Psalms 32
1 Blessed is he whose rebellious breach of relationship is forgiven, whose cause for sacrifice for sin ·missing the goal· is covered.
Thaburi ya Daudi Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ ũrĩa ũrekeirwo mahĩtia make, o ũrĩa mehia make mahumbĩrĩtwo.
2 Blessed is the man to whom Adonai does not impute depravity (moral evil), in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa Jehova atatuaga mwĩhia, na ũrĩa ũtarĩ ũhinga ngoro.
3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Rĩrĩa ndakirĩte ki, mahĩndĩ makwa nĩmahinyarire nĩ ũndũ wa gũcaaya gwakwa mũthenya wothe.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
Nĩgũkorwo guoko gwaku nĩ kwanditũhagĩra mũthenya na ũtukũ; hinya wakwa wathirire o ta ũrĩa ime rĩthiraga hĩndĩ ya riũa.
5 I acknowledged my habitual sin ·missing the mark· to you. I didn’t hide my depravity (moral evil). I said, I will yadah ·extend hands in confession· of my rebellious breaches of relationships to Adonai, and you forgave the depravity (moral evil) of my habitual sin ·missing the mark·. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo ngĩkumbũrĩra mehia makwa, na ndiahithire waganu wakwa, ndoigire atĩrĩ, “Nĩngumbũra mahĩtia makwa kũrĩ Jehova,” nawe ũkĩndekera ũũru wa mehia makwa.
6 For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũndũ wothe mwĩtigĩri Ngai nĩakũhooe rĩrĩa ũngĩoneka; ti-itherũ rĩrĩa maaĩ maingĩ marĩ hinya maambũrũrũka, matingĩmũkinyĩra.
7 You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
Wee nĩwe kĩĩhitho gĩakwa; nĩũkangitĩra hĩndĩ ya mathĩĩna, na ũũthiũrũrũkĩrie na nyĩmbo cia ũhonokio.
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Nĩndĩrĩkũrutaga na ngakuonereria njĩra ĩrĩa wagĩrĩirwo nĩ kũgera; ndĩrĩgũtaaraga na ngũmenyagĩrĩre.
9 Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
Ndũkahaane ta mbarathi kana nyũmbũ, iria itarĩ ũmenyo, iria arĩ o nginya ciĩkĩrwo matamu na mĩkwa kanua, kwaga ũguo itingĩgũkuhĩrĩria.
10 Many sorrows come to the wicked, but chesed ·loving-kindness· shall surround him who trusts in Adonai.
Andũ arĩa aaganu monaga maruo maingĩ, no mũndũ ũrĩa wĩhokaga Jehova egũtũũra arigiicĩirio nĩ wendo ũrĩa ũtathiraga.
11 Be glad in Adonai, and rejoice, you upright! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!
Inyuĩ arĩa athingu kenerai Jehova na mũcanjamũke; mũinĩrei, inyuothe arĩa arũngĩrĩru ngoro!
