Psalms 6
1 For the leader; with instrumental music on the sheminith. A psalm of David. Rebuke me not, Lord, in your anger, punish me not in your wrath.
Senhor, não me repreendas na tua ira, nem me castigues no teu furor.
2 Lord, be gracious to me in my weakness. Heal me Lord, for racked is my body;
Tem misericórdia de mim, Senhor, porque sou fraco: sara-me, Senhor, porque os meus ossos estão perturbados.
3 all of me utterly racked. Why do you wait so long, Lord?
Até a minha alma está perturbada; mas tu, Senhor, até quando?
4 Turn, Lord, rescue me; save me, because of your love.
Volta-te, Senhor, livra a minha alma: salva-me por tua benignidade.
Porque na morte não há lembrança de ti; no sepulcro quem te louvará? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am so weary of sighing. All the night I make my bed swim, and wet my couch with my tears.
Já estou cançado do meu gemido, toda a noite faço nadar a minha cama; molho o meu leito com as minhas lágrimas.
7 My eyes swollen with grief; from weeping caused by my foes.
Já os meus olhos estão consumidos pela mágoa, e teem-se envelhecido por causa de todos os meus inimigos.
8 Begone, workers of wrong, for the Lord has heard my loud weeping,
Apartai-vos de mim todos os que obrais a iniquidade; porque o Senhor já ouviu a voz do meu pranto.
9 the Lord has heard my entreaty, the Lord accepts my prayer.
O Senhor já ouviu a minha súplica; o Senhor aceitará a minha oração.
10 My foes will be stricken with terror, brought to shame and dismay in a moment.
Envergonhem-se e perturbem-se todos os meus inimigos; tornem atráz e envergonhem-se num momento.
