Psalms 116
1 I love the Lord, for he hears my voice, my pleas for mercy.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವನು.
2 For he has inclined his ear to me: I will call upon him as long as I live.
೨ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರುವವರೆಗೂ ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು.
3 About me were snares of death, the anguish of Sheol was upon me: distress and sorrow were mine. (Sheol h7585)
೩ಮರಣಪಾಶಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು; ಪಾತಾಳ ವೇದನೆಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವು. ಚಿಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆನು. (Sheol h7585)
4 Then I called on the name of the Lord: ‘I beseech you, O Lord, deliver me.’
೪ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕೃಪೆಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು.
5 Gracious and just is the Lord, compassionate is our God.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೃಪಾಳುವೂ, ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಕನಿಕರವುಳ್ಳವನು.
6 The Lord preserves the simple; when I was drooping, he saved me.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸರಳ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು; ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
7 Be at peace, my heart, once more, for the Lord has been good to you.
೭ನನ್ನ ಮನವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ನೆಲೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ.
8 You have rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
೮ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ಜೀವಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು,
9 Before the Lord I will walk in the land of the living.
೯ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಎಡವದಂತೆ ಕಾದಿದ್ದೀ.
10 I held fast my faith, though I said, ‘Ah me! I am sore afflicted,’
೧೦“ನಾನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ,
11 though in my alarm I said, ‘Everyone is a liar.’
೧೧“ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರು” ಎಂದು ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ, ಭರವಸವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
12 What shall I render the Lord for all his bounty to me?
೧೨ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord.
೧೩ರಕ್ಷಣಾಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
14 I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು.
15 Grave in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his loyal and loved ones.
೧೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಪವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Ah, Lord! I am your servant, your servant, child of your handmaid. You have loosened my bonds.
೧೬ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕರುಣಿಸು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು; ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಮಗನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.
17 I will offer to you a thank-offering, and call on the name of the Lord.
೧೭ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
18 I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people,
೧೮ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ,
19 in the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
೧೯ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!
