Psalms 138
1 I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to with my whole heart. Before the deities, I will sing zahmar ·musical praise· to you.
Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Ndichakurumbidzai, imi Jehovha, nomwoyo wangu wose; ndichaimba nziyo dzokukurumbidzai pamberi pa“vamwari.”
2 I will bow down toward your holy temple, and yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your Name for your chesed ·loving-kindness· and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all.
Ndichakotamira pasi ndakatarisa kutemberi yenyu tsvene, uye ndicharumbidza zita renyu nokuda kworudo rwenyu nokutendeka kwenyu, nokuti makakudza zita renyu neshoko renyu pamusoro pezvinhu zvose.
3 In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.
Pandakadana, imi makandipindura; makandishingisa nomwoyo wakasimba.
4 All the kings of the earth will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for they have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the words of your mouth.
Madzimambo ose enyika ngaakurumbidzei, imi Jehovha, pavanonzwa mashoko omuromo wenyu.
5 Yes, they will sing of the ways of Adonai; for great is the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing·.
Ngavaimbe pamusoro penzira dzaJehovha, nokuti kubwinya kwaJehovha kukuru.
6 For though Adonai is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.
Kunyange Jehovha ari kumusoro, anoona vanozvininipisa, asi vanozvikudza anovaziva vari kure.
7 Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me.
Kunyange ndikafamba pakati penhamo, munochengetedza upenyu hwangu; munotambanudza ruoko rwenyu pamusoro pehasha dzavavengi vangu, munondiponesa noruoko rwenyu rworudyi.
8 Adonai will fulfill that which concerns me; your chesed ·loving-kindness·, Adonai, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.
Jehovha achazadzisa zvirongwa zvake neni; rudo rwenyu, imi Jehovha, runogara nokusingaperi, musasiya mabasa amaoko enyu.
