Luke 20
1 On one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, the priests and Torah-Teachers came to him with the elders.
१एक दिन ऐसा हुआ कि जब वह मन्दिर में लोगों को उपदेश देता और सुसमाचार सुना रहा था, तो प्रधान याजक और शास्त्री, प्राचीनों के साथ पास आकर खड़े हुए।
2 They asked him, “Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”
२और कहने लगे, “हमें बता, तू इन कामों को किस अधिकार से करता है, और वह कौन है, जिसने तुझे यह अधिकार दिया है?”
3 He answered them, “I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
३उसने उनको उत्तर दिया, “मैं भी तुम से एक बात पूछता हूँ; मुझे बताओ
4 the mikvah ·ritual washing baptism· of John [Yah is gracious], was it from heaven, or from men?”
४यूहन्ना का बपतिस्मा स्वर्ग की ओर से था या मनुष्यों की ओर से था?”
5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you trust him?’
५तब वे आपस में कहने लगे, “यदि हम कहें, ‘स्वर्ग की ओर से,’ तो वह कहेगा; ‘फिर तुम ने उस पर विश्वास क्यों नहीं किया?’
6 But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John [Yah is gracious] was a prophet.”
६और यदि हम कहें, ‘मनुष्यों की ओर से,’ तो सब लोग हमें पथराव करेंगे, क्योंकि वे सचमुच जानते हैं, कि यूहन्ना भविष्यद्वक्ता था।”
7 They answered that they didn’t know where it was from.
७अतः उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, “हम नहीं जानते, कि वह किसकी ओर से था।”
8 Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
८यीशु ने उनसे कहा, “तो मैं भी तुम्हें नहीं बताता कि मैं ये काम किस अधिकार से करता हूँ।”
9 He began to tell the people this parable. “A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.
९तब वह लोगों से यह दृष्टान्त कहने लगा, “किसी मनुष्य ने दाख की बारी लगाई, और किसानों को उसका ठेका दे दिया और बहुत दिनों के लिये परदेश चला गया।
10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
१०नियुक्त समय पर उसने किसानों के पास एक दास को भेजा, कि वे दाख की बारी के कुछ फलों का भाग उसे दें, पर किसानों ने उसे पीटकर खाली हाथ लौटा दिया।
11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
११फिर उसने एक और दास को भेजा, ओर उन्होंने उसे भी पीटकर और उसका अपमान करके खाली हाथ लौटा दिया।
12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
१२फिर उसने तीसरा भेजा, और उन्होंने उसे भी घायल करके निकाल दिया।
13 The lord of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my agapetos ·beloved, esteemed· son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.’
१३तब दाख की बारी के स्वामी ने कहा, ‘मैं क्या करूँ? मैं अपने प्रिय पुत्र को भेजूँगा, क्या जाने वे उसका आदर करें।’
14 “But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’
१४जब किसानों ने उसे देखा तो आपस में विचार करने लगे, ‘यह तो वारिस है; आओ, हम उसे मार डालें, कि विरासत हमारी हो जाए।’
15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
१५और उन्होंने उसे दाख की बारी से बाहर निकालकर मार डाला: इसलिए दाख की बारी का स्वामी उनके साथ क्या करेगा?
16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard it, they said, “May it never be!”
१६“वह आकर उन किसानों को नाश करेगा, और दाख की बारी दूसरों को सौंपेगा।” यह सुनकर उन्होंने कहा, “परमेश्वर ऐसा न करे।”
17 But he looked at them, and said, “Then what is this that is written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief corner-stone'?
१७उसने उनकी ओर देखकर कहा, “फिर यह क्या लिखा है: ‘जिस पत्थर को राजमिस्त्रियों ने निकम्मा ठहराया था, वही कोने का सिरा हो गया।’
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust.”
१८“जो कोई उस पत्थर पर गिरेगा वहचकनाचूर हो जाएगा, और जिस पर वह गिरेगा, उसको पीस डालेगा।”
19 The chief priests and the Torah-Teachers sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people— for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
१९उसी घड़ी शास्त्रियों और प्रधान याजकों ने उसे पकड़ना चाहा, क्योंकि समझ गए थे, कि उसने उनके विरुद्ध दृष्टान्त कहा, परन्तु वे लोगों से डरे।
20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be upright, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
२०और वे उसकी ताक में लगे और भेदिए भेजे, कि धर्मी का भेष धरकर उसकी कोई न कोई बात पकड़ें, कि उसे राज्यपाल के हाथ और अधिकार में सौंप दें।
21 They asked him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, we know that you say and teach what is right, and are not partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
२१उन्होंने उससे यह पूछा, “हे गुरु, हम जानते हैं कि तू ठीक कहता, और सिखाता भी है, और किसी का पक्षपात नहीं करता; वरन् परमेश्वर का मार्ग सच्चाई से बताता है।
22 Does Torah ·Teaching· permit us to pay taxes to Caesar [Ruler], or not?”
२२क्या हमें कैसर को कर देना उचित है, कि नहीं?”
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?
२३उसने उनकी चतुराई को ताड़कर उनसे कहा,
24 Show me a denarius [one day’s wage]. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered, “Caesar’s [Ruler]’s.”
२४“एक दीनार मुझे दिखाओ। इस पर किसकी छाप और नाम है?” उन्होंने कहा, “कैसर का।”
25 He said to them, “Then give to Caesar [Ruler] the things that are Caesar’s [Ruler]’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
२५उसने उनसे कहा, “तो जो कैसर का है, वह कैसर को दो और जो परमेश्वर का है, वह परमेश्वर को दो।”
26 They were not able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer, and were silent.
२६वे लोगों के सामने उस बात को पकड़ न सके, वरन् उसके उत्तर से अचम्भित होकर चुप रह गए।
27 Some of the Sadducees [Morally-upright] came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
२७फिर सदूकी जो कहते हैं, कि मरे हुओं का जी उठना है ही नहीं, उनमें से कुछ ने उसके पास आकर पूछा।
28 They asked him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, Moses [Drawn out] wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
२८“हे गुरु, मूसा ने हमारे लिये यह लिखा है, ‘यदि किसी का भाई अपनी पत्नी के रहते हुए बिना सन्तान मर जाए, तो उसका भाई उसकी पत्नी से विवाह कर ले, और अपने भाई के लिये वंश उत्पन्न करे।’
29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
२९अतः सात भाई थे, पहला भाई विवाह करके बिना सन्तान मर गया।
30 The second took her as wife, and he died childless.
३०फिर दूसरे,
31 The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
३१और तीसरे ने भी उस स्त्री से विवाह कर लिया। इसी रीति से सातों बिना सन्तान मर गए।
32 Afterward the woman also died.
३२सब के पीछे वह स्त्री भी मर गई।
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife.”
३३अतः जी उठने पर वह उनमें से किसकी पत्नी होगी, क्योंकि वह सातों की पत्नी रह चुकी थी।”
34 Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
३४यीशु ने उनसे कहा, “इस युग के सन्तानों में तो विवाह-शादी होती है, (aiōn g165)
35 But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
३५पर जो लोग इस योग्य ठहरेंगे, की उस युग को और मरे हुओं में से जी उठना प्राप्त करें, उनमें विवाह-शादी न होगी। (aiōn g165)
36 For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
३६वे फिर मरने के भी नहीं; क्योंकि वे स्वर्गदूतों के समान होंगे, और पुनरुत्थान की सन्तान होने से परमेश्वर के भी सन्तान होंगे।
37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses [Drawn out] showed at the bush, when Yahweh said ‘The God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter].’
३७परन्तु इस बात को कि मरे हुए जी उठते हैं, मूसा ने भी झाड़ी की कथा में प्रगट की है, वह प्रभु को ‘अब्राहम का परमेश्वर, और इसहाक का परमेश्वर, और याकूब का परमेश्वर’ कहता है।
38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”
३८परमेश्वर तो मुर्दों का नहीं परन्तु जीवितों का परमेश्वर है: क्योंकि उसके निकट सब जीवित हैं।”
39 Some of the Torah-Teachers answered, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, you speak well.”
३९तब यह सुनकर शास्त्रियों में से कितनों ने कहा, “हे गुरु, तूने अच्छा कहा।”
40 They didn’t dare to ask him any more questions.
४०और उन्हें फिर उससे कुछ और पूछने का साहस न हुआ।
41 He said to them, “Why do they say that the Messiah [Anointed one] is David [Beloved]’s son?
४१फिर उसने उनसे पूछा, “मसीह को दाऊद की सन्तान कैसे कहते हैं?
42 For David [Beloved] himself says in the book of Psalms [Praises],
४२दाऊद आप भजन संहिता की पुस्तक में कहता है: ‘प्रभु ने मेरे प्रभु से कहा, मेरे दाहिने बैठ,
43 ‘Yahweh said to 'adoni ·my Lord·, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’
४३जब तक कि मैं तेरे बैरियों को तेरे पाँवों तले की चौकी न कर दूँ।’
44 “David [Beloved] therefore calls him 'adoni ·my Lord·, in what way can he be his son?”
४४दाऊद तो उसे प्रभु कहता है; तो फिर वह उसकी सन्तान कैसे ठहरा?”
45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
४५जब सब लोग सुन रहे थे, तो उसने अपने चेलों से कहा।
46 “Beware of the Torah-Teachers, who like to walk in long robes, and phileo ·affectionately love, have high regard for· greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
४६“शास्त्रियों से सावधान रहो, जिनको लम्बे-लम्बे वस्त्र पहने हुए फिरना अच्छा लगता है, और जिन्हें बाजारों में नमस्कार, और आराधनालयों में मुख्य आसन और भोज में मुख्य स्थान प्रिय लगते हैं।
47 who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation.”
४७वे विधवाओं के घर खा जाते हैं, और दिखाने के लिये बड़ी देर तक प्रार्थना करते रहते हैं, ये बहुत ही दण्ड पाएँगे।”
