< Psalms 72 >
1 God, give your mishpat ·justice· to the King Messiah [Anointed one]; and your righteousness to the Son of David [Beloved] the King.

2 He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor afflicted ones with right judgments.

3 The mountains shall bring peace and prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.

4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
Ama ni ka mathoe e tamimaya koe kângingnae thokhai vaiteh, ka voutthoup e catounnaw hah rungngang vaiteh, rep kacuengroenaw hah a rek awh han.
5 They shall fear you, the King Messiah [Anointed one], while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

6 He will come down like rain on the cut grass of the earth, as showers that water the earth.
Ama teh pho kahring va hoehnahlan e kho ka rak e patetlah thoseh, talai kakawkkung kho a rak e patetlah thoseh a kum han.
7 In his days, the upright shall be multiplied, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
Ama se nah teh, tamikalannaw kâroe vaiteh, thapa ao roukrak teh, lungkuep roumnae ao han.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
Ama ni talîpui avanglah hoi avanglah totouh, talîpui koehoi talai pout totouh a uk han.
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
Kahrawngum vah kho kasaknaw ni a hmalah tabawk awh vaiteh, a tarannaw ni vaiphu hah a palem awh han.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Tarshish ram hoi tuilum siangpahrangnaw ni, hno poe hane sin awh vaiteh, Sheba hoi Seba siangpahrangnaw ni hai poehnonaw hah a poe awh han.
11 Yes, all kings shall hawa ·bow low, prostrate· before him. All nations shall serve him.
Bokheiyah, siangpahrangnaw pueng, a hmalah tabawk awh vaiteh, miphun pueng ni a thaw a tawk awh han.
12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, kavoutthoupnaw a hram awh toteh, a rungngang han. Mathoenaw hoi kabawmkung ka tawn hoeh naw hai a kabawp han.
13 He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
Mathoe hoi voutthoup naw hah pahren vaiteh, voutthoup hringnae hah a rungngang han.
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
Repcoungroenae hoi kaisuenae thung hoi a hringnae ratang vaiteh, a thipaling teh a mithmu vah ka sungren poung e lah ao han.
15 They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.

16 There shall be an abundance of corn throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field outside the city.
Ram dawk cakang moi awm vaiteh, monsom e a pawhiknaw hah Lebanon patetlah kâhuen vaiteh, khothung e taminaw teh, talai phokahring patetlah a kâhuet awh han.
17 His name endures forever. His name existed before the creation of the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.

18 Praise be to Adonai God, the God of Israel [God prevails], who alone does marvelous deeds.
