Psalms 60
1 For the leader. On shushan eduth. A michtam of David (for teaching), when he fought with Aram-naharaim and Aram-zobah, and Joab returned and defeated twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. O God, you have spurned and broken us, routing us in your wrath – restore us!
१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, तू आम्हास टाकून दिले आहेस; तू आम्हास फाडून खाली टाकले आहे; आमच्यावर रागावला आहेस; तू आम्हांस पुन्हा पूर्वस्थितीवर आण.
2 You have shaken the land and cleft it; heal its tottering breaches.
२तू भूमी कंपित केली आहेस; तू ती फाडून वेगळी केली; तिचे खिंडार बरे कर, कारण ती हादरत आहे.
3 You have made your people drink hardship, and given us wine of reeling.
३तू तुझ्या लोकांस कठीण गोष्टी दाखवल्या आहेत; तू आम्हास झिंगवण्यास लावणारा द्राक्षरस पाजला आहे.
4 You have given those who fear you a banner, a rallying-place from the bow, (Selah)
४तुझा आदर करणाऱ्यास तू निशाण दिले आहे, यासाठी की, त्यांनी सत्याकरता तो उभारावा.
5 for the rescue of your beloved. Save by your right hand and answer us.
५ज्यांच्यावर तू प्रेम करतो त्यांची सुटका व्हावी, म्हणून तुझ्या उजव्या हाताने आमची सुटका कर आणि आम्हास उत्तर दे.
6 God did solemnly swear: ‘As victor will I divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
६देव आपल्या पवित्रतेला अनुसरून म्हणाला, मी जल्लोष करीन; मी शखेमाची वाटणी करीन आणि सुक्कोथाचे खोरे मोजून देईन.
7 Mine is Gilead, mine is Manasseh, Ephraim is the defence of my head, Judah my sceptre of rule,
७गिलाद माझा आहे आणि मनश्शे माझा आहे; एफ्राईमही माझे शिरस्त्राण आहे; यहूदा माझा राजदंड आहे.
8 Moab the pot that I wash in, Edom – I cast my shoe over it, I shout o’er Philistia in triumph.’
८मवाब माझे धुण्याचे पात्र आहे; अदोमावर मी माझे पादत्राण फेकीन; मी आनंदाने पलिष्ट्यावर विजयाने आरोळी मारीन.
9 O to be brought to the fortified city! O to be led into Edom!
९मला बळकट नगरात कोण नेईल? मला अदोमात कोण नेईल?
10 Have you not spurned us, O God? You do not march forth with our armies.
१०हे देवा, तू आम्हास नाकारले नाही? परंतु तू आमच्या सैन्याबरोबर लढाईत गेला नाहीस.
11 Grant us help from the foe, for human help is worthless.
११तू आमच्या शत्रूविरूद्ध आम्हास मदत कर, कारण मनुष्याचे सहाय्य निष्फळ आहे.
12 With God we shall yet do bravely: he himself will tread down our foes.
१२आम्ही देवाच्या मदतीने विजयी होऊ; तो आमच्या शत्रूला आपल्या पायाखाली तुडविल.
