2 John 1
1 From the elder, to the lady chosen by God and her children. I truly love you all, and I am not the only one but all who know the truth love you as well.
O ancião á senhora eleita, e a seus filhos, aos quaes amo na verdade, e não sómente eu, mas tambem todos os que teem conhecido a verdade,
Por amor da verdade que está em nós e para sempre estará comnosco: (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be ours – the gift of God, the Father, and of Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son – in truth and love.
Graça, misericordia, paz, da parte de Deus Pae e da do Senhor Jesus Christo, o Filho do Pae, seja comvosco na verdade e caridade.
4 It was a great joy to me to find the lives of some of your children guided by the truth, in obedience to the command that we received from the Father.
Muito me alegrarei por achar que alguns de teus filhos andam na verdade, assim como recebemos o mandamento do Pae.
5 And now I implore you, dear lady, let us love one another This is not a new command I am writing to you. It is the command we have had from the beginning. – Let us love one another.
E agora, senhora, rogo-te, não como escrevendo-te um novo mandamento, mas aquelle que desde o principio tivemos, que nos amemos uns aos outros.
6 And this is love – to live in obedience to the Father’s commands. This is the command as you learned from the beginning, to live a life of love.
E a caridade é esta: que andemos segundo os seus mandamentos. Este é o mandamento, como já desde o principio ouvistes, que n'elle andeis.
7 I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world – men who do not acknowledge that Jesus Christ came in flesh and blood. Any such person is a deceiver and antichrist.
Porque já muitos enganadores entraram no mundo, os quaes não confessam que Jesus Christo veiu em carne. Este tal é o enganador e o anti-christo.
8 Take care so that you do not what we have worked for but instead receive your full reward.
Olhae por vós mesmos, para que não percamos o que já trabalhámos, antes recebamos o inteiro galardão.
9 Anyone who goes beyond and fails to live inside of the teaching of Christ does not have God. The person who lives inside that teaching – they have both the Father and the Son.
Todo aquelle que prevarica, e não persevera na doutrina de Christo, não tem a Deus: quem persevera na doutrina de Christo, esse tem assim ao Pae como ao Filho.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive them into your house or even welcome them;
Se alguem vem ter comvosco, e não traz esta doutrina, não o recebaes em casa, nem tampouco o saudeis.
11 because the person who welcomes them is sharing with them in his evil work.
Porque quem o sauda tem parte nas suas más obras.
12 Though I have many other things to tell you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come and see you, and to speak with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
Muitas coisas tenho que escrever-vos, porém não quiz com papel e tinta; mas espero ir ter comvosco e fallar de bocca a bocca, para que o nosso gozo seja cumprido.
13 The children of your sister, who is chosen by God, send you their greetings.
Saudam-te os filhos de tua irmã, a eleita. Amen.
