Proverbs 31
1 The words of king Lemuel; the revelation which his mother taught him.
ଲମୂୟେଲ ରାଜାର କଥା: ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତାହାର ମାତା ତାହାକୁ ଯାହା ଶିଖାଇଥିଲା, ସେହି ଭାରୋକ୍ତି।
2 “Oh, my son! Oh, son of my womb! Oh, son of my vows!
ହେ ମୋହର ପୁତ୍ର, ହେ ମୋʼ ଗର୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର, ହେ ମୋʼ ମାନତର ପୁତ୍ର, କଅଣ କହିବି?
3 Don’t give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ବଳ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ, ଅବା ରାଜାମାନେ ଯହିଁରେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ତହିଁରେ ଗତି କର ନାହିଁ।
4 It is not for kings, Lemuel; it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes to say, ‘Where is strong drink?’
ହେ ଲମୂୟେଲ, ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ, ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କର ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ; କିଅବା ମଦ୍ୟ କାହିଁ ବୋଲି କହିବା ଭୂପତିମାନଙ୍କର ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।
5 lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the justice due to anyone who is afflicted.
ସେମାନେ ପାନ କଲେ, ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପାସୋରି ଦୁଃଖୀସନ୍ତାନ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ବିଚାର ବିପରୀତ କରିବେ।
6 Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish; and wine to the bitter in soul:
ମୃତକଳ୍ପ ଲୋକକୁ ମଦ୍ୟ ଦିଅ ଓ ତିକ୍ତମନା ଲୋକକୁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଦିଅ।
7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
ସେ ଲୋକ ପାନ କରି ଆପଣା ଦରିଦ୍ରତା ପାସୋରୁ ଓ ଆପଣା କ୍ଳେଶ ଆଉ ମନରେ ନ କରୁ।
8 Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate.
ଘୁଙ୍ଗା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ, ସମସ୍ତ ଅନାଥଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ, ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଅ।
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy.”
ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଇ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ବିଚାର କର, ପୁଣି, ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କର ସୁବିଚାର କର।
10 א (Woman-virtuous) Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies.
ଗୁଣବତୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କିଏ ପାଇ ପାରେ? ମୁକ୍ତାଠାରୁ ହିଁ ତାହାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଅଧିକ।
11 בּ (Trusts) Her husband trusts in her from his heart, and she will prove a great asset to him.
ତାହାର ସ୍ୱାମୀର ହୃଦୟ ତାହାଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରେ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ଲାଭର ଅଭାବ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
12 גּ (Does) She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.
ସେ ଜୀବନଯାଏ ସ୍ୱାମୀର କ୍ଷତି ନ କରି ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରେ।
13 דּ (Seeks) She seeks wool and flax, and works eagerly with her hands.
ସେ ମେଷଲୋମ ଓ ମସିନା ଖୋଜି ସନ୍ତୋଷରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତରେ କର୍ମ କରେ।
14 ה (She) She is like the merchant ships. She brings her bread from afar.
ସେ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ-ଜାହାଜ ତୁଲ୍ୟ; ସେ ଦୂରରୁ ଆପଣା ଆହାର ଆଣେ।
15 ו (Rises) She rises also while it is yet night, gives food to her household, and chokim ·portions· for her servant girls.
ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ରାତ୍ରି ଥାଉ ଥାଉ ଉଠେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପରିଜନ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରେ ଓ ଦାସୀଗଣଙ୍କୁ ନିରୂପିତ କର୍ମ ଦିଏ।
16 ז (Considers) She considers a field, and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard.
ସେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ବିଷୟ ବୁଝି ତାହା କିଣେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତର ଫଳ ଦେଇ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରୋପଣ କରେ।
17 ח (Grids) She arms her waist with strength, and makes her arms strong.
ସେ ବଳରେ ଆପଣା ଅଣ୍ଟା ବାନ୍ଧେ ଓ ଆପଣା ବାହୁ ବଳବାନ କରେ।
18 ט (Perceives) She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out by night.
ଆପଣା ବ୍ୟାପାର ଯେ ଲାଭଜନକ, ଏହା ସେ ବୁଝେ; ପୁଣି, ରାତ୍ରିକାଳରେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଲିଭିଯାଏ ନାହିଁ।
19 י (Hands) She lays her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
ସେ ଚରଖାକୁ ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଏ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ତାକୁଡ଼ି ଧରେ।
20 כּ (Hands) She opens her arms to the poor; yes, she extends her hands to the needy.
ସେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୁକ୍ତହସ୍ତା ହୁଏ ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଏ।
21 ל (Not-afraid) She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
ସେ ହିମ ଲାଗି ଆପଣା ପରିବାର ବିଷୟରେ ଭୟ କରେ ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାର ସିନ୍ଦୂର ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧନ୍ତି।
22 מ (Coverings) She makes for herself carpets of tapestry. Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
ସେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚିତ୍ରବିଚିତ୍ର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରେ, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଶୁଭ୍ର କ୍ଷୌମବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଧୂମ୍ରବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧେ।
23 נ (Known) Her husband is respected in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.
ତାହାର ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଦେଶୀୟ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ବସିବା ବେଳେ ଚିହ୍ନାଯାଏ।
24 ס (linen) She makes linen garments and sells them, and delivers sashes to the merchant.
ସେ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ବିକ୍ରୟ କରେ, ପୁଣି, ବଣିକମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ କଟିବନ୍ଧନ ସମର୍ପଣ କରେ।
25 ע (Strength) Strength and dignity are her clothing. She laughs at the time to come.
ବଳ ଓ ଶୋଭା ତାହାର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ପୁଣି, ଭବିଷ୍ୟତକାଳ ବିଷୟରେ ସେ ହାସ୍ୟ କରେ।
26 פּ (Mouth) She opens her mouth with wisdom. Instructions of chesed ·loving-kindness· is on her tongue.
ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫିଟାଏ; ତାହାର ଜିହ୍ୱାରେ ଦୟାର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଥାଏ।
27 צ (Looks) She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
ସେ ଆପଣା ପରିବାରର ଆଚରଣରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରେ, ପୁଣି, ଆଳସ୍ୟର ଆହାର ଖାଏ ନାହିଁ।
28 ק (Rise up) Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband too, as he praises her:
ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଉଠି ତାହାକୁ ଧନ୍ୟ ଧନ୍ୟ କହନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାର ସ୍ୱାମୀ ହିଁ ତାହାକୁ (ଏରୂପ) ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରେ;
29 ר (Many) “Many women have done noble things, but you excel them all.”
“ଅନେକ କନ୍ୟା ଗୁଣ ଦେଖାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ।”
30 שׁ (Deceitful) Chen ·Charm, Grace· is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Adonai, she shall be praised.
ଲାବଣ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାଜନକ ଓ ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅସାର; ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ, ସେ ପ୍ରଶଂସିତା ହେବ।
31 תּ (Give) Give her of the fruit of her hands! Let her works speak her praise at the city gates!
ତାହାର ହାତର ଫଳ ତାହାକୁ ଦିଅ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ନିଜ କର୍ମ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ।
