Psalms 115
1 Not to us, Adonai, not to us, but to your name give kavod ·weighty glory·, for your chesed ·loving-kindness·, and for your truth’s sake.
Не нам, Господи, не нам, Но на Своето име дай слава, Заради милостта си и заради верността Си.
2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
Защо да рекат народите: Где е сега техният Бог?
3 But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
Нашият Бог е на небето; Прави всичко що Му е угодно.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
Техните идоли са сребро и злато, Направа на човешките ръце.
5 They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
Уста имат, но не говорят; Очи имат, но не виждат;
6 They have ears, but they don’t sh'ma ·hear obey·. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
Уши имат, но не чуват: Ноздри имат, но не миришат;
7 They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
Ръце имат, но не пипат; Нозе имат, но не ходят; Нито издават глас от гърлото си.
8 Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
Подобни на тях ще станат ония, които ги правят, Както и всеки, който уповава на тях.
9 Israel [God prevails], trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
Израилю, уповавай на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.
10 House of Aaron [Light-bringer], trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
Доме Ааронов, уповавайте на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.
11 You who fear Adonai, trust in Adonai! He is their help and their shield.
Вие, които се боите от Господа, уповавайте на Господа; Той е тяхна помощ и щит.
12 Adonai remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel [God prevails]. He will bless the house of Aaron [Light-bringer].
Господ си спомни за нас; ще ни благослови; Ще благослови Израилевия дом; Ще благослови Аароновия дом.
13 He will bless those who fear Adonai, both small and great.
Ще благослови ония, които се боят от Господа, И малки и големи.
14 May Adonai increase you more and more, you and your children.
Дано Господ ви умножава повече и повече - Вас и чадата ви.
15 Blessed are you by Adonai, who made heaven and earth.
Благословени сте вие от Господа, Който е направил небето и земята.
16 The heavens are the heavens of Adonai; but the earth has he given to the children of men.
Небесата са небеса на Господа; А земята Той даде на човешките чада,
17 The dead don’t Halleluyah ·praise Yah·, neither any who go down into silence;
Мъртвите не хвалят Господа, Нито ония, които слизат в мястото на мълчанието;
18 But we will bless Yah, from this time forward and forever more. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
Но ние ще благославяме Господа От сега и до века. Алилуя.
