2 Peter 1
1 To those to whom, through the justice of our God and Savior Jesus Christ, there has been granted faith equally privileged with our own, from Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ.
୧ମୁଇ ସିମନ୍ ପିତର୍, ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡା ଆରି ପେରିତ୍ ଅଇଆଚି । ଆମେ ଜେନ୍ତି ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରିଆଚୁ, ସେନ୍ତାରି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଏ ଚିଟି ଲେକ୍ଲିନି । ସେ ଆମର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଆରି ମୁକ୍ତିକାରିଆ । ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ସେ ଆକା ଆମ୍କେ ବପୁଦେଲାଆଚେ । ସେ କର୍ବା ସବୁ କାମ୍ ଟିକ୍ ଆରି କାଇ ଅନିଆଇ ନାଇ । ।
2 May blessing and peace be yours in ever increasing measure, as you advance in the knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord.
୨ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଆରି ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟକେ ତମେ ଜାନ୍ଲାର୍ ପାଇ ତାର୍ ସାନ୍ତି ଆରି ସେ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁକାଇ ଦୟା କଲାଟା ତମ୍କେ ମିଲ ।
3 For his divine power has given us everything that is needful for a life of piety, as we advance in the knowledge of him who called us by a glorious manifestation of his goodness.
୩ତାକେ ସାର୍ଦା କରାଇଲାପାରା ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଲଡାକେ ଆଇବା ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଦେଲାଆଚେ । ତାର୍ ବପୁର୍ଲାଗି ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଏଟା ଦେଲାଆଚେ ଆରି ଆମେ ତାକେ ଜାନ୍ଲାର୍ପାଇ ମିସା । ତାର୍ ମଇମାଇ ଆରି ଦରମେ ମିସ୍ବାକେ ସେ ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଡାକିଆଚେ ।
4 For it was through this that he gave us what we prize as the greatest of his promises, that through them you might participate in the divine nature, now that you have fled from the corruption in the world, resulting from human passions.
୪ତାର୍ ମଇମା ଆରି ଦରମର୍ ଲାଗି ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ବେସି ବଡ୍ ଆରି ବେସି ମୁଲିଅ ରଇବା ଦାନ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ । କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ନ କଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜେନ୍ତିକି କାରାପ୍ ବିସଇ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ବାଇ, ସେନ୍ତାରି ମନ୍କର୍ବା ଟାନେଅନି ମୁକ୍ଲାଇବାକେ ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଏନ୍ତାରି କଲାଆଚେ । ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତାକର୍ ମନ୍କେ ନସାଇସି । ମାତର୍ ତମେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ପାରା ଦରମ୍ ଅଇପାର୍ସା ।
5 Yes, and for this reason do your best to supplement your faith by goodness, goodness by knowledge,
୫ତେବେ କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାର୍ ପାଇ ନିକ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କରା । ଏଟାର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍, ଗିଆନ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜିଉନାକାଉନା କର୍ବାକେ,
6 knowledge by self-control, self-control by endurance, endurance by piety,
୬ଜିଉନାକାଉନା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ନିଜେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ୍ ଅଇରଇବାକେ, ଜାଗ୍ରତ୍ ରଇକରି ମୁର୍ଚି ରଇବାକେ, ମୁର୍ଚିକରି ରଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା କର୍ବା ଗୁନ୍ଚଲନ୍ କର୍ବାକେ,
7 piety by mutual affection, and mutual affection by love.
୭ଗୁନ୍ଚଲନ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାଇବଇନିକେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାକେ, ବାଇବଇନିକେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରି ସବୁଲକ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କରା ।
8 For, when these virtues are yours, in increasing measure, they prevent your being indifferent to, or destitute of, a fuller knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
୮ତମର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ଜଦି ଏନ୍ତାରି ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଇ ଆଇଲେ, ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟକେ ଜାନ୍ବା ବିସଇତେଇ ତମେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ବଡିଆଇସା ।
9 Surely the person who has not these virtues is shortsighted even to blindness, and has chosen to forget that they have been purified from their sins of the past!
୯ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଏନ୍ତାରି ଜିଉନାକାଉନା ନ କଲେ, ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ନିକ ନ ଡିସ୍ବା ଲକର୍ପାରା ଅଇଆଚେ । ସେ ପୁର୍ବେ କରିରଇଲା ପାପର୍ ଲାଗି ପର୍ମେସର୍ କେମା ଦେଲାଆଚେ ବଲି ପାସ୍ରିଦେଇ ଆଚେ ।
10 Therefore, friends, do your best to put God’s call and selection of you beyond all doubt; for, if you do this, you will never fall.
୧୦ତେବର୍ପାଇ ଏ ମର୍ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ନିକ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କର୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କରା । ସେନ୍ତାର୍କଲେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ବାଚିକରି ତାର୍ ଲକ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଡାକ୍ଲାଆଚେବଲି ସବୁଲକ୍କେ ଡିସ୍ସି । ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ କଲେ ତମେ କେବେ ମିସା ତାର୍ତେଇଅନି ବିନ୍ବାଟେ ନ ଜାଆସ୍ ।
11 For in this way you will be given a triumphant admission into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
୧୧ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟର୍ କେବେ ନ ସାର୍ବା ରାଇଜେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତମ୍କେ ସାର୍ଦା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଡାକିନେଇସି । (aiōnios g166)
12 I will, therefore, always be ready to remind you of all this, even though you know it and are firmly established in the truth that you now hold.
୧୨ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତମେ ଜାନିରଇଲେ ମିସା, ଆରି ପାଇଲା ସତ୍ ବିସଇଟାନେ ଡାଟ୍ ଆଚାସ୍ ମିସା, ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତମ୍କେ ଏତାଇଦେଇତେ ରଇବି ।
13 But I think it my duty, as long as I live in this ‘tent,’ to rouse you by awakening memories of the past;
୧୩ମୁଇ ବଁଚିରଇବା ଜାକ ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ କାତା ଅଇବାଟା ନିକ । ଜେନ୍ତିକି ତମେ ସେଟା ଆରି ନ ପାସ୍ରାସ୍ ।
14 for I know that the time for this ‘tent’ of mine to be put away is soon coming, as our Lord Jesus Christ himself assured me.
୧୪ମର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଦାପ୍ରେ ସାରିଜାଇସି ବଲି ମୁଇ ଜାନି । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟ ମକେ ନିକସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନାଇଆଚେ ।
15 So I will do my best to enable you, at any time after my departure, to call these truths to mind.
୧୫ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ତମ୍କେ ଏତାଇଦେବାକେ ମୁଇ ବେସି ଆବଡ୍ ଅଇଲିନି । ଜେନ୍ତାରିକି ମୁଇ ମଲାପଚେ ମିସା ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଏତାଇସା ।
16 For we were not following cleverly devised stories when we told you of the coming in power of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eye-witnesses of his majesty.
୧୬ଆମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟ ତାର୍ ସବୁ ବପୁର୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାଉଡି ଆଇସି ବଲି ତମ୍କେ କଇରଇଲୁ । ସେଟା ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ ତାକର୍ ଚାଲାକିକରି ତିଆର୍କଲା ଗଟେକ୍ କାତାନି ନଏଁ ।
17 For he received honor and glory from God the Father, when from the glory of the Divine Majesty there were borne to his ears words such as these – ‘This is my dearly loved son, who brings me great joy.’
୧୭ଆମେ ନିଜେ ଆଁକିସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାର୍ ମଇମା ଦେକ୍ଲୁ । ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କରି ମଇମା ଦେଲାବେଲେ ଆମେ ତେଇ ରଇଲୁ । ସେ ନିଜେ ସବୁର୍ଟାନେଅନି ମଇମାର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ କଇରଇଲା “ଏଟା ମର୍ ଆଲାଦର୍ ପ, ତାର୍ଟାନେ ମୁଇ ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ।”
18 These were the words that we heard, borne to our ears from heaven, when we were with him on that sacred mountain.
୧୮ସେ ସବଦ୍ ସୁନ୍ଲାବେଲେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ପର୍ବତେ ଆମେ ମିସା କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇଲୁ ।
19 And still stronger is the assurance that we have in the teaching of the prophets; to which you will do well to pay attention (as if it were a lamp shining in a gloomy place), until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
୧୯ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନର୍ କାତା ସତ୍ ଆଚେ ବଲି ଆମେ ଜାନିଆଚୁ । ଏ ସବୁ କାତା ତମେ ମନ୍ଦିଆନ୍ ଦେଇ ସୁନା । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେଟା ଆନ୍ଦାରେ ଲାଗିରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ବତିର୍ ଉଜଲ୍ ପାରା ଆଚେ । ସାକ୍ଲିଆ ଉଜଲ୍ ଡିସ୍ବା ତାରାର୍ପାରା ତମର୍ ମନ୍ବିତ୍ରେ ଉଜଲ୍ ଦେଇସି ।
20 But first be assured of this: There is no prophetic teaching found in scripture that can be interpreted by a person’s unaided reason;
୨୦ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍ କେ ମିସା ନିଜେ ବାବିକରି ସାସ୍ତର୍ଟାନେ ଲେକତ୍ନାଇ । ଏଟା ତମେ ବାଇଦରେ ଜାନ୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
21 for no prophetic teaching ever came in the old days at the mere wish of people, but people, moved by the Holy Spirit, spoke direct from God.
୨୧କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ସେମନ୍ କେବେମିସା ନିଜର୍ତେଇଅନି କାଇ ବବିସତ୍ କାତା କଅତ୍ ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଆଇଲା କାତା ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ସାଇଜ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କଇରଇଲାଇ ।
