< Psalms 95 >

1 Oh come, let’s sing to Adonai. Let’s shout aloud to the rock of our yesha' ·salvation·!
Vini non, ann fè kè nou kontan, ann chante pou Seyè a! Ann fè fèt pou moun k'ap pwoteje nou an, pou moun k'ap delivre nou an!
2 Let’s come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let’s extol him with songs!
Ann parèt devan li pou nou di l' mèsi! Ann chante yon chante pou fè lwanj li!
3 For Adonai is a great God, a great King above all deities.
Paske, Seyè a se yon Bondye ki gen pouvwa, se yon gwo wa sou tout lòt bondye yo.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.
Se li menm ki kenbe fondasyon tè a nan men l'. Se pou li tout tèt mòn yo ye tou.
5 The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.
Se pou li lanmè a ye, paske se li ki fè l', latè a tou, paske se li ki ba l' fòm ak men l'.
6 Oh come, let’s worship and hawa ·bow low, prostrate·. Let’s kneel before Yahweh 'Oseinu [Yahweh our Maker],
Vini non! Ann bese tèt nou devan li, ann adore li! Ann tonbe ajenou devan Seyè ki kreye nou an!
7 for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would sh'ma ·hear obey· his voice!
Se li ki Bondye nou, se pèp li nou ye, l'ap pran swen nou tankou mouton ki nan savann li. Si sèlman nou te vle tande jòdi a sa l'ap di nou:
8 Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah [Quarreling], as in the day of Massah [Testing] in the wilderness,
-Pa kenbe tèt ak mwen, tankou zansèt nou yo te fè l' lè yo te bò sous dlo Meriba a, tankou yo te fè l' jou sa a nan dezè a bò Masa.
9 when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.
Lè sa a, yo te vle wè jouk ki bò mwen ye ak yo, yo te sonde m', malgre yo te deja wè tou sa mwen te fè pou yo.
10 Forty long years I loathed that generation, and said, “This is a people that errors in their heart. They have not known my ways.”
Pandan karantan, ras moun sa yo ban m' degoutans. Mwen te di: Y'ap fè move lide nan tèt yo. Yo derefize obeyi kòmandman mwen yo.
11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They won’t enter into my rest.”
Se sak fè, lè m' te ankòlè a, mwen sèmante yo p'ap janm mete pye yo kote pou yo pran repo ansanm ak mwen an.
