< Psalms 43 >
1 Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.
Ndiruramisirei, imi Mwari, uye mundireverere mhaka yangu parudzi rusina Mwari; ndinunurei pavanhu vanonyengera nevakaipa.
2 For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Ndimi Mwari nhare yangu. Mandirambireiko? Ndinofambireiko pose ndichichema ndichidzvinyirirwa navavengi?
3 Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents.
Tumirai chiedza chenyu nechokwadi chenyu, ngazvinditungamirire; ngazvindisvitse kugomo renyu dzvene, kunzvimbo yamunogara.
4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you on the harp, God, my God.
Ipapo ndichaenda kuaritari yaMwari, kuna Mwari, iye mufaro wangu nomudikani wangu. Ndichakurumbidzai nembira, imi Mwari, Mwari wangu.
5 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to him: my yishu'ah ·Savior·, my helper, and my God.
Wakasuwireiko, nhai mweya wangu? Unotambudzwa neiko mukati mangu? Isa tariro yako muna Mwari, nokuti ndichamurumbidzazve, Muponesi wangu naMwari wangu.
