< Psalms 37 >
1 Of David. Be not kindled to wrath at the wicked, nor envious of those who work wrong;
KOE der makaraki me sued akan; o der peirinki me kin wia sapung.
2 for, like grass, they will speedily wither, and fade like the green of young grass.
Pwe re pan sorala madang dueta rä, o re pan mongedi dueta tan tuka kan.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; remain in the land, and deal faithfully:
Kaporoporeki Ieowa o wiada me mau, kaukausonta nan sap o, o wiawia me pung.
4 then the Lord will be your delight, he will grant you your heart’s petitions.
Polauleki Ieowa, a pan kotiki ong uk, me mongion om inong iong.
5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act,
Mueid ong Ieowa om wiawia kan o kaporoporeki i, a pan kotin wia mau.
6 making clear as the light your right, and your just cause clear as the noon-day.
A pan kapwareda om wiawia me pung dueta marain, o om tiak pung dueta nin sauas.
7 In silence and patience wait on the Lord. Be not kindled to anger at those who prosper. At those who execute evil devices.
Kaporoporeki Ieowa ap nenenla o auiaui, o koe der makar kida pan me kin pwaida ni a wiawia kan, ol o, me kin kapwaiada me sued.
8 Desist from anger, abandon wrath: be not kindled to anger it leads but to evil:
Muei sang makar o pwilikidi om lingarangar; koe der makar, pwe koe der pil wia me sued.
9 for evildoers will be cut off, but the land will be theirs, who wait on the Lord.
Pwe me sued akan pan kokoka sang, a me liki Ieowa, pan sapaneki sap o.
10 Yet but a little, and the wicked vanish: look at their place: they are there no more.
Ansau takis, ap solar me sapung o, o ma koe men kilang deu a, a solar mia.
11 But the humble will have the land, and the rapture of peace in abundance.
A me opampap akan pan sosoki sap o, o re pan pereperen ki ar kapwa toto.
12 The wicked plots against the righteous, snarls like a wild animal;
Me sapung o kin kamasak me pung o, o ngi tete ong i.
13 the Lord laughs, for he sees that his day is coming.
A Ieowa kotin kiparamateki i, pwe a kotin mangi a ansau.
14 The wicked have drawn the sword, and bent the bow, to fell the poor, to slay those who walk uprightly;
Me sapung kan kin ngape kida kodlas o kaonopada kasik katieu, pwen kasikiedi me luet o samama, o kamela me kekeit wei ni melel.
15 but their sword will pierce their own heart, and their bows will be broken in pieces.
A ar kodlas pan dokodi pein mongiong arail, o ar kasik katieu pan tip pasang.
16 Better is the righteous person’s little than the wealth of many wicked.
Me malaulau en me pung amen, me mau sang dipisou toto en me sapung kan.
17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
Pwe pa en me sapung kan pan tip pasang, a Ieowa pan kotin kolekol me pung kan.
18 The Lord watches over the days of the blameless, their heritage will continue forever.
Ieowa kotin mangier ran en me lelapok kan, o ar dipisou pan duedueta.
19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, in the days of famine they will be satisfied.
Re sota pan namenokala ni ansau apwal, o ni ansaun lek a pan itar ong ir.
20 Because the wicked will perish: but the foes of the Lord, like a brand in the oven, will vanish, like smoke they will vanish.
Pwe me sapung kan pan lokidokila, o imwintiti en Ieowa, ma re rasong sap kaselel eu, re pil pan mokonaidi dueta atiniai.
21 The wicked must borrow and cannot pay back, but the righteous is lavish and gives.
Me sapung kan kin pwaipwand ap sota kapungala, a me pung o kin kadek o kin kisakisa wei.
22 For those blest by the Lord inherit the land, while those whom he curses will be cut off.
Pwe me paie kin i, pan sosoki sap o, a me a kotin karialar akan pan kokoka sang.
23 The Lord supports the steps of those with whom he is pleased.
Ieowa kin kotin katengetenge song en aramas due met ar kakakewei, o a kotin peren kida a wiawia kan.
24 Though they fall, they will not be cast headlong, for the Lord holds their hands.
Ma a pan pupedi, a sota pan lokidokila; pwe Ieowa kotin kolekidi i lim a.
25 Never, from youth to age, have I seen the righteous forsaken, or their children begging bread.
Ngai pulepul ap malar, a i saikenta kilanger me pung amen likidmalielar, de na kan poekipoeki prot.
26 They are ever lavishly lending, and their children are fountains of blessing.
A kin kadek ansau karos o kin men kisakis wei, o na kan pan paida.
27 Turn away from evil and do good and you will live in the land forever.
Muei sang me sued ap wia me mau, koe ap pan mimieta nan sap o.
28 For the Lord loves justice, he does not forsake his friends. The unrighteous will be destroyed forever, and the seed of the wicked will be cut off.
Pwe Ieowa kotin peren kida me pung, o a sota pan kotin likidmaliela sapwilim a saraui kan; re pan nekinek kokolata, a kadaudok en me sapung kan pan kokoka sang.
29 But the land will belong to the righteous, they will live upon it forever,
Me pung kan pan sosoki sap o, ap mimieta kokolata.
30 The mouth of the righteous murmurs wisdom, and words of justice are on their tongues.
Au en me pung amen kin kida me lolekong, o lo a kaparokki me pung.
31 The law of their God is in their heart, their steps are never unsteady.
Masan en a Kot mi nan mongiong i, a sota pan krisedi.
32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to put them to death.
Me sapung kin masamasan me pung, pwen kamela i.
33 But the Lord leaves them not in their hand: at their trial they will not be held guilty.
A Ieowa sota pan kotin mueid ong, en mi nan pa a kan, o a sota pan kotin kasela i, a lao pan pakadeikada.
34 Wait on the Lord, and observe his way: he will lift you to honour the land will be yours, you will feast your eyes on the doom of the wicked.
Auiaui Ieowa o weweid nan a al akan, a ap pan kotin kasapwil uk ada, pwe koe en sosoki sap o; koe pan kilang, me sapung kan pan kokoka sang.
35 I have seen the wicked exultant, lifting themselves like a cedar of Lebanon.
I kilanger me doo sang Kot amen, me katiwo o pwaida o maurada dueta tuka mau pot.
36 But the moment I passed, they vanished! I sought for them, but they could not be found.
A ni at dauli wasa o, kilang, a soer mia; i idok duen i, a a solar kak diarokada.
37 Preserve your honour and practise uprightness, for such a person fares well in the end.
Dadaurata om lelapok, o wiawia me pung; pwe song due met pan pwaida mau ni imwi.
38 But transgressors will perish together. Cut off are the wicked forever.
A me katiwo kan pan wiaki eu lokidokila, o me sapung kan pan koka sang ni imwi.
39 The righteous are saved by the Lord, who in time of distress is their refuge:
A Ieowa kotin sauasa me pung kan, i me kele parail ni ar apwal akan.
40 the Lord helps and rescue them, from the wicked he rescues and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
O Ieowa pan kotin ieiang ir o pan dore ir ala; A pan kotin dore ir ala sang me sapung kan, o a pan sauasa ir, pwe re kin liki i.
