Twelve – Peter (which was the name that Jesus gave to Simon),
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਰੱਖਿਆ,
17 James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John (to whom he gave the name of Boanerges, which means the Thunderers),
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਬਨੀ-ਰੋਗਿਜ਼ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਗਰਜਣ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ
18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦ੍ਰਿਯਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਥੁਲਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਥੋਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਲਫ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਥੱਦਈ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਕਨਾਨੀ
19 and Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed him.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਇਸਕਰਿਯੋਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਵਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
20 Jesus went into a house; and again a crowd collected, so that they were not even able to eat their food.
੨੦ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਐਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਖਾ ਸਕੇ।
21 When his relatives heard of it, they went to take charge of him, for they said that he was out of his mind.
੨੧ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
22 The teachers of the Law, who had come down from Jerusalem, said, “He has Beelzebul in him! He drives the demons out by the help of their chief.”
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਇਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ (ਮੂਲ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਲਜਬੂਲ) ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ।
23 So Jesus called them to him, and answered them in parables, “How can Satan drive out Satan?
੨੩ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
24 When a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot last;
੨੪ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਠਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
25 and when a household is divided against itself, it will not be able to last.
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
26 So, if Satan is in revolt against himself and is divided, he cannot last – his end has come!
੨੬ਜੇ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਟ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਠਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
27 “No man who has broken into a strong man’s house can carry off his goods, without first tying him up; and not until then will he plunder his house.
੨੭ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੁੱਟ ਸਕਦਾ ਜੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਲਵੇ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਲੁੱਟ ਸਕੇਗਾ।
28 I tell you that people will be forgiven everything – their sins, and all the slanders that they utter;
੨੮ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਉਹ ਕਰਨ, ਮਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
30 This was said in reply to the charge that he had a foul spirit in him.
੩੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ।
31 His mother and his brothers came, and stood outside, and sent to ask him to come to them.
੩੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਵਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ।
32 There was a crowd sitting around Jesus, and some of them said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers are outside, asking for you.”
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਵੇਖੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ।
33 “Who is my mother? And my brothers?” was his reply.
੩੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ?
34 Then he looked around on the people sitting in a circle around him, and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!
੩੪ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ, ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਇਹ ਵੇਖੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਇਹ ਹਨ।
35 Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”
੩੫ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਹੈ।
