< Psalms 25 >
1 א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.
Dawid dwom. Awurade, me Nyankopɔn, wo mu na mede me werɛ hyɛ.
2 בּ My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
Wo so, me Nyankopɔn, na mede me ho to, mma mʼanim ngu ase, na mma mʼatamfo nso nni me so nkonim.
3 גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho to wo so no mu biara anim rengu ase da, mmom, wɔn a wɔyɛ kɔntɔnkye kwa no anim begu ase.
4 דּ Show me your ways, Adonai. Teach me your paths.
Kyerɛ me wʼakwan, Awurade, na minhu wʼatempɔn.
5 ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·, I wait for you all day long.
Fa wo nokware no so kyerɛkyerɛ me, efisɛ woyɛ Onyankopɔn, me Gyefo, na mʼani da wo so daa nyinaa.
6 ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for they are from old times.
Kae, Awurade, wo mmɔborɔhunu ne wo dɔ kɛse a ɛwɔ hɔ fi tete no.
7 ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships. Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.
Nkae me mmabun bere mu bɔne ne mʼatuatew akwan; kae me sɛnea wʼadɔe te, Awurade, efisɛ wuye.
8 ט Good and upright is Adonai, therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.
Awurade ye na ɔteɛ; enti ɔkyerɛkyerɛ nnebɔneyɛfo nʼakwan.
9 י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·. He will teach the humble his way.
Ɔde ahobrɛasefo fa ɔkwan pa so na ɔkyerɛ wɔn nʼapɛde.
10 כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Awurade akwan nyinaa yɛ ɔdɔ ne nokwaredi ma wɔn a wodi nʼapam mu ahyɛde so.
11 ל For your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.
Awurade, me bɔne so de, nanso wo din nti, fa kyɛ me.
12 מ What man is he who fears Adonai? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
Enti hena ne onipa a osuro Awurade? Ɔbɛkyerɛ no ɔkwan a wabɔ ama no.
13 נ His soul shall dwell at ease. His offspring shall inherit the land.
Obedi yiye wɔ ne nkwanna mu, na nʼasefo afa asase no sɛ wɔn agyapade.
14 ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
Awurade da nʼatirimsɛm adi kyerɛ wɔn a wosuro no; na ɔma wohu nʼapam.
15 ע My eyes are ever on Adonai, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
Mʼani da Awurade so daa, efisɛ ɔno nko ara na obeyi mʼanan afi afiri mu.
16 פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
Dan wʼani hwɛ me, na dom me, efisɛ meyɛ ankonam na meyɛ mmɔbɔ.
17 צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
Me koma mu dadwen adɔɔso; yi me dadwen fi me so.
18 ר Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.
Hwɛ me haw ne mʼahohiahia na yi me bɔne nyinaa fi me so.
19 ר Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
Hwɛ sɛnea mʼatamfo adɔɔso ne ɔtan kɛse a wɔde tan me!
20 שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
Bɔ me nkwa ho ban na gye me; mma mʼanim ngu ase, efisɛ me guankɔbea ne wo.
21 תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
Ma trenee ne nokware mmɔ me ho ban, efisɛ mʼani da wo so.
22 Redeem Israel [God prevails], God, out all of his troubles.
