1 Thessalonians 1
1 To the Thessalonian church in union with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, from Paul, Silas, and Timothy. May God bless you and give you peace.
Polo, Silasi mpe Timote; Epai ya bandeko ya Lingomba ya Tesalonika, ba-oyo bazali kati na Nzambe Tata mpe kati na Nkolo Yesu-Klisto: Tika ete ngolu mpe kimia epesamela bino!
2 We always mention you in our prayers and thank God for you all;
Tozongisaka tango nyonso matondi epai ya Nzambe mpo na bino nyonso tango totangaka bino kati na mabondeli na biso.
3 recalling continually before our God and Father the efforts that have resulted from your faith, the toil prompted by your love, and the patient endurance sustained by your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tobosanaka te liboso ya Nzambe, Tata na biso, misala ya kondima na bino, misala ya bolingo na bino mpe molende na bino, oyo ewuti na elikya monene oyo bozali na yango kati na Nkolo na biso, Yesu-Klisto.
4 Friends, whom God loves, we know that he has chosen you,
Bandeko balingami ya Nzambe, toyebi malamu ete Nzambe apona bino,
5 because the good news that we brought came home to you, not merely as so many words, but with a power and a fulness of conviction due to the Holy Spirit. For you know the life that we lived among you for your good.
pamba te Sango Malamu na biso ekomaki epai na bino kaka na maloba te, kasi mpe na nguya, na Molimo Mosantu mpe na kondima monene. Mpe boyebi malamu ndenge nini tozalaki kovanda kati na bino mpo na bolamu na bino.
6 And you yourselves began to follow, not only our example, but the Master’s also; and, in spite of much suffering, you welcomed the message with a joy inspired by the Holy Spirit,
Bokomaki kolanda ndakisa na biso mpe ya Nkolo, pamba te boyambaki Liloba kati na minyoko mingi mpe na esengo oyo Molimo Mosantu apesaka.
7 and so became a pattern to all who believed in Christ throughout Macedonia and Greece.
Mpo na yango, bokomi mpe ndakisa mpo na bandimi nyonso ya Masedwane mpe ya Akayi.
8 For it was from you that the Lord’s message resounded throughout Macedonia and Greece; and, more than that, your faith in God has become known far and wide; so that there is no need for us to say another word.
Wuta epai na bino, Liloba na Nkolo epanzani kaka te na Masedwane mpe Akayi, kasi sango ya kondima na bino kati na Nzambe eyebani mpe bipai nyonso. Yango wana tozali lisusu na tina te ya koloba ata likambo moko mpo na yango,
9 Indeed, in speaking about us, the people themselves tell of the reception you gave us, and how, turning to God from your idols, you became servants of the true and living God,
pamba te bango moko bazali kotatola ndenge nini boyambaki biso mpe ndenge nini botikaki kosambela banzambe ya bikeko mpo na komipesa na Nzambe mpe mpo na kosalela Nzambe na bomoi mpe ya solo,
10 and are now awaiting the return from heaven of his Son whom he raised from the dead – Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.
mpe mpo na kozela, kowuta na Likolo, Mwana na Ye oyo asekwisaki kati na bakufi Yesu oyo azali kokangola biso na kanda oyo ezali koya.
