1 א ('ashreiy, Blessed) Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Adonai’s Torah ·Teaching·.
Alef. Blagor poštenim na potu, kateri hodijo po postavi Gospodovi.
2 א ('ashreiy, Blessed) Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart.

Tedaj se ne osramotim, ko bodem gledal vse zapovedi tvoje.
7 א ('odka, Shall give thanks) I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.
Slavil te bodem s pravim srcem; učil se sodbâ pravice tvoje.

Ti blagoslavljeni Gospod, uči me postave svoje.
13 בּ (Baruch, Blessed) With my lips, I have declared all the judgments of your mouth.
Z ustnami svojimi preštevam vse pravice tvojih ust,
14 בּ (Bees'pati, With my lips) I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
Veselim se pota pričanj tvojih, kakor vseh zakladov.
15 בּ (Bideirek', In the way) I will meditate on your precepts, and consider your ways.
Zapovedi tvoje premišljujem in gledam steze tvoje.

22 גּ (Gal, Take) Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I have kept your testimonies.

23 גּ (Gam, Also) Though princes sit and slander me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.
Tedaj prvaki sedé in govoré zoper mene, hlapec tvoj premišlja postave tvoje.

Dalet. V prahu tiči življenje moje, živega me ohrani po besedi svoji.
26 דּ (Diraki, My ways) I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.
Pota svoja sem prešteval, in ti si me uslišal; úči me postave svoje.
27 דּ (Derek'-pekoodeyka, Way-of your precepts) Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.
Daj, da umem pot zapovedi tvojih, da premišljam čuda tvoja.
28 דּ (Dal'pah, Melts) My soul is weary with sorrow: strengthen me according to your word.
Od otožnosti solzi duša moja, dvigni me po besedi svoji.
29 דּ (Derek'-sheker, Way-of false) Keep me from the way of deceit. Teach me your Torah ·Teaching· in your favor!
Krivičnosti pot odvrni od mene, in zakon svoj mi podéli milostno.
30 דּ (Derek'-'emoonah, Way-of truth) I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your judgments before me.
Resnice pot volim, sodbe tvoje imam pred očmi.
31 דּ (Dabak'tiy, I cling) I cling to your testimonies, Adonai. Don’t let me be disappointed.

Nagni srce moje k postavam svojim, in ne k dobičku.
37 ה (Ha'a'beir, Turn away) Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.
Odvrni oči moje, da ne gledajo ničemurnosti; po potih tvojih daj da živim.
38 ה (Hakeim, Establish) Fulfill your promise to your servant, that you may be feared.

42 ו (Vi’e’eneh, And answer) So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.
Odgovoril bodem njemu, ki me sramoti, kakor je; ker zaupanje imam v besedo tvojo.
43 ו (Vi'al-tatzeil, And do not take) Don’t snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your judgments.
Ali od ust mojih ne odvzemi besede svoje resnične; ker pravic tvojih čakam.
44 ו (Vi'esh’m’rah, And I will keep) So I will obey your Torah ·Teaching· continually, forever and ever.
In spolnjeval bodem zakon tvoj vedno, vekomaj in vekomaj.

50 ז(Zo’t, This) This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

51 ז (Zeideem, Arrogant) The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your Torah ·Teaching·.

52 ז (Zakhar’tiy, I remembered) I remember your judgments of old, Adonai, and have comforted myself.

53 ז (Zal’’apah, Burning indignation) Indignation has taken hold on me, because of the wicked who forsake your Torah ·Teaching·.
Vihar me grabi od krivičnih, ki zapuščajo zakon tvoj.
54 ז (Zimerovt, My songs) Your statutes have been my songs, in the house where I live.

Pota svoja premišljam, da obračam noge svoje po pričanjih tvojih.
60 ח (Chash’tiy, I hastened) I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your mitzvot ·instructions·.

61 ח (Cheb’ley, Cords / Ropes) The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won’t forget your Torah ·Teaching·.
Krdela krivičnih me plenijo, a postave tvoje ne zabim.
62 ח (Cha’tzot-li’lah, At mid-night) At midnight I will rise to yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, because of your righteous judgments.
O polunoči vstajam slavit te, zavoljo zapovedi tvojih pravičnih.
63 ח (Chaber, Companion) I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.

Izvrstnost pameti in vednosti me úči; ker zapovedim tvojim verujem.
67 ט (Terem, Before) Before I was afflicted, I deviated to mental error, unintentional sin ·error·; but now I observe your word.
Ko nisem še govoril, motil sem se; sedaj pa spolnjujem govor tvoj.
68 ט (Tov-’atah, Good-you are) You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.
Dober si in dobrotljiv, úči me postave svoje.
69 ט (Tap’lu, Have forged) The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.
Ko zvijačo napravljajo zoper mene prevzetniki, jaz iz vsega srca hranim povelja tvoja.
70 ט (Tapash, Is covered) Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Torah ·Teaching·.
Debelí se kakor z mastjo njih srce; jaz se zakona tvojega radujem.
71 ט (Tov-liy, Good-for me) It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.

79 י (Yashooboo, They will turn) Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your testimonies.

Srce moje bode pošteno v postavah tvojih, da se ne osramotim.
81 כּ (Kal’tah, Yearns) My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

90 ל (L’dor, To generation) Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.
Od roda do roda zvestoba tvoja; ko si ustanavljal zemljo, stala je ona.
91 ל (L’mish’pate’ka, To your judgment) Your judgments remain to this day, for all things serve you.

Vekomaj ne pozabim povelj tvojih, ker z njimi hraniš me živega.

Razumnejši postajam od vseh učenikov svojih; ker pričanja tvoja so premišljevanje moje.

Razumnejši sem od starcev, ker hranim povelja tvoja.

Od vsake hudobne steze zadržujem noge svoje, da spolnjujem besedo tvojo.
102 מ (Mimish’pateyka, From your ordinances) I have not turned aside from your judgments, for you have taught me.
Od sodbâ tvojih se ne ganem, ker ti me učiš.
103 מ (Mah-nim’l’tzu, How-sweet) How sweet are your promises to my taste, more than honey to my mouth!
Kako sladki so mojemu grlu govori tvoji! sladkejši od medú ustom mojim.

116 ס (Sam’kheiniy, Sustain) Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Podpiraj me po govoru svojem, da živim; in ne osramoti me v nadi moji.
117 ס (S’’adiniy, Uphold) Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.

119 ס (Sigiym, Dross) You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I 'ahav ·affectionately love· your testimonies.
Kakor žlindro odpravljaš vse krivične sè zemlje; zatorej ljubim pričanja tvoja.

Od strahú pred teboj trepeče meso moje; tako me je strah tvojih sodbâ.
121 ע (‘Asitiy, I have done) I have done what is mishpat ·just· and upright. Don’t leave me to my oppressors.
Hajin. Po sodbi delam in pravici; ne izročaj me njim, ki me stiskajo.

Noge moje utrdi v govoru svojem, in ne daj da gospoduje kaka krivica z menoj.

Ukazal si pravična pričanja svoja, in silno zvesta.

Od gorečnosti svoje ginem, ker besede tvoje zabijo sovražniki moji.

Zatiranje in stiska me obhajati; ukazi tvoji so razveseljevanje moje.

Dasì je mnogo preganjalcev mojih in sovražnikov mojih, od pričanj tvojih ne krenem.
