Psalms 42
1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.
जसरी हरिणले खोलाको पानीको तृष्णा गर्छ, त्यसरी नै, हे परमेश्वर, म तपाईंको तृष्णा गर्छु ।
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the Elohim Chayim [Living God]. When shall I come and appear before God?
परमेश्वरको, जीवित परमेश्वरको तृष्णा म गर्छु, म कहिले आऊँ र परमेश्वरको सामु देखा परू?
3 My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually ask me, “Where is your God?”
दिनरात मेरा आँशु मेरो खानेकुरा भएका छन्, मेरा शत्रुहरूले मलाई सधैं यसो भन्छन्, “तेरो परमेश्वर खोइ कहाँ छन्?”
4 These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, how I used to go with the crowd, and led them to God’s house, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a holy day.
मेरो प्राण खन्याउँदा यी कुराहरू मनमा म याद गर्छुः कसरी म भिडसँग गएँ, अनि उत्सव मनाउने धेरै जनाको भिडसँग आनन्द र प्रशंसाको सोरसँगै परमेश्वरको मन्दिरमा तिनीहरूलाई डोर्याएँ ।
5 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to him for the yishu'ah ·salvation· of his presence.
ए मेरो प्राण, तँ किन निराश हुन्छस्? मभित्रै तँ किन उदाश हुन्छस्? परमेश्वरमा आसा राख्, किनकि म फेरि पनि उहाँको प्रशंसा गर्नेछु जो मेरो उद्धार हुनुहुन्छ ।
6 My God, my soul is in despair within me. Therefore I remember you from the land of the Jordan [Descender], the heights of Hermon [Devoted to destruction], from the hill Mizar.
हे मेरो परमेश्वर, मेरो प्राण मभित्रै निराश भएको छ, यसकारण यर्दनको भूमिबाट, हेर्मोनका तिन टाकुराबाट र मिसारको डाँडाबाट तपाईंलाई सम्झन्छु ।
7 Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.
तपाईंका झरनाहरूका हल्लामा सागरले सागरलाई बोलाउँछ । तपाईंका सबै छाल र तरङ्गहरू ममाथि गएका छन् ।
8 Adonai will enjoin his chesed ·loving-kindness· in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.
तापनि परमप्रभुले दिनको समयमा आफ्नो करारको विश्वस्ततालाई आज्ञा गर्नुहुनेछ । उहाँको गीत, मेरो जीवनको परमेश्वरमा गरेको प्रार्थना रातमा मसँग हुनेछ ।
9 I will ask God, my rock, “Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”
परमेश्वर, मेरा चट्टानलाई म भन्नेछु, “तपाईंले मलाई किन बिर्सनुभएको छ? शत्रुले थिचेको कारणले मैले किन शोक गर्नुपर्ने?”
10 As with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me, while they continually ask me, “Where is your God?”
मेरा हाडहरूमा तरवार परेझैं, मेरा शत्रुहरूले मलाई हप्काउँछन्, तिनीहरू सधैं मलाई यसो भन्छन्, “तेरो परमेश्वर खोइ कहाँ छन्?”
11 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to him, the yishu'ah ·salvation· of my countenance, and my God.
ए मेरो प्राण, तँ किन निराश हुन्छस्? मभित्रै तँ किन उदाश हुन्छस्? परमेश्वरमा आसा राख्, किनकि म फेरि पनि उहाँको प्रशंसा गर्नेछु जो मेरो उद्धार र मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ ।
