Matthew 24
1 Leaving the Temple Courts, Jesus was walking away, when his disciples came up to draw his attention to the Temple buildings.
၁ယေရှု သည် ဗိမာန် တော်မှ ထွက်ကြွ တော်မူသည်ရှိ သော်၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် ဗိမာန် တော်၏ တိုက်ဆောင် များကို ပြ ခြင်းငှာအထံ တော်သို့ ချဉ်းကပ် ကြ၏။
2 ‘Do you see all these things?’ was his answer. ‘I tell you, not a single stone will be left here on another, which will not be thrown down,’
၂ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ဤ အရာအလုံးစုံ ကို သင် တို့သည်မြင် ကြသည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ မ ဖြို မချဘဲ ကျောက် တစ်ခုပေါ်မှာ တစ်ခုမျှမ တည် မနေရ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
3 so, while Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up to him privately and said, ‘Tell us when this will be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the close of the age.’ (aiōn g165)
၃ထိုနောက် သံလွင် တောင် ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင် တော်မူစဉ်၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် အခြား သူမပါဘဲချဉ်းကပ် ၍၊ ထို အမူအရာတို့သည် အဘယ် ကာလမှ ဖြစ် မည်ကို၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည်ကြွလာ ၍ ဤ ကပ်ကမ္ဘာကုန် သော ပုပ္ပ နိမိတ်သည် အဘယ် နိမိတ်ဖြစ်မည်ကို၎င်း အမိန့် ရှိတော်မူပါဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။ (aiōn g165)
4 Jesus replied to them, ‘See that no one leads you astray;
၄ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ သင် တို့ကို အဘယ်သူ မျှ မ လှည့်ဖြား စေခြင်းငှာသတိပြု ကြလော့။
5 for, many will take my name, and come saying “I am the Christ,” and will lead many astray.
၅အများ သောသူတို့က၊ ငါ သည် ခရစ်တော် ဖြစ် ၏ဟု ဆို လျက်၊ ငါ ၏အယောင် ကိုဆောင် ၍ ပေါ်လာ သဖြင့် လူအများ တို့ကို လှည့်ဖြား ကြလိမ့်မည်။
6 You will hear of wars and rumours of wars; take care not to be alarmed, for such things must occur; but the end is not yet here.
၆သင်တို့သည် စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို၎င်း ၊ စစ်တိုက် အံ့သော သိတင်း စကားကို၎င်း ကြား ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း စိုးရိမ် တုန်လှုပ်ခြင်းမ ရှိ စေခြင်းငှာသတိပြု ကြလော့။ ထိုအမူအရာ များသည်ဖြစ်ရ မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း အဆုံး သည်မ ဖြစ် သေး။
7 For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
၇လူ တစ်မျိုးနှင့်တစ်မျိုးတစ်နိုင်ငံ နှင့်တစ်နိုင်ငံရန်ဘက် ပြုကြလိမ့်မည်။ အရပ်ရပ် တို့၌ အစာ ခေါင်းပါးခြင်း၊ ကာလနာများပြားခြင်း၊ မြေကြီး လှုပ်ခြင်းတို့သည် ဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
8 All this, however, will be but the beginning of the birth pangs!
၈ထို အမူအရာတို့သည် ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲခြင်း၏အစအဦး ပင်ဖြစ်သတည်း။
9 When that time comes, they will give you up to persecution, and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
၉ထို ကာလ၌ လူများတို့သည် သင် တို့ကိုညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်း၊ အသေ သတ်ခြင်းကိုခံစေခြင်းငှာ အပ်နှံ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ ၏နာမ ကြောင့် လည်း ခပ်သိမ်း သောလူမျိုး တို့သည် သင်တို့ကို မုန်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။
10 And then many will fall away, and will betray one another, and hate one another.
၁၀ထို ကာလ၌ အများ သောသူတို့သည် ဖောက်ပြန် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၍၊ အချင်းချင်း တစ်ယောက်ကိုတစ်ယောက် အပ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
11 Many false prophets, also, will appear and lead many astray;
၁၁အချင်းချင်း မုန်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။ မိစ္ဆာ ပရောဖက်အများ တို့သည် ပေါ်လာ ၍ လူအများ တို့ကို လှည့်ဖြား ကြ လိမ့်မည်။
12 and, owing to the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
၁၂မတရား သောအမှုတို့သည်များပြား သဖြင့် အများ သောသူ တို့၏ ချစ် ခြင်းမေတ္တာသည် ခေါင်းပါး လိမ့်မည်။
13 Yet the person who endures to the end will be saved.
၁၃အကြင်သူ သည် အဆုံး တိုင်အောင် တည်ကြည် ၏။ ထိုသူ သည် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။
14 This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world as a witness to all nations; and then will come the end.
၁၄လူမျိုး အပေါင်း တို့အားသက်သေ ဖြစ်မည်အကြောင်း နိုင်ငံ တော်နှင့်ယှဉ်သော ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို လောကီ နိုင်ငံအရပ်ရပ်ရှိသမျှ တို့၌ ဟော ရလိမ့်မည်။ သို့ပြီးမှ အဆုံး သည်ဖြစ် လတံ့။
15 As soon, then, as you see “the Foul Desecration,” mentioned by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy place,’ (the reader must consider what this means)
၁၅ထို့ကြောင့် ပရောဖက် ဒံယေလ ဟော သည်အတိုင်း ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် အရာ သည် သန့်ရှင်း သောအရပ် ဌာန၌ စိုက်နေ သည်ကို သင်တို့မြင် ရလျှင် ၊ ကျမ်းစာကိုကြည့် သောသူ သည် နားလည် ပါစေ။
16 ‘then those of you who are in Judea must take refuge in the mountains;
၁၆ထိုသို့ မြင်ရလျှင်၊ ယုဒ ပြည်၌ ရှိသောသူ တို့သည် တောင် ပေါ်သို့ ပြေး ကြစေ။
17 and a man on the housetop must not go down to get the things that are in his house;
၁၇အိမ်မိုး ပေါ်မှာ ရှိသောသူ သည် အိမ် ထဲက ဥစ္စာ ကိုယူ ခြင်းငှာမ ဆင်း စေနှင့်။
18 nor must one who is on their farm turn back to get his cloak.
၁၈လယ် ၌ ရှိသောသူ လည်း မိမိ အဝတ် ကို ယူ ခြင်းငှာနောက် သို့ မ ပြန် စေနှင့်။
19 Alas for pregnant women, and for those who are nursing infants in those days!
၁၉ထို နေ့ရက် ၌ ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင် သောမိန်းမ နှင့် နို့စို့ သူငယ်ရှိသောမိန်းမ တို့သည် အလွန်ခက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
20 Pray, too, that your flight may not take place in winter, nor on a Sabbath;
၂၀သင် တို့ ပြေး ရသောအချိန်သည် ဆောင်း ကာလ၌မ ကျ၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌လည်းမ ကျ မည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့။
21 for that will be a time of great distress, the like of which has not occurred from the beginning of the world down to the present time – no, nor ever will again.
၂၁အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ကမ္ဘာ ဦး မှစ၍ ယခု တိုင်အောင် မ ဖြစ် စဖူး၊ နောက်၌လည်း မ ဖြစ် လတံ့သော ကြီးစွာ သော ဒုက္ခ သည် ထိုကာလ၌ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။
22 Had not those days been limited, not a single soul would escape; but for the sake of God’s people a limit will be put to them.
၂၂ထို ကာလ တာရှည် လျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှမ လွတ် နိုင်ရာ။ ရွေးချယ် သောသူ တို့အဘို့ အလို့ငှာထို ကာလ သည် တို လိမ့်မည်။
23 At that time, if anyone should say to you “Look! Here is the Christ!” or “Here he is!”, do not believe it;
၂၃ထိုအခါ သူတစ်ပါး က ဤ အရပ်၌ ခရစ်တော် ရှိသည်၊ ထို အရပ်၌ရှိသည်ဟု ဆို သော်လည်း မ ယုံ ကြနှင့်။
24 for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will display great signs and marvels, so that, were it possible, even God’s people would be led astray.
၂၄အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ခရစ်တော် ၏အယောင်ကိုဆောင်သောသူနှင့် မိစ္ဆာ ပရောဖက်တို့သည် ပေါ်လာ ၍ ရွေးချယ် သောသူ တို့ကိုပင် လှည့်ဖြားနိုင် လျှင် လှည့်ဖြား လောက်အောင် ကြီးစွာ သောနိမိတ် လက္ခဏာ၊ အံ့ဘွယ် သောအမှုတို့ကို ပြ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
25 Remember, I have told you beforehand.
၂၅ထိုအကြောင်းအရာတို့ကို ငါပြော နှင့်ပြီ။
26 Therefore, if people say to you “He is in the wilderness!”, do not go out there; or “He is in an inner room!”, do not believe it;
၂၆ထို့ကြောင့် သူတို့ကခရစ်တော်သည် တော ၌ ရှိ သည်ဟုဆို သော်လည်း မ ထွက် မသွားကြနှင့်။ တိုက်ခန်း ၌ ရှိ သည်ဟု ဆိုသော်လည်းမ ယုံ ကြနှင့်။
27 for, just as lightning will start from the east and flash across to the west, so will it be with the coming of the Son of Man.
၂၇လျှပ်စစ် သည် အရှေ့ မှ ပြက် ၍အနောက် တိုင်အောင် ထွန်းလင်း သကဲ့သို့ ၊ လူ သား သည် ကြွလာ တော်မူလတံ့ ။
28 Wherever a dead body lies, there will the vultures flock.
၂၈အသေ ကောင်ရှိ ရာ၌ ရွှေလင်းတ တို့သည် စုဝေး ကြလတံ့။
29 Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the heavens, and the forces of the heavens will be convulsed.
၂၉ထို ကာလ ၏ ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းနောက် ရုတ်ခနဲ နေ သည်မိုက် လိမ့်မည်။ လ သည် အရောင် ကိုမ ပေး ။ ကြယ် တို့သည် ကောင်းကင် မှ ကျ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကောင်းကင် တန်ခိုး တို့သည် တုန်လှုပ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
30 Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in the heavens; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the heavens, with power and great glory;
၃၀ထိုအခါ လူ သား ၏နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာသည် ကောင်းကင် ၌ ထင်ရှား လိမ့်မည်။ မြေကြီး ပေါ်မှာလူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းကြ၍ ၊ လူ သား သည်ကြီးစွာ သောဘုန်း တန်ခိုး အာနုဘော်ကိုဆောင်လျက် ၊ မိုး တိမ် ကိုစီး ၍ ကြွလာ တော်မူသည်ကိုမြင် ရကြလိမ့်မည်။
31 and he will send his angels, with a great trumpet, and they will gather his people round him from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
၃၁လူသားသည် မိမိ တမန် တို့ကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ တံပိုး ခရာကိုပြင်းစွာ မှုတ်စေတော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည် ရွေးချယ် တော်မူသောသူ တို့ကို အရပ် လေး မျက်နှာ၊ ကောင်းကင် အောက် ထက်ဝန်းကျင်တို့မှ ခေါ်၍စုရုံး ကြလတံ့။
32 ‘Learn the lesson taught by the fig tree. As soon as its branches are full of sap, and it is bursting into leaf, you know that summer is near.
၃၂သင်္ဘော သဖန်းပင်ကို အစွဲပြု၍ ပုံ သက်သေတစ်ခုကိုမှတ် ကြလော့။ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်သည် အခက်အလက် နု ၍ အရွက် ပေါက် သောအခါ နွေ ကာလနီး သည်ကို သင်တို့သိ ကြ၏။
33 And so may you, as soon as you see all these things, know that he is at your doors.
၃၃ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ ထို အကြောင်းအရာအလုံးစုံ တို့ကိုမြင် ရလျှင် လူသားသည်တံခါးဝ တိုင်အောင် အနီး သို့ ရောက် တော်မူသည်ကို သိမှတ် ကြလော့။
34 I tell you, even the present generation will not pass away, until all these things have taken place.
၃၄ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ယခု ဖြစ်သောလူ များမ ကုန် မှီ ထို အကြောင်းအရာအလုံးစုံ တို့သည် ဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
35 The heavens and the earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
၃၅ကောင်းကင် နှင့် မြေကြီး မ တည်သော်လည်း ငါ့ စကား တည် လိမ့်မည်။
36 But about that day and hour, no one knows – not even the angels of heaven, not even the Son – but only the Father himself.
၃၆ထို အချိန် နာရီ ကိုကား အဘယ်သူ မျှမ သိ ။ ကောင်းကင် တမန် မ သိ။ ငါ့ခမည်းတော် တစ်ပါးတည်း သာ သိ တော်မူ၏။
37 For, just as in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
၃၇လူ သား သည် ကြွလာ သောအခါနောဧ လက်ထက် ၌ ဖြစ် သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။
38 In those days before the flood they went on eating and drinking, marrying and being married, up to the very day on which Noah entered the ark,
၃၈ရေ လွှမ်းမိုးခြင်းမ ဖြစ်မှီကာလ ၌ နောဧ သည် သင်္ဘော ထဲသို့ ဝင် သောနေ့ တိုင်အောင် လူများတို့သည် စား သောက် လျက် ၊ ထိမ်းမြား စုံဘက် လျက်နေ၍ ၊
39 taking not notice until the flood came and swept them one and all away; and so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
၃၉ရေ လွှမ်းမိုးခြင်းရောက် သဖြင့် လူခပ်သိမ်း တို့ကို သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းသည်တိုင်အောင် သတိမဲ့ နေကြသည် နည်းတူ ၊ လူ သား ကြွလာ သောအခါ၌ ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။
40 At that time, of two men on a farm one will be taken and one left;
၄၀ထိုအခါ လယ် ၌ ရှိ သော သူနှစ် ယောက်တို့တွင် တစ် ယောက်ကိုသိမ်းယူ ၍ တစ် ယောက်မူကား နေရစ် ရ လတံ့။
41 of two women grinding with a hand-mill one will be taken and one left.
၄၁ကြိတ်ဆုံ ကြိတ် သောသူနှစ် ယောက်တို့တွင် တစ် ယောက်ကိုသိမ်းယူ ၍ တစ် ယောက်မူကား နေရစ် ရလတံ့။
42 Therefore watch; for you cannot be sure on what day your Master is coming.
၄၂သင် တို့အရှင် သည် အဘယ် အချိန်နာရီ ၌ရောက်လာ မည်ကို သင်တို့မ သိ သောကြောင့် စောင့် နေကြ လော့။
43 But this you do know, that, had the owner of the house known at what time of night the thief was coming, they would have been on the watch, and would not have allowed their house to be broken into.
၄၃သူခိုး လာ မည်အချိန် နာရီကို အိမ်ရှင် သိ ရလျှင် ၊ မိမိ အိမ် ကိုမ ထွင်း မဖောက်စေခြင်းငှာ၊ စောင့် နေလိမ့်မည်ကို သင်တို့သိ ကြ၏။
44 Therefore, you must also prepare, since it is just when you are least expecting him that the Son of Man will come.
၄၄ထိုကြောင့် သင် တို့သည်ပြင်ဆင် လျက်နေ ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင်တို့ မ ထင် မမှတ်သော အချိန် နာရီ၌ လူ သား သည်ကြွလာ လိမ့်မည်။
45 Who, then is that trustworthy, careful servant, who has been placed by their master over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?
၄၅အရှင်သည် မိမိ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်းတို့အား အချိန်တန် လျှင် အစား အသောက်တို့ကို ဝေဖန် စေခြင်းငှာအအုပ်အချုပ် ခန့်ထား ၍၊ သစ္စာ နှင့်၎င်း၊ သတိပညာ နှင့် ၎င်း ပြည့်စုံသောကျွန် ကား အဘယ်သူ နည်း။
46 Happy will that servant be whom their master, when he comes home, will find doing this.
၄၆အကြင်ကျွန်သည် ဤသို့ ပြု လျက်နေသည်ကို အရှင် သည်ပြန်လာ ၍တွေ့ ၏။ ထို ကျွန် သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏။
47 I tell you that their master will put them in charge of the whole of his property.
၄၇ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ အရှင်သည် မိမိ ဥစ္စာ ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို ထိုကျွန် ၌ အပ် လိမ့်မည်။
48 But, should the servant be a bad servant, and say to themselves “My master is a long time in coming,”
၄၈သို့မဟုတ် မူကား ၊ အကြင်ကျွန် ဆိုး က ငါ့ အရှင် လာ ခဲလိမ့်မည်ဟု စိတ် ထဲ၌ အောက်မေ့သည်။
49 and begin to beat their fellow servants, and eat and drink with drunkards,
၄၉ကျွန်ချင်း တို့ကို ရိုက်ပုတ် လျက် သေသောက်ကြူး သောသူ တို့နှင့်တကွ စား သောက် လျက်နေ၏။
50 that servant’s master will come on a day when they do not expect him, and at an hour of which they are unaware,
၅၀ထို ကျွန် မ ကြည့် မမျှော်သောနေ့ရက် ၊ မ ကြား မသိသောအချိန် နာရီ၌ သခင် သည်ရောက်လာ လျှင်၊
51 and will flog the servant severely, and assign them their place among the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
၅၁ထိုကျွန် သည် ပြင်းပြစွာကွပ်မျက် ဆုံးမ၍ ၊ ငိုကြွေး ခြင်း၊ အံသွား ခဲကြိတ် ခြင်းရှိ ရာအရပ် ၌ လျှို့ဝှက် သော သူ တို့နှင့်တကွ နေရာ ချ လတံ့။
