< Psalms 149 >

1 Praise Adonai! Sing to Adonai a new song, his tehilah ·praise song· in the assembly of the saints.
Mutendereze Mukama! Muyimbire Mukama oluyimba oluggya, mumutenderereze wamu n’ekibiina ky’abatukuvu.
2 Let Israel [God prevails] rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] be joyful in their King.
Isirayiri asanyukirenga eyamutonda; n’abantu ba Sayuuni bajagulize Kabaka waabwe!
3 Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with tambourine and harp!
Batenderezenga erinnya lye nga bwe bazina, bamutenderezenga nga bwe bakuba ennanga n’ebitaasa.
4 For Adonai takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with yishu'ah ·salvation·.
Kubanga Mukama asanyukira abantu be, n’abawombeefu abawa engule ey’obulokozi.
5 Let the saints rejoice in kavod ·weighty glory·. Let them sing for joy on their beds.
Abatuukirivu bajagulizenga mu kitiibwa kino; bayimbire ku bitanda byabwe olw’essanyu.
6 May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
Batenderezenga Katonda waabwe, bakwate ekitala eky’obwogi obubiri,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;
bawoolere eggwanga, babonereze n’amawanga,
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
bateeke bakabaka baago mu njegere, n’abakungu baago babasibe amagulu n’ebyuma,
9 to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
babasalire omusango ogwabawandiikirwa. Kino kye kitiibwa ky’abatukuvu be bonna. Mutendereze Mukama.
