Psalms 33
1 Rejoice in Adonai, you upright! Tehilah ·Praise song· is fitting for the upright.
१न्यायी जनहो! परमेश्वरामध्ये आनंद करा, न्यायी लोकांनो त्याची स्तुती करा.
2 Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai with the lyre. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with the harp of ten strings.
२वीणा वाजवून परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद द्या; दहा तारांच्या वाद्यावर त्याचे गुणगान गा.
3 Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
३त्याच्यासाठी नवे गीत गा; मोठा आवाज करून कौशल्याने वाद्ये वाजवा.
4 For Adonai’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
४कारण परमेश्वरचे वचन सरळ आहे, आणि तो जे करतो ते प्रामाणिकपणाने करतो.
5 He 'ahav ·affectionately loves· righteousness and mishpat ·justice·. The earth is full of the chesed ·loving-kindness· of Adonai.
५देवाला चांगलुपणा आणि न्यायीपण प्रिय आहे, परमेश्वराच्या प्रेमदयेने पृथ्वी भरलेली आहे.
6 By Adonai’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.
६परमेश्वराच्या शब्दाकडून आकाशे निर्माण झाली आणि त्याच्या मुखातील श्वासाने सर्व तारे निर्माण झाले आहेत.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
७तो समुद्रातील पाणी ढीगासारखे एकत्र करतो, तो समुद्र कोठारामध्ये ठेवतो.
8 Let all the earth fear Adonai. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
८सर्व पृथ्वी परमेश्वराचे भय बाळगो, जगात राहणारा प्रत्येक त्याच्या भीतीत उभा राहो.
9 For he spoke, and it was done. He enjoined, and it stood firm.
९कारण तो बोलला आणि ते झाले, त्याने आज्ञा केली आणि ते आपल्या ठिकाणी स्थिर झाले.
10 Adonai brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
१०राष्ट्रांचा उपदेश परमेश्वर मोडतो, तो लोकांच्या योजनांवर अधिकार करतो.
11 The counsel of Adonai stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
११परंतु परमेश्वराच्या योजना सर्वकाळ राहतात, त्याच्या हृदयातील योजना पिढ्यानपिढ्या स्थिर राहतात.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is Adonai, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
१२परमेश्वर ज्या राष्ट्राचा देव आहे ते राष्ट्र आशीर्वादित आहे. ज्यांना त्याने आपल्या वतनाचे होण्यास निवडले आहे ते सुखी आहेत.
13 Adonai looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
१३परमेश्वर स्वर्गातून खाली पाहतो, तो सर्व लोकांस पाहातो.
14 From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
१४तो आपल्या राहण्याच्या ठिकाणाहून पृथ्वीवर राहणाऱ्या सर्व लोकांकडे पाहतो.
15 he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
१५ज्याने सर्वांची हृदये घडवली तो त्या सर्वांची कृत्ये पारखतो, तोच तो आहे.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
१६पुष्कळ सैन्य असल्याने राजा तारला जात नाही. वीर योद्धा त्याच्या सामर्थ्याने वाचतो असे नाही.
17 A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
१७घोडा विजयासाठी व्यर्थ आहे. त्याच्या पुष्कळ बळाने तो कोणाला वाचवू शकत नाही.
18 Behold, Adonai’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness;
१८पाहा! परमेश्वराची दृष्टी त्याचे भय बाळगणाऱ्यांवर आहे. जे त्याच्या प्रेमदयेची आशा धरतात,
19 to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
१९त्यांना मरणापासून, आणि दुष्काळापासून वाचवायला त्याची दृष्टी त्यांच्यावर आहे.
20 Our soul has waited for Adonai. He is our help and our shield.
२०आम्ही परमेश्वराची वाट पाहू, तो आमचे साहाय्य आणि आमची ढाल आहे.
21 For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
२१त्याच्यामध्ये आमचे हृदय हर्ष पावते, कारण आम्ही त्याच्या पवित्रतेत विश्वास ठेवतो.
22 Let your loving kindness be on us, Adonai, since we have hoped in you.
२२परमेश्वरा, आम्ही तुझी आशा धरली आहे त्याप्रमाणे तुझी प्रेमदया आम्हाबरोबर असू दे.
