Ephesians 1
1 To Christ’s people at Ephesus who are faithful to him, from Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the will of God.
ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾದ ಪೌಲನು, ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಿಗೂ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು:
2 May God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and give you peace.
ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
3 Blessed is the God and Father of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who has blessed us on high with every spiritual blessing, in Christ.
ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ದೇವರೂ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ, ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 For he chose us in our union with Christ before the creation of the universe, so that we might be holy and blameless in his sight, living in the spirit of love.
ನಾವು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಲೋಕದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
5 From the first he destined us, in his goodwill towards us, to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ,
ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ತದ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.
6 and so to enhance that glorious manifestation of his loving kindness which he gave us in the one he loves;
ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃಪಾ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ತಾವು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 for in him, and through the shedding of his blood, we have found redemption in the pardon of our offenses.
ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅವರ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯಾಗಿ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯಾಯಿತು.
8 All this accords with the loving kindness which God lavished on us, accompanied by countless gifts of wisdom and discernment,
ದೇವರು ಆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿವೇಕಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ
9 when he made known to us his hidden purpose. And it also accords with the goodwill which God purposed to exhibit in Christ,
ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ತದ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದರು,
10 in view of that divine order which was to mark the completion of the ages, when he should make everything, both in heaven and on earth, center in him.
ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯವೋ ಭೂಪರಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಾಗ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿದೆ.
11 In him, I say, for by our union with him we became God’s heritage, having from the first been destined for this in the intention of him who, in all that happens, is carrying out his own fixed purpose;
ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಅವರ ಉದ್ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೊದಲೇ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
12 that we should enhance his glory – we who have been the first to rest our hopes on the Christ.
ಇದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾದ ನಾವು ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಸ್ತುತಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.
13 And you, too, by your union with him, after you had heard the message of the truth, the good news of your salvation – you believed in him and were sealed as his by receiving the holy Spirit, which he had promised.
ನೀವು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಸತ್ಯವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ವಾಗ್ದಾನದ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದ ಮುದ್ರೆಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
14 And the Spirit is a pledge of our future heritage, foreshadowing the full redemption of God’s own people – to enhance his glory.
ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಾದ ನಾವು ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯಾಗುವ ತನಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯ ವಾರಸುತನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವೆವು ಎಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ ನಮಗೆ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸೋಣ.
15 And therefore I, ever since I heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which prevails among you, and of your confidence in all Christ’s people,
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಹ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳಿ,
16 have never omitted to thank God on your behalf, whenever I make mention of you in my prayers.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಎಡಬಿಡದೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
17 My prayer is that the God of Jesus Christ our Lord, the all-glorious Father, may inspire you with wisdom and true insight through a fuller knowledge of himself;
ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ದೇವರೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ತಂದೆಯಾದವರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
18 that your minds may be so enlightened that you may realize the hope given by God’s call, the wealth of the glory of his heritage among Christ’s people,
ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೋನೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಕರೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗಿರುವ ವಾರಸುತನದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
19 and the transcendent greatness of the power which he is able to exercise in dealing with us who believe in him.
ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಂಬುವವರಾದ ನಮಗಾಗಿರುವ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗದ ದೇವರ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
20 The same mighty power was exerted on the Christ, when he raised the Christ from the dead and ‘caused him to sit at his right hand’ on high, exalting him above all angels and archangels of every rank,
ಈ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ,
21 and above every name that can be named, whether in the present age, or in the age to come. (aiōn g165)
ಸಕಲ ರಾಜತ್ವ, ಅಧಿಕಾರ, ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಬರುವ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ, ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. (aiōn g165)
22 And God placed all things under Christ’s feet, and gave him to the church as its supreme head;
ದೇವರು ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸಾಗಿರಲು ಸಭೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
23 for the church is Christ’s body, and is filled by him who fills all things everywhere with his presence.
ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತುಂಬಿಸುವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದೇಹವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
