Psalms 7
1 Adonai, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
Osvědčení neviny Davidovy, o čemž zpíval Hospodinu z příčiny slov Chusi syna Jeminova. Hospodine Bože můj, v toběť doufám, vysvoboď mne ode všech protivníků mých, a vytrhni mne,
2 lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.
Aby neuchvátil jako lev duše mé, a neroztrhal, když by nebyl, kdo by vysvobodil.
3 Adonai, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,
Hospodine Bože můj, učinil-li jsem to, jest-li nepravost při mně,
4 if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, if I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),
Èinil-li jsem zle tomu, kdož se ke mně pokojně choval, (nýbrž spomáhal jsem protivícímu se mi bez příčiny),
5 let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
Nechať stihá nepřítel duši mou, i popadne, a pošlapá na zemi život můj, a slávu mou v prach uvede. (Sélah)
6 Arise, Adonai, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have enjoined judgment.
Povstaň, Hospodine, v hněvě svém, vyvyš se proti vzteklostem mých nepřátel, a prociť ke mně, nebo jsi soud nařídil.
7 Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Rule over them on high.
I shrne se k tobě shromáždění lidí; pro ně tedy u výsost navrať se zase.
8 Adonai administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Adonai, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.
Hospodin souditi bude lidi. Sudiž mne, Hospodine, podlé spravedlnosti mé, a podlé nevinnosti mé, kteráž při mně jest.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the upright; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.
Ó by již k skončení přišla nešlechetnost bezbožných, spravedlivého pak abys utvrdil ty, kterýž zkušuješ srdce a ledví, Bože spravedlivý.
10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
Bůh jest štít můj, kterýž spaseny činí upřímé srdcem.
11 God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day.
Bůh jest soudce spravedlivý, Bůh silný hněvá se na bezbožného každý den.
12 If a man does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.
Neobrátí-li se, naostříť meč svůj; lučiště své natáhl, a naměřil je.
13 He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.
Připravil sobě i zbroj smrtelnou, střely své proti škůdcím přistrojil.
14 Behold, he travails with vain striving of iniquity. Yes, he has conceived mischief, and brought out falsehood.
Aj, rodí nepravost; nebo počav těžkou bolest, urodí lež.
15 He has dug a hole, and has fallen into the pit which he made.
Jámu kopal, i vykopal ji, ale padne do dolu, kterýž přistrojil.
16 The trouble he causes shall teshuvah ·completely return· to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
Obrátíť se usilování jeho na hlavu jeho, a na vrch hlavy jeho nepravost jeho sstoupí.
17 I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai according to his righteousness, and will make zahmar ·musical praise· to the name of Adonai Most High.
Slaviti budu Hospodina podlé spravedlnosti jeho, a žalmy zpívati jménu Hospodina nejvyššího.
