Psalms 72
1 God, give your mishpat ·justice· to the King Messiah [Anointed one]; and your righteousness to the Son of David [Beloved] the King.
ऐ ख़ुदा! बादशाह को अपने अहकाम और शहज़ादे को अपनी सदाक़त 'अता फ़रमा।
2 He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor afflicted ones with right judgments.
वह सदाक़त से तेरे लोगों की, और इन्साफ़ से तेरे ग़रीबों की 'अदालत करेगा।
3 The mountains shall bring peace and prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.
इन लोगों के लिए पहाड़ों से सलामती के, और पहाड़ियों से सदाक़त के फल पैदा होंगे।
4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
वह इन लोगों के गरीबों की 'अदालत करेगा; वह मोहताजों की औलाद को बचाएगा, और ज़ालिम को टुकड़े टुकड़े कर डालेगा।
5 They shall fear you, the King Messiah [Anointed one], while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
जब तक सूरज और चाँद क़ाईम हैं, लोग नसल — दर — नसल तुझ से डरते रहेंगे।
6 He will come down like rain on the cut grass of the earth, as showers that water the earth.
वह कटी हुई घास पर मेंह की तरह, और ज़मीन को सेराब करने वाली बारिश की तरह नाज़िल होगा।
7 In his days, the upright shall be multiplied, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
उसके दिनों में सादिक बढ़ेंगे, और जब तक चाँद क़ाईम है ख़ूब अमन रहेगा।
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
उसकी सल्तनत समन्दर से समन्दर तक और दरिया — ए — फ़रात से ज़मीन की इन्तिहा तक होगी।
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
वीरान के रहने वाले उसके आगे झुकेंगे, और उसके दुश्मन ख़ाक चाटेंगे।
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
तरसीस के और जज़ीरों के बादशाह नज़रें पेश करेंगे, सबा और सेबा के बादशाह हदिये लाएँगे।
11 Yes, all kings shall hawa ·bow low, prostrate· before him. All nations shall serve him.
बल्कि सब बादशाह उसके सामने सर्नगूँ होंगे कुल क़ौमें उसकी फरमाबरदार होंगी।
12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
क्यूँकि वह मोहताज को जब वह फ़रियाद करे, और ग़रीब की जिसका कोई मददगार नहीं छुड़ाएगा।
13 He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
वह ग़रीब और मुहताज पर तरस खाएगा, और मोहताजों की जान को बचाएगा।
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
वह फ़िदिया देकर उनकी जान को ज़ुल्म और जब्र से छुड़ाएगा और उनका खू़न उसकी नज़र में बेशक़ीमत होगा।
15 They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.
वह ज़िन्दा रहेंगे और सबा का सोना उसको दिया जाएगा। लोग बराबर उसके हक़ में दुआ करेंगे: वह दिनभर उसे दुआ देंगे।
16 There shall be an abundance of corn throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field outside the city.
ज़मीन में पहाड़ों की चोटियों पर अनाज को अफ़रात होगी; उनका फल लुबनान के दरख़्तों की तरह झूमेगा; और शहर वाले ज़मीन की घास की तरह हरे भरे होंगे।
17 His name endures forever. His name existed before the creation of the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
उसका नाम हमेशा क़ाईम रहेगा, जब तक सूरज है उसका नाम रहेगा; और लोग उसके वसीले से बरकत पाएँगे, सब क़ौमें उसे खु़शनसीब कहेंगी।
18 Praise be to Adonai God, the God of Israel [God prevails], who alone does marvelous deeds.
खु़दावन्द ख़ुदा इस्राईल का खु़दा, मुबारक हो! वही 'अजीब — ओ — ग़रीब काम करता है।
19 Blessed be his kavod ·weighty glorious· name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his kavod ·weighty glory·! Amen v'Amen ·So be it and So be it·.
उसका जलील नाम हमेशा के लिए सारी ज़मीन उसके जलाल से मा'मूर हो। आमीन सुम्मा आमीन!
20 This ends the prayers by David [Beloved], the son of Jesse [My husband].
दाऊद बिन यस्सी की दु'आएँ तमाम हुई।
