Hosea 10
1 A luxuriant vine is Israel. He bore fruit lavishly. In proportion to the increase of his fruit he increased altars to idols. In proportion to the beauty of his land he made beautiful the sacred pillars.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಹರಡುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಅವನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಫಲಫಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತನ್ನ ಬಹಳ ಫಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಂದವಾದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 Their heart is false, now they must be punished. God himself will break the necks of their altars, he will destroy their sacred pillars.
ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ವಂಚಕವಾದದ್ದು. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಬೇಕು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ, ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವರು.
3 Yes, soon they will be saying, “We have no king, for we have not revered the Lord, and a king, what could he do for us anyway?”
ಆಗ ಅವರು, “ನಮಗೆ ಅರಸನಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿ ಇಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲ. ಅರಸನು ನಮಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವನು?” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 Speaking words, perjuring themselves, making agreements, and litigation springs up like a poisonous weed in a plowed field.
ಅವರು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ವಿಷದ ಕಳೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಲದ ಸಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
5 The inhabitants of Samaria will tremble with fear for their calf of Beth-aven. Its people will mourn over it, and so will its priests, who had rejoiced for its glory, now departed from it.
ಬೇತಾವೆನಿನ ಬಸವ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಭಯಪಡುವರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಿದ ಜನರು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾಡುವರು. ಅದರ ಯಾಜಕರು ನಡುಗುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದರ ವೈಭವವು ಅದರಿಂದ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಯಿತು.
6 It will be carried off to Assyria as a present to the patron king. Disgrace will Ephraim bear and Israel will be ashamed of its idol.
ಅದು ಸಹ, ಮಹಾರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯಲಾಗುವುದು. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸಹ ತನ್ನ ಸಲಹೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
7 As for Samaria, her king will disappear, like foam on the face of the waters.
ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಹಾಗು ಅದರ ಅರಸನು ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಡ್ಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುವನು.
8 And the high places of Aven will be destroyed, the shrines of Israel’s sin, thorns and thistles will grow on their altars, and they will say to the mountains, “Cover us,” and to the hills, “Fall upon us.”
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾದ ಆವೆನಿನ ಉನ್ನತ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುವು. ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳೂ, ಕಳೆಗಳೂ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವುವು. ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಿರಿ! ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ!” ಎನ್ನುವರು.
9 From the time of Gibeah, Israel has sinned. There they took their stand. Will not war overtake them in Gibeah because of the wicked?
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ ನೀನು ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿರುವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 When I please, I will punish them. Nations will gather against them to chain them for their double crimes.
ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು. ಅವರ ಇಮ್ಮಡಿ ಅಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಶಾಸ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದು, ಆಗ ಇತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡುವುವು.
11 Ephraim indeed was a trained heifer that loved to thresh grain, and I myself laid a yoke upon his fair neck, I made Ephraim draw and Judah must plow, Jacob must turn the soil for himself.
ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಒಂದು ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಕಡಸಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದು ತುಳಿಯುವುದನ್ನು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅದರ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೂದ ಉಳುವನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯುವನು.
12 Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruits of love. Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, so righteousness may come to you.
ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನೀತಿಯ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿರಿ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯಿರಿ. ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುಬಿದ್ದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಸಮಯ ಇದೇ.
13 But you have plowed wickedness, iniquity have you reaped. You have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own path, in the multitude of your warriors,
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದಿರಿ, ವಂಚನೆಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶೂರರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭರವಸೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
14 the alarm of war will sound in your cities and all your fortresses will be ruined, as Shalman laid in ruins Beth-arbel in the day of battle, when mothers were dashed to pieces over their children.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಭೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು. ಶಲ್ಮಾನ ರಾಜನು ಬೇತ್ ಅರ್ಬೇಲನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶವಾಗುವವು. ತಾಯಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಹಿತ ಬಂಡೆಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದ
15 Thus will I do to you, Bethel, because of the enormity of your wickedness. When dawn breaks, so will the king of Israel be broken.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಬಹಳ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು. ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು.
