Psalms 24

1 The earth is Adonai’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

Un Salmo de David. La tierra es del Señor, y todo lo que está en ella le pertenece a Él. El mundo es suyo, y todos los que viven en él.

2 For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

Porque él es el único que colocó las bases de los mares, estableciéndolas sobre las aguas.

3 Who may ascend to Adonai’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place?

¿Quién puede ir al monte del Señor? ¿Quién tiene el permiso de posarse sobre su lugar santo?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

Aquellos que tengan manos limpias y corazones puros, que no adoran ídolos, y que no mienten bajo juramento.

5 He shall receive a blessing from Adonai, righteousness from the God of his yesha' ·salvation·.

Tomarán consigo la bendición del Señor, reivindicada por el Dios que los salva.

6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face— even Jacob [Supplanter]. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.

Estos son los que podrán ir al Señor y lo adorarán delante ti, Dios de Jacob. (Selah)

7 Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory] will come in.

¡Ábranse puertas! ¡Levántense, puertas antiguas! ¡Dejen que el Rey de gloria entre!

8 Who is the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory]? Adonai strong and mighty, Adonai mighty in battle.

¿Quién es este Rey de gloria? El Señor, fuerte y poderoso, valiente en la batalla.

9 Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory] will come in.

¡Ábranse puertas! ¡Levántense, puertas antiguas! ¡Dejen que el Rey de gloria entre!

10 Who is this Melek haKavod [King of Glory]? Adonai Tzva'ot [Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies] is the Melek haKavod [King of Glory]! (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
