Psalms 118
1 Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
Oslavujte Hospodina, nebo jest dobrý, nebo na věky trvá milosrdenství jeho.
2 Let Israel [God prevails] now say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
Rciž nyní, Izraeli, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
3 Let the house of Aaron [Light-bringer] now say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
Rciž nyní, dome Aronův, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
4 Now let those who fear Adonai say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
Rcetež nyní bojící se Hospodina, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
5 Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom.
V úzkosti vzýval jsem Hospodina, a vyslyšev, uprostrannil mi Hospodin.
6 With Adonai on my side. I will not be afraid. What can a human being do to me?
Hospodin se mnou, nebudu se báti. Co mi může učiniti člověk?
7 Adonai is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
Hospodin se mnou jest mezi pomocníky mými, pročež já podívám se těm, kteříž mne mají v nenávisti.
8 It is better to take refuge in Adonai, than to put confidence in man.
Lépe jest doufati v Hospodina, než naději skládati v člověku.
9 It is better to take refuge in Adonai, than to put confidence in princes.
Lépe jest doufati v Hospodina, nežli naději skládati v knížatech.
10 All the nations surrounded me, but in Adonai’s name, I cut them off.
Všickni národové obklíčili mne, ale ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
11 They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Adonai’s name I indeed cut them off.
Mnohokrát obklíčili mne, ale ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
12 They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Adonai’s name I cut them off.
Ssuli se na mne jako včely, však zhasli jako oheň z trní: nebo ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
13 You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but Adonai helped me.
Velmi jsi ztuha na mne dotíral, abych padl, ale Hospodin spomohl mi.
14 Yah is my strength and song. He has become my yishu'ah ·salvation·.
Síla má a písnička má jest Hospodin, on byl můj vysvoboditel.
15 The voice of rejoicing and yishu'ah ·salvation· is in the tents of the upright. “The right hand of Adonai does valiantly.
Hlas prokřikování a spasení v staních spravedlivých. Pravice Hospodinova dokázala síly,
16 The right hand of Adonai is exalted! The right hand of Adonai does valiantly!”
Pravice Hospodinova vyvýšila se, pravice Hospodinova dokázala síly.
17 I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works.
Neumruť, ale živ budu, abych vypravoval skutky Hospodinovy.
18 Yah has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
Trestaltě mne přísně Hospodin, ale smrti mne nevydal.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Yah.
Otevřetež mi brány spravedlnosti, a vejda do nich, oslavovati budu Hospodina.
20 This is the gate of Adonai; the upright will enter into it.
Tať jest brána Hospodinova, kterouž spravedliví vcházejí.
21 I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, for you have answered me, and have become my yishu'ah ·salvation·.
Tuť já tě oslavovati budu, nebo jsi mne vyslyšel, a byls můj vysvoboditel.
22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the corner-stone.
Kámen, kterýž zavrhli stavitelé, učiněn jest v hlavu úhelní.
23 This is Adonai’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.
Od Hospodina stalo se to, a jest divné před očima našima.
24 This is the day that Adonai has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
Tentoť jest den, kterýž učinil Hospodin, a protož radujme se a veselme se v něm.
25 Save us now, we beg you, Adonai! Adonai, we beg you, send prosperity now.
Prosím, Hospodine, zachovávejž již; prosím, Hospodine, dávej již šťastný prospěch.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai! We have blessed you out of Adonai’s house.
Požehnaný, jenž se béře ve jménu Hospodinovu; dobrořečíme vám z domu Hospodinova.
27 Adonai is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.
Bůh silný Hospodin, onť se zasvítil nám, važte beránky až k rohům oltáře.
28 You are my God, and I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.
Bůh silný můj ty jsi, protož slaviti tě budu, Bože můj, vyvyšovati tě budu.
29 Oh yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
Oslavujtež Hospodina, neboť jest dobrý, nebo na věky milosrdenství jeho.
