John 5
1 Sometime after this there was a Jewish Festival; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
୧ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ମୁକିଅ ପରବ୍ ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଜିସୁ ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ଗାଲା ।
2 There is in Jerusalem, near the sheep-gate, a bath with five colonnades around it. It is called in Hebrew ‘Bethesda.’
୨ଜିରୁସାଲାମର୍ ମେଣ୍ଡା ଦୁଆର୍ ଲଗେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବନ୍ଦ୍ ରଇଲା । ସେଟାକେ ଏବ୍ରି ବାସାଇ ବେତେସ୍ଦା ବଲି କଇବାଇ । ତେଇ ପାଁଚ୍ଟା ମଣ୍ଡପ୍ ରଇଲା ।
3 In these colonnades a large number of sick people were lying – blind, lame, and crippled.
୩ସେ ମଣ୍ଡପ୍ ମନର୍ଟାନେ କେତେକ୍ କେତେକ୍ ଜର୍ଦୁକା ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ରଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ । ରଗିମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କାଣା, ଚଟା, ଆରି କେତେକ୍ ଅଦୁଆ ରଗିମନ୍ ରଇଲାଇ ।
୪କାଇକେବଇଲେ କେଡେ କେଡେବଲ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦୁତ୍ ଆସିକରି ସେ ବନ୍ଦର୍ ପାନି ଅଲ୍କା କର୍ତେ ରଇଲା । ଆରି ସେ ଅଲ୍କା ଅଇଲାପଚେ, ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଜାଇତେ ରଇଲା, ତାକେ କାଇ ରଗ୍ ଅଇରଇଲେ ମିସା ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଜାଇତେରଇଲା ।
5 One man who was there had been crippled for thirty-eight years.
୫ତାକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ତିରିସ୍ ଆଟ୍ ବରସ୍ ଜାକ ଡୁଲିରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ରଗି ଲକ୍ ରଇଲା ।
6 Jesus saw the man lying there, and, finding that he had been in this state a long time, said to him, “Do you wish to be cured?”
୬ତେଇ ଜିସୁ ସେ ରଗି ଡୁଲିରଇବାଟା ଦେକି, ଏ ଲକ୍ ବେସି ବରସର୍ ରଗି ବଲି ଜାନି ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା “ତମେ କାଇ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି କି?”
7 “I have no one, Sir,” the sick man answered, “to put me into the bath when there is a troubling of the water, and, while I am getting to it, someone else steps down before me.”
୭ସେ ରଗି ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁକେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ଆଗିଆଁ ପାନି ଅଲ୍କା କଲାବେଲେ, ସେ ବନ୍ଦ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ମକେ ନେବାକେ କେ ନାଇ । ଆରି ବନ୍ଦ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜିବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲାବେଲେ ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ ମର୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଉଟିଜିବାଇ ।”
8 “Stand up,” said Jesus, “take up your mat, and walk.”
୮ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ଉଟି ଟିଆଅ, ଆରି ତର୍ ଟାଟି ଦାରି ଇଣ୍ଡିଜା ।”
9 The man was cured immediately, and took up his mat and began walking.
୯ସେ ଦାପ୍ରେ ସେ ଲକ୍ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଗାଲା ଆରି ନିଜର୍ ଟାଟି ଦାରିକରି ଇଣ୍ଡ୍ବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା । ସେ ଦିନ୍ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ବାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
10 Now it was the Sabbath. So the religious authorities said to the man who had been cured, “This is the Sabbath; you must not carry your mat.”
୧୦ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍, ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଲା ରଗିକେ କଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଆଜି ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ ଦିନେ, ତୁଇ ଟାଟି ଦାରି ଜିବାଟା ଆମର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ନାଇ ।”
11 “The man who cured me,” he answered, “said to me ‘Take up your mat and walk.’”
୧୧ମାତର୍ ସେ ଲକ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଜେ ମକେ ନିମାନ୍ କଲା ସେ ମକେ ତମର୍ ଟାଟିଦାରିକରି ଜା ବଲି କଇଲାଆଚେ ।”
12 “Who was it,” they asked, “that said to you ‘Take up your mat and walk’?”
୧୨ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଜେ ତକେ ଟାଟି ଦାରି ଜା ବଲି କଇଲା, ସେ ଲକ୍ କେ?”
13 But the man who had been restored did not know who it was; for Jesus had moved away, because there was a crowd there.
୧୩ମାତର୍ ସେ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁ କେ ବଲି ଚିନି ନରଇଲା, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେ ଜାଗାଇ ବେସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ରଇଲାଇଜେ, ଜିସୁ ତେଇଅନି ବିନେ ପିସ୍ଲି ଉଟିଜାଇରଇଲା ।
14 Afterward Jesus found the man in the Temple Courts, and said to him, “You are cured now; do not sin again, or something worse may happen to you.”
୧୪ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ସେ ନିକ ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍କେ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଦେକିକରି କଇଲା, “ଦେକ୍ ଏବେ ତୁଇ ନିକ ଅଇଜାଇଆଚୁସ୍ । ତୁଇ ଆରି ପାପ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ନାଇ । ନଇଲେ ତକେ ଆରି ଅଦିକ୍ ଦୁକ୍ କସ୍ଟ ଆଇସି ମିସା ।”
15 The man went away, and told the authorities that it was Jesus who had cured him.
୧୫ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେ ନିକ ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଜାଇକରି, “ଜେ ତାକେ ନିକ କରିରଇଲା, ସେ ଜିସୁ” ବଲି କଇଲା ।
16 And that was why they began to persecute Jesus – because he did things of this kind on the Sabbath.
୧୬ଏ ନିମାନ୍ କାମ୍ କଲାଟା, ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ ବାରେ ଅଇରଇଲା ଜେ, ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ଦୁକ୍କସ୍ଟ ଦେବାର୍ ବସ୍ଲାଇ ।
17 But Jesus replied, “My Father works to this very hour, and I work also.”
୧୭ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମର୍ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସବୁବେଲା କାମ୍କଲାନି, ମୁଇ ମିସା ସେନ୍ତି କାମ୍ କଲିନି ।”
18 This made the authorities all the more eager to kill him, because not only was he doing away with the Sabbath, but he actually called God his own Father – putting himself on an equality with God.
୧୮ଜିସୁ ଏନ୍ତି କଇରଇଲାଜେ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ତାକେ ମରାଇବାକେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଚେସ୍ଟା କଲାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଜିସୁ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ ବାରର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନେ ନାଇ ବଲି ନାଇ, ମାତର୍ ସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ମର୍ ବାବା ବଲି କଇ, ନିଜ୍କେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସମାନ୍ କରି ରଇଲା ।
19 So Jesus made this further reply, “In truth I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself; he does only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does, the Son does also.
୧୯ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କଇଲିନି, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପିଲା ମୁଇ ନିଜେ କାଇଟା ମିସା କରିନାପାରି । ମର୍ ବାବା ଜନ୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ସବୁ କର୍ବାଟା ମୁଇ ଦେକ୍ଲିନି ସେଟାସେ ମୁଇ କରିପାରି । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ବାବା ଜନ୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ସବୁ କଲାନି ତାର୍ପିଲା ମୁଇ ମିସା ସେଟା ସବୁ ସେନ୍ତିସେ କଲିନି ।
20 For the Father loves his Son, and shows him everything that he is doing; and he will show him still greater things – so that you will be filled with wonder.
୨୦ବାବା ମକେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ସି ଆରି ନିଜେ ଜନ୍ଟା କର୍ସି, ସେ ସବୁ ମକେ ଦେକାଇସି । ଆରି ଏବେ ଜାଇଟା ଗଟ୍ଲା ଆଚେ, ତାର୍ତେଇଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ କାବାଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ମନ୍ ମକେ ଦେକାଇସି । ସେଟା ସବୁ ଦେକି ତମେ ସବୁଲକ୍ କାବାଅଇଜାଇସା ।
21 For, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he pleases.
୨୧ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜେନ୍ତି ମଲାଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଜିବନ୍ କରି ଉଟାଇସି, ସମାନ୍ ସେନ୍ତି ମୁଇ ମିସା ତାର୍ ପିଲା ଜାକେ ଜାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ବି, ସେମନ୍କେ ମଲାତେଇଅନି ଉଟାଇବି ।
22 The Father himself does not judge any one, but has entrusted the work of judging entirely to his Son,
୨୨ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ କାକେ ମିସା ତାର୍ ପାପ୍ କାମ୍ଲାଗି ବିଚାର୍ ନ କରେ । ମାତର୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ତାର୍ ପିଲା ମକେ, ଦେଲା ଆଚେ ।
23 so that everyone may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. The person who does not honour the Son fails to honour the Father who sent him.
୨୩ତେବେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବାବାକେ ଜେନ୍ତି ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେଲାଇନି, ସେନ୍ତିସେ ତାର୍ ପିଲା ମକେ ମିସା ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେବାଇ । ଜଦି ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାର୍ ପିଲା ମକେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେଅତ୍ ନାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ମକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ବାବାକେ ମିସା ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେଅତ୍ ନାଇ ।
24 In truth I tell you that the person who listens to my message and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and does not come under condemnation, but has already passed out of death into life. (aiōnios g166)
୨୪“ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କଇଲିନି, ଜେ ମର୍ କାତା ସୁନି ମକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ସି, ସେ ନ ସାର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇସି । ଆରି ସେ ବିଚାର୍ନା କରାଇ ନ ଅଏ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେ ମରନ୍କେ ଜିତି କରି ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇଆଚେ । (aiōnios g166)
25 In truth I tell you that a time is coming, indeed it is already here, when the dead will listen to the voice of the Son of God, and when those who listen will live.
୨୫ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କଇଲିନି ଏନ୍ତି ଗଟେକ୍ ବେଲା ଆଇଲାନି, ସେ ବେଲା ଏବେ କେଟିଆଚେ । ଜେଡେବେଲା ମଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପିଲା ମର୍ କଁଟର୍ ସର୍ ସୁନ୍ବାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇ ଉଟ୍ବାଇ ।
26 For, just as the Father has inherent life within him, so also he has granted to the Son to have inherent life within him;
୨୬ବାବା ଜେନ୍ତିକି ଜିବନର୍ ମୁଲ୍, ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ତାର୍ ପିଲା ମୁଇ ମିସା ଜିବନର୍ ମୁଲ୍ ।
27 and, because he is Son of Man, he has also given him authority to act as judge.
୨୭ଆରି ମୁଇ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆଇଲା ନର୍ପିଲା ଅଇଲାର୍ଲାଗି, ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ଅଦିକାର୍ ସେ ମକେ ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।
28 Do not wonder at this; for the time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice,
୨୮ତମେ ଏଟାର୍ପାଇ କାବା ଉଆନାଇ, ଏନ୍ତି ବେଲା ଆଇଲାନି, ମରିକରି ତପିଅଇଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମର୍ କଁଟ୍ସର୍ ସୁନ୍ବାଇ ।
29 and will come out – those who have done good rising to life, and those who have lived evil lives rising for condemnation.
୨୯ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ସମାଦି ଅନି ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଉଟ୍ବାଇ । କେ କେ ନିକ କାମ୍ କରିଆଚତ୍, ସେମନ୍ ମଲାଟାନେଅନି ଜିବନ୍ ଅଇକରି ଉଟ୍ବାଇ । କାରାପ୍ କାମ୍ କରୁମନ୍ ମିସା ମଲାଟାନେଅନି ଉଟ୍ବାଇ ଆରି ଦସି ବଲାଇଅଇବାଇ ।”
30 I can do nothing of myself; I judge as I am taught; and the judgment that I give is just, because my aim is not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
୩୦ମୁଇ ମର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଅଦିକାରେ କାଇଟା ମିସା କରିନାଇ, ବାବା ମକେ କେନ୍ତି କଇଲା ଆଚେ, ସେନ୍ତିସେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବି । ଆରି ମୁଇ କର୍ବାଟା ଟିକ୍ସେ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମୁଇ ନିଜେ ମନ୍କଲାଟା ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ନାଇ, ମାତର୍ ମକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମନ୍କଲାଟା ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ କଲିନି ।
31 “If I bear testimony to myself, my testimony is not trustworthy;
୩୧ମର୍ ନିଜର୍ ପାଇ ଜଦି ମୁଇ ସାକି ଦେବି, ସେଟା ସତ୍ ବଲି ଦାରା ନ ଜାଏ ।
32 it is another who bears testimony to me, and I know that the testimony which he bears to me is trustworthy.
୩୨ମାତର୍ ମର୍ ପାଇ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ସାକିଦେଲାନି, ଆରି ସେଟା ମୁଇ ଜାନି । ସେ ମର୍ ବିସଇ କାଇଟା ସବୁ କଇଲାନି ସେଟା ସବୁ ସତ୍ସେ ।
33 You have yourselves sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
୩୩ତମେ ଜଅନ୍ ଲଗେ କବର୍ ନେଉମନ୍କେ ପାଟାଇ ରଇଲାସ୍, ଆରି ସେ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ ବିସଇ ସାକି ଦେଲାଆଚେ ।
34 But the testimony which I receive is not from people; I am saying this for your salvation.
୩୪ମର୍ ବିସଇ କେ ମିସା ସାକି ଦେଅତ୍ ବଲି ମୁଇ ମନ୍ କରିନାଇ । ଜେନ୍ତିକି ତମେ ପାପେଅନି ରକିଆ ପାଇସା ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ମୁଇ ଏ ସବୁ କଇଲିନି ।
35 He was the Lamp that was burning and shining, and you were ready to rejoice, for a time, in his light.
୩୫ଜଅନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ବତିପାରା ଲାଗିକରି ଅଲପର୍ ପାଇ ଉଜଲ୍ ଦେଇତେରଇଲା । ଆରି ତମେ ସେ ଉଜଲ୍, ଅଲପ୍ ଦିନର୍ ପାଇ ପାଇକରି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇରଇଲାସ୍ ।
36 But the testimony which I have is of greater weight than John’s; for the work that the Father has given me to carry out – the work that I am doing – is in itself proof that the Father has sent me as his messenger.
୩୬ମାତର୍ ମର୍ଲଗେ, ଜଅନର୍ ତେଇଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ବପୁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ସାକି ଆଚେ । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ଇସାବେ ମୁଇ ଜନ୍ ସବୁ କାମ୍ କଲିନି, ସେଟା ସବୁ ମର୍ ପାଇ ନିକ ସାକି । ସେ ସବୁ କଇଲାନିଜେ, ମକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ପାଟାଇଲା ଆଚେ ବଲି ।
37 The Father who has sent me has himself borne testimony to me. You have neither listened to his voice, not seen his form;
୩୭ଆରି ମକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମିସା ମର୍ ବିସଇ ସାକି ଦେଲାନି । ତମେ କେବେ ମିସା ତାର୍ କଁଟ୍ ସୁନାସ୍ ନାଇ, କି ସେ କେନ୍ତାଟା ଦେକାସ୍ ନାଇ ।
38 and you have not taken his message home to your hearts, because you do not believe him whom he sent as his messenger.
୩୮ଆରି ତାର୍ କାତା ତମର୍ ମନ୍ବିତ୍ରେ ରଏନାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେ ଜାକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ଆଚେ ତାକେ ତମେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରାସ୍ ନାଇ ।
39 You search the scriptures, because you think that you find in them immortal life; and, though it is those scriptures that bear testimony to me, (aiōnios g166)
୩୯ତମେ ଜତନ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାସ୍ତର୍ମନ୍ ପଡି କଜ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । ତେଇଅନି ନ ସାର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇଅଇସି ବଲି ସେ ସବୁ ପଡ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । ସେ ସବୁ ସାସ୍ତର୍ ମର୍ ବିସଇସେ ସାକି ଦେଲାନି । (aiōnios g166)
40 you refuse to come to me to have life.
୪୦ଏଲେମିସା ତମେ ନ ସାର୍ବା ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇବାକେ ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇବାକେ ନିଚ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
41 “I do not receive honor from people,
୪୧“ମୁଇ ମୁନୁସ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କଜି ନାଇ ।
42 but I know this of you, that you have not the love of God in your hearts.
୪୨ମୁଇ ଜାନି, ତମେ କେନ୍ତି ରକାମର୍ ଲକ୍, ତମର୍ ମନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ନାଇ ।
43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
୪୩ମୁଇ ମର୍ ବାବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ପାଇ ଆଇଲିଆଚି । ମାତର୍ ତମେ ମକେ ନାମାସ୍ ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ଜେଡେବେଲା କେ ମିସା ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ ନିଜେ ମନ୍କରି ଆଇଲେ ତାକେ ଡାକିନେଲାସ୍ନି ।
44 How can you believe in me, when you receive honor from one another and do not desire the honor which comes from the only God?
୪୪ତମେ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ପାଇବାକେ ମନ୍କଲାସ୍ନି । ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଆଲାଦ୍ ପାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କରାସ୍ ନାଇ । ସେନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ତମେ କେନ୍ତି ମକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରିପାରାସ୍?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; your accuser is Moses, on whom you have been resting your hopes.
୪୫ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ବିରଦେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ତେଇ ଦସି କର୍ବି ବଲି ତମେ ବାବାନାଇ । ତମେ ଜନ୍ଟା ମସାର୍ ତେଇ ଆସା କରିଆଚାସ୍ ସେ ସେ ତମର୍ ବିରଦେ ଦସି କଲାନି ।
46 For, had you believed Moses, you would have believed me, for it was of me that Moses wrote;
୪୬ଜଦି ତମେ ମସାକେ ସତ୍ବଲି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି ବଇଲେ ମକେ ମିସା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇସା । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ମସା ମର୍ ବିସଇସେ ଲେକିଆଚେ ।
47 but, if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my teaching?”
୪୭ମାତର୍ ସେ ଜନ୍ଟା ଲେକିଆଚେ, ତେଇ ଜଦି ତମର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନାଇ ବଇଲେ, ମୁଇ ଜନ୍ଟା କଇଲିନି, ସେଟା କେନ୍ତି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ସା?”
