12 And when they were very few, few and but pilgrims therein,
Mgbe ha dị ole na ole nʼọnụọgụgụ, nʼezie ha dị ole na ole, bụrụkwa ọbịa nʼime ya.
13 wandering from nation to nation, journeying from people to people,
Ha wagharịrị site nʼotu mba gaa na mba ọzọ, sitekwa nʼotu alaeze gaa alaeze ọzọ.
14 he allowed no one to oppress them, even punishing kings for their sakes.
O kweghị ka onye ọbụla mekpaa ha ahụ; ọ baara ndị eze mba nʼihi ha;
15 He forbade them to touch his anointed, or do any hurt to his prophets.
sị, “Unu emetụkwala ndị m e tere mmanụ aka; unu emekpakwala ndị amụma m ahụ.”
16 When he called down famine on the land, and cut off the bread which sustained them,

Ha mere ọtụtụ ihe ịrịbama dị iche iche nʼetiti ha, ọrụ ebube ya dị iche iche nʼala Ham.
28 Darkness he sent, and it fell: yet they gave no heed to his word.

32 He gave them hail for rain and fire that flashed through the land,
Nʼọnọdụ mmiri ozuzo, o zitere ha mkpụrụ mmiri na amụma egbe eluigwe nʼala ha niile;
33 smiting their vines and figs, breaking the trees of their border.

34 At his command came locusts, young locusts beyond all counting,
O kwuru okwu, igurube na ụkpana a na-apụghị ịgụta ọnụ jupụtara ebe niile;
35 which ate every herb in the land, ate up, too, the fruit of their ground.

39 He spread out a cloud to screen them, and fire to give light in the night.
Ọ gbasara igwe ojii dịka ihe mkpuchi, na ọkụ na-enye ìhè nʼabalị.
40 He sent quails at their entreaty, and heavenly bread in abundance.
Ha rịọrọ ya, o zitere ha ụmụ nnụnụ kweel, jirikwa achịcha si nʼeluigwe nyejuo ha afọ.
41 He opened the rock; waters gushed: in the desert they ran like a river.
O tiwara nkume ahụ, mmiri sọpụtara; ọ sọgharịrị nʼime ọzara dịka iyi.
42 For he remembered his holy promise to Abraham his servant.
Nʼihi na o chetara nkwa ya dị nsọ, nke o kwere ohu ya Ebraham.
43 So he led out his people with joy, his elect with a ringing cry.
O ji aṅụrị dupụta ndị ya, jirikwa ọnọdụ iti mkpu ọṅụ dupụta ndị ya ọ họpụtara;
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, the fruit of their toil for possession,
