John 11
1 Now a man named Lazarus, of Bethany, was lying ill; he belonged to the same village as Mary and her sister Martha.
୧ବେଥ୍ନିଆରେନ୍ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ଲାଜାର୍ ନୁତୁମ୍ ହଡ଼ ଉରିୟୁତେ ଦୁକୁତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ । ମାରିୟାମ୍ ଆଡଃ ଆୟାଃ ମିଶି ମାର୍ଥା ବାରାନ୍କିନ୍ ଏନ୍ ସାହାର୍ରେ ତାଇନ୍ ତାଇନାକିନ୍ ।
2 This Mary, whose brother Lazarus was ill, was the Mary who anointed the Master with perfume, and wiped his feet with her hair.
୨ଅକନ୍ କୁଡ଼ିଚି ପ୍ରାଭୁଆଃ କାଟାରେ ବୁଗିନ୍ ସହାନ୍ ସୁନୁମ୍ ଗସଃକିୟାଏ, ଆଡଃ ଇନିୟାଃ କାଟାକେ ଆୟାଃ ଉବ୍ତେ ଜଦ୍କେଦାଏ, ଇନିଃ ଏନ୍ ମାରିୟାମ୍ ତାନିଃ ଆଡଃ ଆୟାଃ ହାଗାତେ ଲାଜାର୍ ଉରିୟୁତାନାଏ ତାଇକେନାଏ ।
3 The sisters, therefore, sent this message to Jesus – ‘Master, your friend is ill’;
୩ଏନ୍ତେ ଏନ୍ ମିଶିକିନ୍ ୟୀଶୁତାଃତେ କାଜିକୁଲ୍କେଦାଃକିନ୍, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ ନେଲେମେ ଆମ୍ ଦୁଲାଡ଼ିତାନ୍ନିଃ ଉରିୟୁତାନାଏ ।”
4 and, when Jesus heard it, he said, “This illness is not to end in death, but is to redound to the honor of God, in order that the Son of God may be honored through it.”
୪ୟୀଶୁ ନେୟାଁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିକେଦାଃଏ, “ନେ ଦୁକୁ ଲାଜାର୍ଆଃ ଗନଏଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେଦ କାହା, ମେନ୍ଦ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ମାଇନାନ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆଡଃ ଏନାତେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍ ମାଇନାନ୍ନଃକାଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ଏନା ହବାକାନା ।”
5 Jesus loved Martha and her sister, and Lazarus.
୫ୟୀଶୁଦ ମାର୍ଥା ଆଡଃ ଇନିୟାଃ ମିଶିତେ ମାରିୟାମ୍କେ ଆଡଃ ଲାଜାର୍କେ ଦୁଲାଡ଼୍କତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ ।
6 Yet, when he heard of the illness of Lazarus, he still stayed two days in the place where he was.
୬ଲାଜାର୍ ଉରିୟୁତେ ଦୁକୁତାନାଏ ତାଇକେନା ନେୟାଁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ ରେହଁ ୟୀଶୁ ତାଇକେନ୍ ଠାୟାଦ୍ତାଃରେ ଆଡଃ ବାର୍ସିଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାଇନ୍ୟାନାଏ ।
7 Then, after that, he said to his disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”
୭ଏନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟାଃ ଚେଲାକକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଦଲା ଯିହୁଦା ନାଗାର୍ତେବୁ ସେନ୍ରୁହାଡ଼ାଃ ।”
8 “Rabbi,” they replied, “the authorities there were but just now seeking to stone you; and are you going there again?”
୮ଚେଲାକ ୟୀଶୁକେ କାଜିକିୟାଃକ, “ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଚିମିନ୍ ମାହାଁ ସିଦାରେ ଆମ୍କେ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ଦିରି ଚିଦ୍ଗିନାଙ୍ଗ୍କ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାଇକେନା, ହଲେହଁ ଆମ୍କେ ଏନ୍ତାଃତେ ଆଡଃଗି ସେନଃ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ମେଁ ତାନା?”
9 “Are not there twelve hours in the day?” answered Jesus. “If someone walks about in the daytime, they don’t stumble, because they can see the light of the sun;
୯ୟୀଶୁ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼ାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ସିଙ୍ଗିସାଟୁବ୍ରେ ବାରା ଘାଣ୍ଟା ବାନଆଃଚି? ଜେତାଏ ସିଙ୍ଗିମାସ୍କାଲ୍ରେ ସେସେନ୍ରେଦ କାଏ ତହଦଃଆ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିଃ ନେ ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ରାଃ ମାସ୍କାଲ୍କେ ନେଲାଏଃ ।
10 but, if they walk about at night, they stumble, because they have not the light.”
୧୦ମେନ୍ଦ ଜେତାଏ ନିଦାରେ ସେସେନ୍ରେଦ ଇନିଃ ତହଦଃଆଏ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିୟାଃ ମାର୍ସାଲ୍ ବାନଆଃ ।”
11 And, when he had said this, he added, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going so that I may wake him.”
୧୧ନେୟାଁ କାଜିକେଦ୍ ତାୟମ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟାଃ ଚେଲାକକେ ଆଡଃଗି ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆବୁଆଃ ଗାତି ଲାଜାର୍ ଦୁଡ଼ୁମାକାନାଏ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇନିଃକେ ଏୟନ୍ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ସେନ୍ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
12 “If he has fallen asleep, Master, he will get well,” said the disciples.
୧୨ଚେଲାକ ୟୀଶୁକେ କାଜିକିୟାଃକ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଇନିଃ ଦୁଡ଼ୁମାକାନ୍ରେଦ ବୁଗିୟଃଆଏ ।”
13 But Jesus meant that he was dead; they, however, supposed that he was speaking of natural sleep.
୧୩ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟାଃ ଗନଏଃ ବିଷାଏରେ କାଜିକେଦାଏ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଚେଲାକ ସାର୍ତିଗି ଦୁଡ଼ୁମ୍ତାନାଏ ମେନ୍ତେକ ଆଟ୍କାର୍କେଦାଃ ।
14 Then he said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead;
୧୪ଏନାତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଇନ୍କୁକେ “ଲାଜାର୍ ଗଏଃୟାନାଏ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ ।
15 and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may learn to believe in me. But let us go to him.”
୧୫ଆଡଃ ଆପେୟାଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏନ୍ତାଃରେ କା ତାଇନ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ରାସ୍କାଅଃ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଜେ'ଲେକା ଆପେ ପାତିୟାରେୟାପେ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଦଲା ଇନିଃକେ ନେଲ୍ତେବୁ ସେନା ।”
16 At this, Thomas, who was called ‘The Twin,’ said to his fellow disciples, “Let us go too, so that we may die with him.”
୧୬ଏନ୍ତେ ଦିଦୁମ୍ କାଜିୟଃତାନ୍ ଥୋମା ଆୟାଃ ଗାତିକକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଦଲାବୁ ସବେନ୍କ ଗୁରୁଲଃ ସେନାବୁ ଆଡଃ ଆବୁହଗି ଇନିଃଲଃବୁ ଗଜଃଆ ।”
17 When Jesus reached the place, he found that Lazarus had been four days in the tomb already.
୧୭ଏନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ସେଟେର୍କେଦ୍ତେ, “ଲାଜାର୍କେ ତପାଗାଡ଼ାରେ ତପାତେୟାଃ ଚାର୍ଦିନ୍ ହବାଃଅତାନା” ମେନ୍ତେ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦାଃଏ ।
18 Bethany being only about two miles from Jerusalem,
୧୮ବେଥ୍ନିଆ ଯୀରୁଶାଲେମ୍ଏତେ ତିନ୍ କିଲୋମିଟର୍ଏତେହ କାମ୍ତିସାଙ୍ଗିନ୍ରେ ତାଇକେନା ।
19 a number of the people had come there to comfort Martha and Mary because of their brother’s death.
୧୯ଆଡଃ ପୁରାଃ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ମାର୍ଥା ଆଡଃ ମାରିୟାମ୍ଆଃ ହାଗା ଲାଜାର୍ ବିଷାଏରେ ଇନ୍କିନ୍କେ ଜୀଉରାଡ଼େଃ ଏମଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେକ ହିଜୁଃକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା ।
20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him; but Mary sat quietly at home.
୨୦ଏନ୍ତେ ମାର୍ଥା ୟୀଶୁ ହିଜୁଃତାନାଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ଚି ଇନିଃକେ ସେନ୍ଦାରମ୍କିୟାଏ, ମେନ୍ଦ ମାରିୟାମ୍ ଅଡ଼ାଃରେଗି ଦୁବାକାନାଏ ତାଇକେନା ।
21 “Master,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
୨୧ଆଡଃ ମାର୍ଥା ୟୀଶୁକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଆମ୍ ନେତାଃରେମ୍ ତାଇକାନ୍ରେଦ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ହାଗାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଏ ଗଜାକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ।
22 Even now, I know that God will grant you whatever you ask him.”
୨୨ମେନ୍ଦ ଆମ୍ ନାହାଁଃ ହଁ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ ଆସିତେୟାଃ ସବେନାଃ ଏମାମେୟାଏ, ଏନା ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
23 “Your brother will rise to life,” said Jesus.
୨୩ୟୀଶୁ ମାର୍ଥାକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହାଗାମ୍ ତାମାଃ ଜୀଉ ନାମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଆଡଃଗି ବିରିଦାଃଏ ।”
24 “I know that he will,” replied Martha, “in the resurrection at the Last day.”
୨୪ମାର୍ଥା ଇନିଃକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ଇନିଃ ଟୁଣ୍ଡୁ ଦିପିଲିରେ ଜୀଉବିନିରିଦ୍ରେୟାଃ ନେଡାରେ ଜୀଉବିରିଦାଃଏ, ଏନା ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
25 “I am the resurrection and the life,” said Jesus. “He who believes in me will live, though he die;
୨୫ୟୀଶୁ ଇନିଃକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ଜୀଉବିନିରିଦ୍ ଆଡଃ ଜୀଦାନ୍ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ଗି ତାନିଙ୍ଗ୍, ଜେତାଏ ଆଇଁୟାଃରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେତାନ୍ନିଃ ଗଜଃରେୟ ଜୀଉଦଃଆଏ ।
୨୬ଆଡଃ ଜେତାଏ ଜୀହୁଦଃତାନ୍ନିଃ ଆଡଃ ଆଇଁୟାଃରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେତାନ୍ନିଃ ଚିଉଲାଅ କାଏ ଗଜଃଆ, ନେଆଁଁ ଚିନାଃ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେତାନାମ୍?” (aiōn g165)
27 “Yes Master,” she answered. “I have learned to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.”
୨୭ଇନିଃ ୟୀଶୁକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଅତେଦିଶୁମ୍ତେ ଅକଏୟାଃ ହିଜୁଃରାଃ ତାଇନ୍କେନା, ଇନିଃ ଆମ୍ଗି ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ହନ୍ ମାସି ତାନ୍ମେଁ ନେୟାଁ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେତାନା ।”
28 After saying this, Martha went and called her sister Mary, and whispered, “The teacher is here, and is asking for you.”
୨୮ନେୟାଁ କାଜିକେଦ୍ଚି, ମାର୍ଥା ଆୟାଃ ମିଶିତେ ମାରିୟାମ୍କେ ଉକୁକେଦ୍ତେ କେଡ଼ାକିୟାଏ, ଆଡଃ ମେତାଇୟାଏ, “ଗୁରୁ ହିଜୁଃୟାନାଏ ଆଡଃ ଆମ୍କେ କେଡ଼ାମ୍ତାନାଏ ।”
29 As soon as Mary heard that, she got up quickly, and went to meet him.
୨୯ଇନିଃ ନେୟାଁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ଚି, ବିରିଦ୍ ଧାବ୍ୟାନାଏ ଆଡଃ ୟୀଶୁତାଃତେ ସେନଃୟାନାଏ ।
30 Jesus had not then come into the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him.
୩୦ୟୀଶୁ ଇମ୍ତା ଜାକେଦ୍ ହାତୁତେ କାଏ ତେବାଃକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା, ମେନ୍ଦ ମାର୍ଥା ଦାରମ୍ ଠାୟାଦ୍ତାଃରେଗି ଇନିଃ ତାଇକେନାଏ ।
31 So the people, who were in the house with Mary, comforting her, when they saw her get up quickly and go out, followed her, thinking that she was going to the tomb to weep there.
୩୧ଏନ୍ତେ ଜୀଉରାଡ଼େଃ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଅକନ୍ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ଅଡ଼ାଃରେ ମାରିୟାମ୍ଲଃ ତାଇକେନାକ, ଇନ୍କୁ ମାରିୟାମ୍କେ ଇମ୍ତାଗି ବିରିଦ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ବାହାରି ଅଡଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନ୍ ନେଲ୍କିଃତେ ଇନିଃ ରାଆଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ତପାଗାଡ଼ାତେ ସେନଃତାନାଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଟ୍କାର୍ତାନ୍ଲଃ ଇନିୟାଃ ଦୟା ଦୟାକ ଅତଙ୍ଗ୍କିୟା ।
32 When Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she threw herself at his feet. “Master,” she exclaimed, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died!”
୩୨ଏନ୍ତେ ମାରିୟାମ୍ ୟୀଶୁ ତାଇକେନ୍ତାଃ ତେବାଃୟାନ୍ଚି, ଇନିଃ ୟୀଶୁକେ ନେଲ୍ତାଇଲଃଗି ଇନିୟାଃ କାଟା ସୁବାରେ ଉୟୁଃୟାନାଏ ଆଡଃ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଆମ୍ ନେତାଃରେମ୍ ତାଇନ୍କାନ୍ରେଦ ହାଗାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାଇୟାଃଁ କାଏ ଗଜାକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ।”
33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the people who had come with her weeping also, he groaned deeply, and was greatly distressed.
୩୩ୟୀଶୁ ଇନିଃ ରାଆଃତାନ୍ ଆଡଃ ଇନିଃଲଃ ହିଜୁଃକାନ୍ ଯିହୁଦୀକକେହ ରାଆଃତାନ୍ ନେଲ୍କେଦ୍ତେ, ପୁରାଃ ଦୁକୁତେ ଆତ୍ମାରେ ବିଲ୍କାଅୟାନାଏ ।
34 “Where have you buried him?” he asked. “Come and see, Master,” they answered.
୩୪ଆଡଃ କୁଲିକେଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଅକ୍ତାଃରେପେ ତପାକିୟା?” ଇନ୍କୁ କାଜିରୁହାଡ଼୍କିୟାଃକ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ଏଲା ହିଜୁଃକେଦ୍ତେ ନେଲିମେ ।”
35 Jesus burst into tears.
୩୫ୟୀଶୁ ରାଆଃକେଦାଏ ।
36 “How he must have loved him!” the people exclaimed;
୩୬ଏନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦୀକ କାଜିକେଦାଃକ, “ନେଲିପେ, ୟୀଶୁ ଲାଜାର୍କେ ଚିମିନ୍ ଦୁଲାଡ଼ି ତାଇକେନାଏ ।”
37 but some of them said, “Could not this man, who gave sight to the blind man, have also prevented Lazarus from dying?”
୩୭ମେନ୍ଦ ଇନ୍କୁଏତେ ଚିମିନ୍କ କାଜିକେଦା, “ଇନିଃ ଏନ୍ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ ହଡ଼କେ କାଏ ନେଲ୍ରିକାକିୟାଚି? ଚିନାଃ ଇନିଃ ଲାଜାର୍ରାଃ ଗନଏଃ କାଏ ରକାଅଦାଡ଼ିତେୟାଃ?”
38 Again groaning inwardly, Jesus came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against the mouth of it.
୩୮ଏନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଆଡଃମିସା ଆୟାଃ ମନ୍ରେ ପୁରାଃ ଖିସ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ତପା ଠାୟାଦ୍ତେ ସେନଃୟାନାଏ, ଏନା ମିଆଁଦ୍ ଲାପାଙ୍ଗା ତାଇକେନା, ଆଡଃ ଏନାରେୟାଃ ଦୁଆର୍ତାଃ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ଦିରି ତାଇକେନା ।
39 “Move the stone away,” said Jesus. “Master,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time the smell must be offensive, for this is the fourth day since his death.”
୩୯ୟୀଶୁ “ଦିରିକେ ବାଟିଆତମେପେ” ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଚୁକେଦ୍କଆ । ଏନ୍ତେ ଗଜାକାନ୍ନିୟାଃ ମିଶିତେ ମାର୍ଥା କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ନାହାଁଃଦ ଇନିଃ ସହାନ୍କାତେୟଃଆଏ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିଃ ଗଜାକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ଚାର୍ଦିନ୍ ହବାଅଃତାନା ।”
40 “Didn’t I tell you,” replied Jesus, “that, if you would believe in me, you should see the glory of God?”
୪୦ୟୀଶୁ ମାର୍ଥାକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ଆମ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେରେଦ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ମାନାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ନେଲେୟାମ୍, ଚିୟାଃ ନେୟାଁ କାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଜିକାମ୍ତାଇନା?”
41 So they moved the stone away; and Jesus, with uplifted eyes, said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard my prayer.
୪୧ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ଦିରିକେ ବାଟି ଆତମ୍କେଦାଃକ । ଆଡଃ ୟୀଶୁ ସାଙ୍ଗିଲ୍ ରାକାବ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିକେଦାଃଏ, “ହେ ଆବା, ଆମ୍ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ବିନ୍ତି ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦାମ୍ ମେନ୍ତେ ଧାନ୍ୟାବାଦ୍ ଏମାମ୍ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।
42 I know that you always hear me; but I say this for the sake of the people standing near, so that they may believe that you have sent me as your messenger.”
୪୨ଆମ୍ ଆଇଁୟାଃ ବିନ୍ତି ସବେନ୍ଇମ୍ତା ଆୟୁମାଃମ୍, ଏନା ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରିୟାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ମେନ୍ଦ ନେ ଚାରିୟସାଃରେ ତିଙ୍ଗୁଆକାନ୍ ଗାଦେଲ୍ ହଡ଼କ ଆମ୍ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍କେ କୁଲାକାଦିୟାଁମ୍ ମେନ୍ତେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ନେୟାଁ କାଜିକେଦାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।”
43 Then, after saying this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus! Come out!”
୪୩ଇନିଃ ନେୟାଁ କାଜିକେଦ୍ଚି, କାଉରିକେଦ୍ତେ ହାକାଅକିୟାଏ, “ଏ ଲାଜାର୍, ଅଡଙ୍ଗ୍ଅଃମେ ।”
44 The dead man came out, wrapped hand and foot in a winding-sheet; his face, too, had been wrapped in a cloth. “Set him free,” said Jesus, “and let him go.”
୪୪ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ଅଡଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାନା, ଆୟାଃ ତିଃଇ କାଟା ଲିଜାଃତେ ତଲାକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା ଆଡଃ ଇନିୟାଃ ମେଦ୍ମୁହାଁଡ଼୍ ଗାମ୍ଛାତେ ତଲ୍ ବିୟୁରାକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା । ୟୀଶୁ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଇନିଃକେ ତଲାକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ରାଡ଼ାଇପେ ଆଡଃ ସେନ୍ଇଚିଃପେ ।”
45 In consequence of this, many of the people, who had come to visit Mary and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him.
୪୫ମାରିୟାମ୍ତାଃ ହିଜୁଃଲେନ୍ ପୁରାଃ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ୟୀଶୁ କାମିକେଦ୍ତେୟାଃ ନେଲ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଇନିଃରେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ୍କେଦାଃ ।
46 Some of them, however, went to the Pharisees, and told them what he had done.
୪୬ମେନ୍ଦ ଇନ୍କୁଏତେ ଚିମିନ୍କ ଫାରୁଶୀକତାଃ ସେନ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ କାମିକେଦ୍ତେୟାଃ ଉଦୁବାଦ୍କଆକ ।
47 The chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the High Council, and said, “What are we to do, now that this man is giving so many signs?
୪୭ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ମୁଲ୍ ଯାଜାକ୍କ ଆଡଃ ଫାରୁଶୀକ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ପାଞ୍ଚେଟ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିକେଦାଃକ, “ଆବୁ ଚିନାଃବୁ ଚିକାତାନା? ନେଲିପେ, ଏନ୍ ହଡ଼ଦ ପୁରାଃ ପେଡ଼େୟାନ୍ କାମିକ କାମିତାନାଏ ।
48 If we allow him to continue as we are doing, everyone will believe in him; and the Romans will come and will take from us both our Temple and our nation.”
୪୮ଆବୁ ଇନିଃକେ ନେ ଲେକାଗିବୁ ବାଗିତାଇରେଦ ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ଇନିଃରେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସେୟା, ଆଡଃ ରୋମିରେନ୍କ ହିଜୁଃକେଦ୍ତେ ଆବୁଆଃ ମାନ୍ଦିର୍ ଆଡଃ ଦିଶୁମ୍ ବାର୍ନାଃକେକ ରେଃକ୍ ଇଦିୟା ।”
49 One of them, however, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them,
୪୯ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁଏତେ ମିଆଁଦ୍ କାୟଫା ନୁତୁମ୍ ହଡ଼, ଏନ୍ ବାରାଷ୍ରେନ୍ ସାଲାକାନ୍ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଯାଜାକ୍ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ଆପେ ସବେନ୍ ଚିମିନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡକ ତାନ୍ପେ,
50 “You are utterly mistaken. You do not consider that it is better for you that one person should die for the people, rather than the whole nation should be destroyed.”
୫୦ହଡ଼କ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ମିହୁଡ଼୍ଗି ଗଜଃକାଏ ଆଡଃ ଗଟା ଜାତି ଆଲକାକ ଜିୟନଃକା ଏନା ଆପେୟାଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ପୁରାଃଗି ବୁଗିନାଃ ମେନ୍ତେ କାପେ ଆଟ୍କାରେତାନା ।”
51 Now he did not say this of his own accord; but, as high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was to die for the nation –
୫୧କାୟଫା ନେ କାଜିଦ ଆଇଃକ୍ତେଗି କାଏ କାଜି, ମେନ୍ଦ ଏନ୍ ବାରାଷ୍ରେନ୍ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଯାଜାକ୍ ତାଇନ୍ହରାତେ, ୟୀଶୁ ଏନ୍ ଜାତିକ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଗଜଃଆଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ନେ ଆୟାର୍କାଜିକ କାଜିକେଦାଃଏ ।
52 And not for the nation only, but also that he might unite in one body the children of God now scattered far and wide.
୫୨ଆଡଃ ଏନ୍ ଜାତିକ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଏସ୍କାର୍ କାହା ମେନ୍ଦ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ନେତେ ହେନ୍ତେୟାକାନ୍ ହଡ଼କକେ ମିଦ୍ରେ ହୁଣ୍ଡିକ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ କାଜିକେଦାଃଏ ।
53 So from that day they plotted to put Jesus to death.
୫୩ଏନ୍ହୁଲାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାଃଏତେ ୟୀଶୁକେ ଗଜି ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଯିହୁଦୀକ ଆକରେକ ରୋଜୋଟକେଦାଃ ।
54 In consequence of this, Jesus did not go about publicly among the people any more, but left and went into the country bordering on the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.
୫୪ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଯିହୁଦୀକଆଃ ନେପେଲ୍ରେ ଆଡଃ କାଏ ହନର୍କେଦାଃ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଏନ୍ତାଃ ବାଗିକେଦ୍ତେ ବିର୍ରେୟାଃ ନାଡ଼େଃ ଦିଶୁମ୍ ଇଫ୍ରାଇମ୍ ନୁତୁମ୍ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ସାହାର୍ତେ ସେନଃୟାନାଏ, ଆଡଃ ଆୟାଃ ଚେଲାକଲଃ ଏନ୍ତାଃରେ ତାଇନ୍ୟାନାଏ ।
55 But the Jewish Festival of the Passover was near; and many people had gone up from the country to Jerusalem, for their purification, before the Festival began.
୫୫ଯିହୁଦୀକଆଃ ପାସ୍କା ପାରାବ୍ ନାଡ଼େୟାକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା, ପାରାବ୍ ସିଦାରେ ପୁରାଃ ହଡ଼କ ଆକଆଃ ଫାର୍ଚିୟଃ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଦିଶୁମ୍କଏତେ ଯୀରୁଶାଲେମ୍ତେକ ସେନଃୟାନା ।
56 So they looked for Jesus there, and said to one another, as they stood in the Temple Courts, “What do you think? Do you think he will come to the Festival?”
୫୬ଏନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁ ୟୀଶୁକେ ଦାଣାଁଁବାଡ଼ାତାନ୍ଲଃ ମାନ୍ଦିର୍ ଅଡ଼ାଃରେ ତିଙ୍ଗୁଆକାନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା ଆକ ଆକଗିକ କୁପୁଲିୟାନା, “ଆପେ ଚିନାଃପେ ଉଡ଼ୁଃତାନା? ଚିୟାଃ ଇନିଃ ପାରାବ୍ରେ କାଏ ହିଜୁଃଆ?”
57 The chief priests and the Pharisees had already issued orders that, if anyone learned where Jesus was, he should give information, so that they might arrest him.
୫୭ମୁଲ୍ ଯାଜାକ୍କ ଆଡଃ ଫାରୁଶୀକ ୟୀଶୁକେ ସାବି ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ କତାଃରିୟା, ଏନା ଜେତାଏ ସାରିରେଦ ଉଦୁବାଲେପେ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଚୁକାଦ୍ ତାଇକେନାକ ।
