Psalms 106
1 Praise Adonai! Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद देओ, किनकि उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ, किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Adonai, or sh'ma ·hear obey, fully declare· all his praise?
परमप्रभुको शक्तिशाली कामहरू कसले वर्णन गर्न सक्छ वा उहाँ सबै प्रशंसाननिय कामहरू कसले घोषणा गर्न सक्छ र?
3 Blessed are those who keep mishpat ·justice·. Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.
जे ठिक छ सो गर्नेहरू र जसका कामहरू सधैं न्यायोचित हुन्छन्, तिनीहरू धन्यका होऊन् ।
4 Remember me, Adonai, with the favor that you show to your people. Visit me with your yishu'ah ·salvation·,
हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई कृपा गर्नुहुँदा मलाई समम्झनुहोस् । तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनुहुँदा मलाई सहायता गर्नुहोस् ।
5 that I may see the prosperity of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.
तब तपाईंका चुनिएकाहरूको फलिफाप म हेर्नेछु, तपाईंको जातिको खुसीमा आनन्दित हुनेछु र तपाईंको उत्तराधिकारसँगै महिमित हुनेछु ।
6 We have sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)· with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. We have been condemned as guilty.
हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूले झैं हामीले पाप गरेका छौं । हामीले गल्ती गरेका छौं र हामीले खराबी गरेका छौं ।
7 Our fathers didn’t understand your wonders in Egypt [Abode of slavery]. They didn’t remember the multitude of your chesed ·loving-kindnesses·, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea].
हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूले मिश्रदेशमा तपाईंका अचम्मका कामहरूको कदर गरेनन् । तिनीहरूले तपाईंका करारको विश्वस्तताका धेरै कामहरूलाई बवास्ता गरे । तिनीहरू लाल समुद्रमा विद्रोही भए ।
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power known.
तापनि, उहाँले आफ्नो नाउँको खातिर तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनुभयो ताकि उहाँले आफ्नो शक्ति प्रकट गर्न सक्नुभएको होस् ।
9 He rebuked the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea] also, and it was dried up; so he led them through the depths, as through a desert.
उहाँले लाल समुद्रलाई हप्कानुभयो र त्यो सुक्यो । अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई उजाडस्थानमा झैं समुद्रको गहिराइमा डोर्याउनुभयो ।
10 He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूको हातबट उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनुभयो र शत्रुहरूका हातबाट उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई छुट्टाउनुभयो ।
11 The waters covered their adversaries. There was not one of them left.
तर तिनीहरूका वैरीहरूलाई पानीले छोप्यो । तिनीहरूमध्ये एक जना पनि बाँचेन ।
12 Then they trusted his words. They sang his tehilah ·praise song·.
तब तिनीहरूले उहाँको वचनमा विश्वास गरे र तिनीहरूले उहाँको स्तुति गाए ।
13 They soon forgot his works. They didn’t wait for his counsel,
तर उहाँले जे गर्नुभएको थियो त्यो तिनीहरूले तुरुन्तै बिर्से । तिनीहरूले उहाँको सल्लाहको निम्ति पर्खेनन् ।
14 but gave in to craving in the desert, and tested God in the wasteland.
उजाडस्थानमा तिनीहरूमा असन्तुष्ट इच्छाहरू थिए र तिनीहरूले मरुभूमिमा परमेश्वरलाई चुनौति दिए ।
15 He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
त्यसैले तिनीहरूले जे मागे उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई त्यही दिनुभयो, तर उहाँले तिनीहरूमाथि डरलाग्दो रोग पठाउनुभयो ।
16 They envied Moses [Drawn out] also in the camp, and Aaron [Light-bringer], Adonai’s saint.
छाउनीमा तिनीहरू परमप्रभुका पवित्र पुजारी मोशा र हारूनप्रति डाही बने ।
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
पृथ्वीले खुल्यो र दातानलाई निल्यो र अबीरामको पछि लाग्नेहरूलाई ढाकिदियो ।
18 A fire was kindled in their company. The flame burned up the wicked.
तिनीहरू माझमा आगो सल्कियो । त्यो आगोले दुष्टहरूलाई भष्म पार्यो ।
19 They made a calf in Horeb [Desert], and hawa ·bowed low, prostrated· worshiped a molten image.
तिनीहरूले होरेबा एउटा बाछो बनाए र धातुको मूर्तीको आकृति पुजे ।
20 Thus they exchanged their kavod ·weighty glory· for an image of a bull that eats grass.
तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको महिमालाई घाँस खाने साँढेको प्रतिमासँग साटे ।
21 They forgot God, their source of salvation, who had done great things in Egypt [Abode of slavery],
तिनीहरूले आफ्ना उद्धारकर्तालाई बिर्से जसले मिश्रदेशमा महान् कामहरू गर्नुभएको थियो ।
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion], and awesome things by the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea].
उहाँले हामको देशमा अचम्मका कामहरू र लाल समुद्रमा शक्तिशाली कामहरू गर्नुभएको थियो ।
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had Moses [Drawn out], his chosen, not stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, so that he would not destroy them.
त्यसैले उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई नाश गर्छु भन्नुहुँदा—तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट गर्ने उहाँको रिस हटाउनलाई उहाँको चुनिएको जन मोशा धाँदोमा खडा भए ।
24 Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t trust his word,
त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले फलवन्त देशलाई घृणा गरे । तिनीहरूले उहाँको प्रतिज्ञामा विश्वास गरेनन्,
25 but murmured in their tents, and didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· Adonai’s voice.
तर आफ्ना पालहरूमा गनगन गरे र पमरप्रभुको आज्ञा पालन गरेनन् ।
26 Therefore he swore to them that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,
यसकारण उहाँले आफ्नो हात उठाउनुभयो र तिनीहरूसित शपथ खानुभयो, कि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई मरुभूमिमा नै मर्न दिनुहुनेछ,
27 that he would overthrow their offspring among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरूलाई जातिहरूका माझमा तितरबितर पार्नहुनेछ, र तिनीहरूलाई विदेशहरूमा छरपष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ ।
28 They joined themselves also to Baal Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
तिनीहरूले पोरको बाललाई पुजा गरे र मृतकलाई चढाइएको बलिहरू खाए ।
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds. The plague broke in on them.
तिनीहरूले आफ्ना कामहरूले उहाँलाई रिस उठाए र तिनीहरू माझमा एउटा रुढी फैलियो ।
30 Then Pinchas [Bronze skin] stood up, and executed judgment, so the plague was stopped.
तब मध्यस्थ गर्न पीनहास उठे र रूढी थामियो ।
31 That was credited to him for righteousness, for all generations to come.
यो तिनको निम्ति सबै पुस्तासम्म सदाको निम्ति धार्मिकता गनियो ।
32 They angered him also at the waters of Meribah [Quarreling], so that Moses [Drawn out] was troubled for their sakes;
तिनीहरूले मेरीबको पानीमा पनि परमप्रभुलाई रिस उठाए र तिनीहरूका कारणले मोशाले कष्ट भोगे ।
33 because they were rebellious against his spirit, he spoke rashly with his lips.
तिनीहरूले मोशालाई तिक्त बनाए र तिनले हतारमा बोले ।
34 They didn’t destroy the peoples, as Adonai ordered them to do,
परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई आज्ञा गरेअनुसार तिनीहरूले जातिहरूलाई नष्ट पारेनन्,
35 but mixed themselves with the nations, and learned their works.
तर तिनीहरू जातिहरूसँग मसिए र तिनीहरूका मार्गहरू सिके,
36 They abad ·served· their idols, which became a snare to them.
र तिनीहरूका मूर्तीहरूको पुजा गरे जुन तिनीहरूको निम्ति पासो बन्यो ।
37 Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
तिनीहरूले आफ्ना छोरा र छोरीहरू भुत आत्माहरूलाई बलि चढाए ।
38 They shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan [Humbled]. The land was polluted with blood.
तिनीहरूले निर्दोष रगतको, अर्थात् आफ्ना छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका रगत बगाए, जुन तिनीहरूले कनानको मूर्तीहरूलाई बलि चढाएर रगतले देशलाई अशुद्ध पारे ।
39 Thus were they defiled with their works, and prostituted themselves in their deeds.
तिनीहरू आफ्ना कामहरूले अशुद्ध भए । तिनीहरूका कामहरूले तिनीहरू वेश्याजस्तै भए ।
40 Therefore Adonai burned with anger against his people. He abhorred his inheritance.
त्यसैले परमप्रभु आफ्ना मानिसहरूसँग रिसाउनुभयो र उहाँले आफ्नै मानिसहरूलाई घृणा गर्नुभयो ।
41 He gave them into the hand of the nations. Those who hated them ruled over them.
उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जातिहरूका हातमा सुम्पिनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि राज्य गरे ।
42 Their enemies also oppressed them. They were brought into subjection under their hand.
तिनीहरूका शत्रुहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि थिचोमिचो गरे, र तिनीहरूलाई आफ्ना अधिकारीको अधीनमा पारियो ।
43 Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their depravity (moral evil).
तिनीहरूलाई सहायता गर्न उहाँ धेरैपल्ट आउनुभयो, तर तिनीहरूले निरन्तर विद्रोह गरे र तिनीहरूका आफ्नै पापले तल पारिए ।
44 Nevertheless he regarded their distress, when he sh'ma ·heard obeyed· their cry.
तापनि, सहायताको निम्ति तिनीहरूका पुकारा उहाँले सुन्नुहुँदा उहाँले तिनीहरूका संकष्टमा ध्यान दिनुभयो ।
45 He remembered for them his covenant, and relented according to the multitude of his chesed ·loving-kindnesses·.
उहाँले तिनीहरूसँगको आफ्नो करारलाई सम्झिनुभयो र आफ्नो अटल प्रेमको कारणले नरम हुनुभयो ।
46 He made them also to be shown rachamim ·compassionate loves· by all those who carried them captive.
तिनीहरूका सबै विजेतालाई तिनीहरूमाथि दया गर्ने उहाँले बनाउनुहुन्थ्यो ।
47 Save us, Adonai, our God, gather us from among the nations, yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your holy name, to triumph in your tehilah ·praise song·!
हे परमप्रभु, हाम्रा परमेश्वर, हामीलाई बचाउनुहोस् । हामीलाई जातिहरूको माझबाट भेला गर्नुहोस्, ताकि तपाईंको पवित्र नाउँमा हामी धन्यवाद दिन र तपाईंका प्रशंसाहरूमा गर्व गर्न सकौं।
48 Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel [God prevails], from everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen ·So be it·.” Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
इस्राएलका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको अनादिदेखि अनन्तसम्म स्तुति होस् । सबै मानिसहरूले भने, “आमेन ।” परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा होस् ।
