Mark 1
1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ.
੧ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭ।
2 It is said in the prophet Isaiah – ‘I am sending my messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way.
੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ,
3 The voice of one crying aloud in the wilderness: “Prepare the road for the Lord, make a straight path for him.”’
੩ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼, ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਕਰੋ।
4 John the Baptizer appeared in the wilderness, proclaiming a baptism on repentance, for the forgiveness of sins.
੪ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਆਇਆ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਫ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਤੋਬਾ ਦੇ ਬਪਤਿਸਮੇ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
5 The whole of Judea, as well as all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, went out to him; and they were baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
੫ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਦੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
6 John wore clothes made of camels’ hair, with a leather strap around his waist, and lived on locusts and wild honey;
੬ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਊਠ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੇ ਦੀ ਪੇਟੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਟਿੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
7 and he proclaimed – “After me is coming someone more powerful than I am, and I am not fit even to stoop down and unfasten his sandals.
੭ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਦਾ ਤਸਮਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ।
8 I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
੮ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
9 Now about that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
੯ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਸਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲਿਆ।
10 Just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens split open and the Spirit coming down to him like a dove,
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੇ ਸਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਘੁੱਗੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉੱਤਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
11 and from the heavens came a voice – “You are my dearly loved son; you bring me great joy.”
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਆਈ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
12 Immediately afterward the Spirit drove Jesus out into the wilderness;
੧੨ਤਦ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
13 and he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and among the wild beasts, while the angels helped him.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੂਤ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
14 After John had been arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God –
੧੪ਉਪਰੰਤ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਫੜਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,
15 “The time has come, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe the good news.”
੧੫ਸਮਾਂ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੋਬਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ।
16 As Jesus was going along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.
੧੬ਗਲੀਲ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਅੰਦ੍ਰਿਯਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਲ਼ ਪਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮਛਵਾਰੇ ਸਨ।
17 “Come and follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will teach you to fish for people.”
੧੭ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਆਓ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਛਵਾਰੇ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
18 They left their nets at once, and followed him.
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਲ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਹੋ ਤੁਰੇ।
19 Going on a little further, he saw James, Zebedee’s son, and his brother John, who were in their boat mending the nets.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜੀ ਦੂਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਲ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
20 Jesus called them at once, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the crew, and went after him.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ।
21 They walked to Capernaum. On the next Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
੨੧ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਕਫ਼ਰਨਾਹੂਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
22 The people were amazed at his teaching, for he taught them like one who had authority, and not like the teachers of the Law.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
23 Now there was in their synagogue at the time a man under the power of a foul spirit, who called out,
੨੩ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾ ਚਿੰਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ,
24 “What do you want with us, Jesus the Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!”
੨੪ਹੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨਾਸਰੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੰਮ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ? ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਨ ਹੈਂ!
25 But Jesus rebuked the spirit, “Be silent! Come out from him.”
੨੫ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ!
26 The foul spirit threw the man into a fit, and with a loud cry came out from him.
੨੬ਸੋ ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਰੋੜ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਗਿਆ।
27 They were all so amazed that they kept asking each other, “What is this? What is this, a new kind of teaching? He gives his commands with authority even to the foul spirits, and they obey him!”
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਕਿ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ? ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ! ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
28 His fame spread at once in all directions, through the whole region of Galilee.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਫੈਲ ਗਿਆ।
29 As soon as they had left the synagogue, they went to the house of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John.
੨੯ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਸਣੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਤੇ ਅੰਦ੍ਰਿਯਾਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆਏ।
30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying ill with a fever, and they at once told Jesus about her.
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਦੀ ਸੱਸ ਬੁਖ਼ਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਖੀ ਪਈ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
31 Jesus went up to her and, grasping her hand, raised her up; the fever left her, and she began to take care of them.
੩੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉੱਠਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬੁਖ਼ਾਰ ਉਤਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
32 In the evening, after sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who were ill or possessed by demons;
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੂਤ ਚਿੰਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਏ।
33 and the whole city was gathered around the door.
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਨਗਰ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
34 Jesus cured many who were ill with various diseases, and drove out many demons, and would not permit them to speak, because they knew him to be the Christ.
੩੪ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਾਂਤ-ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਸਨ, ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
35 In the morning, long before daylight, Jesus got up and went out to a lonely spot, where he began to pray.
੩੫ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਤੜਕੇ, ਦਿਨ ਨਿੱਕਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਉਜਾੜ ਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
36 But Simon and his companions went out searching for him;
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਗਏ।
37 and, when they found him, they exclaimed, “Everyone is looking for you!”
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ।
38 But Jesus said to them, “Let us go somewhere else, into the country towns nearby so that I can make my proclamation in them also; for that was why I came.”
੩੮ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਆਓ, ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
39 And he went about making his proclamation in their synagogues all through Galilee, and driving out the demons.
੩੯ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
40 One day a leper came to Jesus and, falling on his knees, begged him for help. “If only you are willing,” he said, “you are able to make me clean.”
੪੦ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿੰਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਗੋਡੇ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
41 Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying as he did so, “I am willing; become clean.”
੪੧ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾ।
42 Instantly the leprosy left the man, and he became clean;
੪੨ਤਾਂ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ!
43 and then Jesus, after sternly warning him, immediately sent him away,
੪੩ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
44 and said to him, “Be careful not to say anything to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and make the offerings for your cleansing directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.”
੪੪ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵੇਖ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੀਂ ਪਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਭੇਟ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
45 The man, however, went away, and began to speak about it publicly, and to spread the story so widely, that Jesus could no longer go openly into a town, but stayed outside in lonely places; and people came to him from every direction.
੪੫ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਫੇਰ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁੱਲਮ-ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਵੜ ਸਕਿਆ ਪਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਉਜਾੜ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰਿਓਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
