All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, “For I will go down to Sheol ·Place of the dead· to my son mourning.” His father wept for him. (Sheol )
He said, “My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he only is left. If harm happens to him along the way in which you go, then you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol ·Place of the dead·.” (Sheol )
If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol ·Place of the dead·.’ (Sheol )
it will happen, when he sees that the boy is no more, that he will die. Your servants will bring down the gray hairs of your servant, our father, with sorrow to Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
But if Adonai makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up, with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol ·Place of the dead·; then you shall understand that these men have despised Adonai.” (Sheol )
So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol ·Place of the dead·. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly. (Sheol )
For a fire is kindled in my anger, that burns to the lowest Sheol ·Place of the dead·, devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire. (Sheol )
For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol ·Place of the dead·, who shall yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you? (Sheol )
י The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol ·Place of the dead·, even all the nations that forget God. (Sheol )
For you will not leave my soul in Sheol ·Place of the dead·, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption. (Sheol )
The cords of Sheol ·Place of the dead· were around me. The snares of death came on me. (Sheol )
Adonai, you have brought up my soul from Sheol ·Place of the dead·. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol). (Sheol )
Let me not be disappointed, Adonai, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
They are appointed as a flock for Sheol ·Place of the dead·. Death shall be their shepherd. The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. Their beauty shall decay in Sheol ·Place of the dead·, far from their mansion. (Sheol )
But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol ·Place of the dead·, for he will receive me. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·. (Sheol )
Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol ·Place of the dead·. For wickedness is among them, in their dwelling. (Sheol )

Her house is the way to Sheol ·Place of the dead·, going down to the rooms of death. (Sheol )
But he does not know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
Sheol ·Place of the dead· and Abaddon ·Destruction, Unrighteous side of Sheol· are before Adonai, how much more then the hearts of the children of men! (Sheol )
The path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep him from going downward to Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
Punish him with the rod, and save his soul from Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
Sheol ·Place of the dead· and Abaddon ·bottomless pit· are never satisfied; and a man’s eyes are never satisfied. (Sheol )
Sheol ·Place of the dead·, the barren rachamim ·wombs / bowels of compassions·; the earth that is not satisfied with water; and the fire that does not say, ‘Enough.’ (Sheol )
Therefore Sheol ·Place of the dead· has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without chok ·portion·; and their glory, their multitude, their pomp, and he who rejoices among them, descend into it. (Sheol )
“Ask a sign of Adonai your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.” (Sheol )
Sheol ·Place of the dead· from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the departed spirits for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (Sheol )
Your pomp is brought down to Sheol ·Place of the dead·, with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are spread out under you, and worms cover you. (Sheol )
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol ·Place of the dead·, to the depths of the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol). (Sheol )
“Because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with death, and with Sheol ·Place of the dead· are we in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’” (Sheol )
Your covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol ·Place of the dead· shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it. (Sheol )
I said, “In the middle of my life I go into the gates of Sheol ·Place of the dead·. I am deprived of the residue of my years.” (Sheol )
For Sheol ·Place of the dead· can’t yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· unto you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol) can’t hope for your truth. (Sheol )
You went to the king with oil, and increased your perfumes, and sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca! ·Vain, empty, worthless, to spit upon, good-for-nothing·!’ will be in danger of the Sanhedrin ·Sitting together·; and whoever says, ‘Fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). If your right eye causes you to scandalize ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). (Geenna )
If your right hand causes you to scandalize ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). (Geenna )
Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). (Geenna )
You, Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will go down to Hades / Sh'ol ·Place of the dead·. For if the mighty works had been done in Sodom [Burning] which were done in you, it would have remained until today. (Hadēs )
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against Ruach haKodesh [Spirit, Breath of the Holiness], it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come. (aiōn )
What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )
The enemy who sowed them is the devil [Accuser]. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. (aiōn )
As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age. (aiōn )
So will it be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the upright, (aiōn )
I also tell you that you are Peter [Rock], and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades / Sh'ol ·Place of the dead· will not prevail against it. (Hadēs )
If your hand or your foot causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. (aiōnios )
If your eye causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) of fire. (Geenna )
Behold, one came to him and said, “Good Rabbi ·Teacher·, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” (aiōnios )
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life. (aiōnios )
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away. (aiōn )
Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one convert; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) as yourselves. (Geenna )
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead)? (Geenna )
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?” (aiōn )
Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil [Accuser] and his angels; (aiōnios )
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the upright into eternal life.” (aiōnios )
teaching them to observe all things that I have enjoined unto you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen ·So be it·. (aiōn )

If your hand causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead), into the unquenchable fire, (Geenna )
If your foot causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead), into the fire that will never be quenched— (Geenna )
If your eye causes you to be scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into God’s Kingdom with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) of fire, (Geenna )
As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Rabbi ·Teacher·, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life. (aiōn , aiōnios )

They begged him that he would not command them to go into the abyss, the bottomless netherworld. (Abyssos )

In Hades / Sh'ol ·Place of the dead·, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham [Father of a multitude] far off, and Lazarus [Help of God] at Abraham's bosom, (the righteous side of Sheol). (Hadēs )
A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Rabbi ·Teacher·, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios )
who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage. (aiōn )
But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. (aiōn )
that whoever trusts in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
For God has agapao ·total devotion love· to the inhabitants of the earth, so he gave his one and only Son, that whoever trusts in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
One who trusts in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” (aiōnios )
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios )

Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)], the living manna ·what is it· which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this manna, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (aiōn )
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )

Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind. (aiōn )
I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Whoever lives and trusts in me will never die. Do you trust this?” (aiōn )
He who phileo ·affectionately loves, has high regard for· his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life. (aiōnios )
The multitude answered him, “We have learned from the Torah ·Teaching· that the Messiah [Anointed one] remains forever. How do you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn )
I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as haAbba ·the Father· has said to me, so I speak.” (aiōnios )
Peter [Rock] said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.” (aiōn )
I will pray to haAbba ·the Father·, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, (aiōn )
even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. (aiōnios )
This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Yeshua Messiah [Salvation Anointed one]. (aiōnios )
