Mark 6
1 He went out from there. He came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.
[Jesus] partiu-se dali, veio à sua terra, e seus discípulos o seguiram.
2 When the Sabbath ·To cease· had come, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things?” and, “What is the wisdom that is given to this man, that such mighty works come about by his hands?
E chegando o sábado, começou a ensinar na sinagoga; e muitos, quando o ouviram, espantavam-se, dizendo: De onde lhe [vem] estas coisas? E que sabedoria é esta que lhe foi dada? E tais maravilhas feitas por suas mãos?
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary [Rebellion], and brother of James [Surplanter], Joses, Judah [Praised], and Simeon [Hearing]? Are not his sisters here with us?” They were scandalized ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant· at him.
Não é este o carpinteiro, filho de Maria, e irmão de Tiago, de José, de Judas, e de Simão? E não estão aqui as suas irmãs conosco? E ofenderam-se nele.
4 Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house.”
E Jesus lhes dizia: Todo profeta tem honra, menos em sua terra, entre os parentes, e em sua própria casa.
5 He could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people, and healed them.
Ele não pôde ali fazer milagre algum, a não ser somente para uns poucos enfermos, sobre os quais pôs as mãos e os curou.
6 He marveled because of their unbelief. He went around the villages teaching.
E ficou admirado da incredulidade deles. Ele percorreu as aldeias do redor, ensinando.
7 He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
E chamou a si os doze, e começou a enviar de dois em dois; e deu-lhes poder sobre os espíritos imundos.
8 He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no brass coin money in their purse,
E mandou-lhes que não tomassem nada para o caminho, a não ser somente um bordão; nem bolsa, nem pão, nem dinheiro no cinto;
9 but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.
mas que calçassem sandálias, e não se vestissem de duas túnicas.
10 He said to them, “Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.
E dizia-lhes: Onde quer que entrardes em alguma casa, ficai ali até que dali saiais.
11 Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom [Burning] and Gomorrah [Rebellious people, Tyrants] in the day of judgment than for that city!”
E todos os que não vos receberem, nem vos ouvirem, quando sairdes dali, sacudi o pó que estiver debaixo de vossos pés, em testemunho contra eles.
12 They went out and preached that people should teshuvah ·turn repent·.
Eles, então, se foram, e pregaram que [as pessoas] se arrependessem.
13 They cast out many demons, and anointed many with oil who were sick, and healed them.
Eles expulsaram muitos demônios, e a muitos enfermos ungiram com azeite, e os curaram.
14 King Herod [Heroic] heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, “John [Yah is gracious] the Immerser has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him.”
O rei Herodes ouviu falar disso (porque o nome de [Jesus] já era notório). E diziam: João Batista ressuscitou dos mortos, e por isso estas maravilhas operam nele.
15 But others said, “He is Elijah [My God Yah].” Others said, “He is a prophet, or like one of the prophets.”
Outros diziam: É Elias; e outros diziam: É profeta, como algum dos profetas.
16 But Herod [Heroic], when he heard this, said, “This is John [Yah is gracious], whom I beheaded. He has risen from the dead.”
Quando, porém, Herodes ouviu falar disso, falou: Ele é João, de quem cortei a cabeça. Ele ressuscitou.
17 For Herod [Heroic] himself had sent out and arrested John [Yah is gracious], and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip [Loves horses]’s wife, for he had married her.
Pois o próprio Herodes havia mandado prender João, e acorrentá-lo na prisão, por causa de Herodias, mulher do seu irmão Filipe, porque havia se casado com ela.
18 For John [Yah is gracious] said to Herod [Heroic], “It violates the Torah ·Teaching· for you to marry your brother’s wife.”
Pois João dizia a Herodes: Não te é lícito possuir a mulher do teu irmão.
19 Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill him, but she couldn’t,
Assim Herodias o odiava, e queria matá-lo, mas não podia,
20 for Herod [Heroic] feared John [Yah is gracious], knowing that he was a upright and holy man, and kept him safe. When he heard him, he did many things, and he heard him gladly.
pois Herodes temia João, sabendo que era um homem justo e santo, e o estimava. E quando o ouvia, ficava muito perplexo, o ouvia de boa vontade.
21 Then a convenient day came, that Herod [Heroic] on his birthday made a supper for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of Galilee [District, Circuit].
Mas veio um dia oportuno, em que Herodes, no dia do seu aniversário, dava uma ceia aos grandes de sua corte, aos comandantes militares, e aos principais da Galileia.
22 When the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod [Heroic] and those sitting with him. The king said to the young lady, “Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.”
Então a filha dessa Herodias entrou dançando, e agradou a Herodes e aos que estavam sentados com ele. O rei disse à garota: Pede-me quanto quiseres, que eu darei a ti.
23 He swore to her, “Whatever you shall ask of me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom.”
E jurou a ela: Tudo o que me pedirdes te darei, até a metade do meu reino.
24 She went out, and said to her mother, “What shall I ask?” She said, “The head of John [Yah is gracious] the Immerser.”
Então ela saiu, e perguntou à sua mãe: Que pedirei? E ela respondeu: A cabeça de João Batista.
25 She came in immediately with haste to the king, and asked, “I want you to give me right now the head of John [Yah is gracious] the Immerser on a platter.”
E entrando ela logo apressadamente ao rei, pediu, dizendo: Quero que imediatamente me dês num prato a cabeça de João Batista.
26 The king was exceedingly sorry, but for the sake of his oaths, and of his dinner guests, he didn’t wish to refuse ·to set aside, neutralize, violate, cast off, nullify, make void· her.
E o rei entristeceu-se muito; [mas], por causa dos juramentos, e dos que estavam juntamente à mesa, não quis recusar a ela.
27 Immediately the king sent out a soldier of his guard, and commanded to bring John [Yah is gracious]’s head, and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
Então logo o rei enviou o executor com a ordem de trazer ali sua cabeça. Ele, foi, e o decapitou na prisão.
28 and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the young lady; and the young lady gave it to her mother.
Em seguida, trouxe a sua cabeça num prato, e o deu à garota; e a garota a deu à sua mãe.
29 When his disciples heard this, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
Quando os discípulos dele ouviram isso, vieram, pegaram o seu cadáver, e o puseram num sepulcro.
30 The apostles gathered themselves together to Yeshua [Salvation], and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught.
Os apóstolos juntaram-se [de volta] a Jesus, e contaram-lhe tudo, tanto o que haviam feito, como o que haviam ensinado.
31 He said to them, “You come apart into a deserted place, and rest awhile.” For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
E ele lhes disse: Vinde vós à parte a um lugar deserto, e descansai um pouco; pois havia muitos que iam e vinham, e não tinham tempo para comer.
32 They went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.
E foram-se num barco a um lugar deserto à parte.
33 They saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to him.
Mas os viram ir, e muitos o reconheceram. Então correram para lá a pé de todas as cidades, chegaram antes deles.
34 Yeshua [Salvation] came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
Quando [ Jesus ] saiu [do barco], viu uma grande multidão, e teve compaixão deles porque eram como ovelhas que não têm pastor. Assim, começou a lhes ensinar muitas coisas.
35 When it was late in the day, his disciples came to him, and said, “This place is deserted, and it is late in the day.
E quando já era tarde, os seus discípulos vieram a ele, e disseram: O lugar é deserto, e a hora já é tarde.
36 Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages, and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.”
Despede-os, para eles irem aos campos e aldeias circunvizinhos, e comprarem comida.
37 But he answered them, “You give them something to eat.” They asked him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii (200 days wages) worth of bread, and give them something to eat?”
Mas ele respondeu: Dai-lhes vós mesmos de comer. E eles lhe responderam: Iremos, e compraremos duzentos denários de pão, para lhes darmos de comer?
38 He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go see.” When they knew, they said, “Five, and two fish.”
E ele lhes disse: Quantos pães tendes? Ide ver. Quando souberam, disseram: Cinco, e dois peixes.
39 He commanded them that everyone should sit down in groups on the green grass.
E mandou-lhes que fizessem sentar a todos em grupos sobre a grama verde.
40 They sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties.
E sentaram-se repartidos de cem em cem, e de cinquenta em cinquenta.
41 He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.
Ele tomou os cinco pães e os dois peixes, levantou os olhos ao céu, abençoou, e partiu os pães, e os deu aos discípulos, para que os pusessem diante deles. E os dois peixes repartiu com todos.
42 They all ate, and were filled.
Todos comeram e se saciaram.
43 They took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and also of the fish.
E dos pedaços de pão e dos peixes levantaram doze cestos cheios.
44 Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.
Os que comeram os pães eram cinco mil homens.
45 Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away.
Logo depois, ordenou seus discípulos a subirem no barco, e ir adiante para o outro lado, em Betsaida, enquanto ele despedia a multidão.
46 After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.
E, depois de os despedir, foi ao monte para orar.
47 When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land.
Ao anoitecer, o barco estava no meio do mar, e [Jesus] sozinho em terra.
48 Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about four o'clock in the morning he came to them, walking on the sea, and he would have passed by them,
E viu que se cansavam muito remando, porque o vento lhes era contrário. Então, perto da quarta vigília da noite, veio a eles andando sobre o mar, e queria passar por eles.
49 but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;
Mas quando eles o viram andando sobre o mar, pensaram que era uma fantasma, e gritaram,
50 for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, “Take heart! Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)]! Don’t be afraid.”
pois todos o viam, e ficaram perturbados. Então logo falou com eles, dizendo: Tende coragem! Sou eu, não tenhais medo.
51 He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled;
E subiu a eles no barco, e o vento se aquietou. Eles ficaram muito espantados entre si,
52 for they hadn’t understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.
pois não haviam entendido o que tinha acontecido com os pães, em vez disso o coração deles estava endurecido.
53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore.
Eles terminaram de atravessar o mar, chegaram à terra de Genesaré, e ali aportaram.
54 When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him,
Quando eles saíram do barco, logo [as pessoas] o reconheceram.
55 and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick, on their mats, to where they heard he was.
Então gente de toda a região em redor veio correndo, e começaram a trazer em camas os doentes, aonde quer que ouviam que ele estava.
56 Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch just the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well.
E aonde quer que ele entrava, em povoados, cidades, ou aldeias, colocavam os enfermos nas praças, e rogavam-lhe que ao menos tocassem a borda de sua roupa; e todos os que o tocavam ficavam sarados.
