< Proverbs 14 >
1 Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.

2 He who walks in his uprightness fears Adonai, but he who is perverse in his ways despises him.

3 The fool’s talk brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.

4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, but much increase is by the strength of the ox.

5 A truthful witness will not lie, but a false witness pours out lies.
Ishenchlik guwahchi yalghan éytmas; Saxta guwahchi yalghan gepni nepestek tinar.
6 A scoffer seeks wisdom, and does not find it, but knowledge comes easily to a discerning person.
Hakawurlar danaliq izdep tapalmas; Biraq yorutulghan ademge bilim élish asan’gha chüsher.
7 Stay away from a foolish man, for you won’t find knowledge on his lips.
Birawning aghzida bilim yoqluqini bilip yetkende, Uningdin özüngni néri tart.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.
Eqil-parasetlik kishining danaliqi öz yolini oylinishtidur; Exmeqlerning eqilsizliki bolsa özlirining aldinishidur.
9 Fools mock at making atonement for faults incurring guilt, but among the upright there is good will.

10 The heart knows its own bitterness and joy; he will not share these with a stranger.

11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
Yamanning öyi örülüp chüsher; Heqqaniy ademning chédiri güllinip kéter.
12 There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
Adem balisigha toghridek körünidighan bir yol bar, Lékin aqiwiti halaketke baridighan yollardur.
13 Even in laughter the heart may be sorrowful, and mirth may end in heaviness.
Oyun-külke bolsa qelbtiki ghem-qayghuni yapar, Xushalliq ötüp ketkende, ghem-qayghu yenila qalar.
14 The unfaithful will be repaid for his own ways; likewise a good man will be rewarded for his ways.
Toghra yoldin burulup yan’ghan adem haman öz yolidin toyar; Yaxshi adem öz ishidin qanaetliner.
15 A simple man trusts everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways.
Saddilar hemme gepke ishinip kéter; Lékin pem-parasetlik kishi herbir qedemni awaylap basar.
16 A wise man fears, and shuns evil, but the fool is hot headed and reckless.
Dana adem éhtiyatchan bolup awarichiliktin néri kéter; Exmeq hakawurluq qilip, özige ishinip aldigha mangar.
17 He who is quick to become angry will commit folly, and a crafty man is hated.
Térikkek exmeqliq qilar; Neyrengwaz adem nepretke uchrar.
18 The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Saddilar exmeqliqqa warisliq qilar; Pem-parasetlikler bilimni öz taji qilar.
19 The evil bow down before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the upright.
Yamanlar yaxshilarning aldida igiler; Qebihler heqqaniyning derwaziliri aldida [bash urar].
20 The poor person is shunned even by his own neighbor, but the rich person has many 'ahav ·affectionate lovers, friends·.
Namrat kishi hetta öz yéqinighimu yaman körüner. Bayning dosti bolsa köptur.
21 He who despises his neighbor sins ·errs (the standard goal)·, but blessed is he who has mercy on the poor.
Yéqinini pes körgen gunahkardur; Lékin miskinlerge rehim qilghan beriket tapar.
22 Don’t they go astray who plot evil? But chesed ·loving-kindness· and faithfulness belong to those who plan good.
Yamanliq oylighanlar yoldin adashqanlardin emesmu? Biraq yaxshiliq oylighanlar rehim-shepqet, heqiqet-sadiqliqqa muyesser bolar.
23 In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty.
Hemme méhnettin payda chiqar; Biraq quruq paranglar ademni mohtajliqta qaldurar.
24 The crown of the wise is their riches, but the folly of fools crowns them with folly.
Aqilaniler üchün bayliqlar bir tajdur; Exmeqlerning nadanliqidin peqet yene shu nadanliqla chiqar.
25 A truthful witness saves souls, but a false witness is deceitful.
Heqqaniy guwahliq bergüchi kishilerning hayatini qutquzar; Yalghan-yawidaq sözleydighan [guwahchi] yalghan gepni nepestek tinar.
26 In the fear of Adonai is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children.
Perwerdigardin qorqidighanning küchlük yölenchüki bar, Uning balilirimu himayige ige bolar.
27 The fear of Adonai is a fountain of life, turning people from the snares of death.
Perwerdigardin qorqush hayatning buliqidur; U kishini ejellik tuzaqlardin qutquzar.
28 In the multitude of people is the king’s glory, but in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.
Padishahning shan-sheripi puqrasining köplikidindur; Puqrasining kemliki emirning halakitidur.
29 He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
Éghir-bésiq kishi intayin aqil kishidur; Chéchilghaq exmeqliqni ulughlar.
30 The life of the body is a heart at peace, but envy rots the bones.
Xatirjem köngül tenning saqliqidur; Hesret chékish bolsa söngeklerni chiritar.
31 He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who honors him shows mercy to the needy.
Miskinni bozek qilghuchi — Perwerdigargha haqaret qilghuchidur; Hajetmenlerge shapaet qilish Uni hörmetligenliktur.
32 The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the upright has a refuge.
Yaman öz yamanliqi ichide yiqitilar; Heqqaniy adem hetta sekratta yatqandimu xatirjem bolar.
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, and is even made known in the inward part of fools.
Yorutulghan kishining könglide danaliq yatar; Biraq exmeqning könglidikisi ashkara bolmay qalmas.
34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but habitual sin ·missing the mark· is a chesed ·disgrace· to any people.
Heqqaniyet herqaysi elni yuqiri kötürer; Gunah herqandaq milletni nomusqa qaldurar.
35 The king’s favor is toward a servant who deals wisely, but his wrath is toward one who causes shame.
Padishahning iltipati eqilliq xizmetkarning béshigha chüsher; Biraq uning ghezipi nomusta qaldurghuchi uyatsiz xizmetkarining béshigha chüsher.
