< Psalms 130 >
1 Out of the depths I have cried to you, Adonai.
Wimbo wa kwenda juu. Kutoka vilindini ninakulilia, Ee Bwana.
2 Lord, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
Ee Bwana, sikia sauti yangu. Masikio yako na yawe masikivu kwa kilio changu unihurumie.
3 If you, Yah, kept a record of depravities (moral evils), Lord, who could stand?
Kama wewe, Ee Bwana, ungeweka kumbukumbu ya dhambi, Ee Bwana, ni nani angeliweza kusimama?
4 But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
Lakini kwako kuna msamaha, kwa hiyo wewe unaogopwa.
5 I wait for Adonai. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
Namngojea Bwana, nafsi yangu inangojea, katika neno lake naweka tumaini langu.
6 My soul longs for 'Adonay [Lord] more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.
Nafsi yangu inamngojea Bwana kuliko walinzi waingojeavyo asubuhi, naam, kuliko walinzi waingojeavyo asubuhi.
7 Israel [God prevails], hope in Adonai, for with Adonai there is chesed ·loving-kindness·. With him is abundant redemption.
Ee Israeli, mtumaini Bwana, maana kwa Bwana kuna upendo usiokoma, na kwake kuna ukombozi kamili.
8 He will redeem Israel [God prevails] from all their depravities (moral evils).
Yeye mwenyewe ataikomboa Israeli kutoka dhambi zao zote.
