Leviticus 23
1 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 “Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘The set feasts of Adonai, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis-leur: Quant aux solennités de l'Éternel, que vous annoncerez comme saintes convocations, voici quelles sont mes solennités.
3 “‘Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Shabath ·Intermission· of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Shabath ·Intermission· to Adonai in all your dwellings.
Six jours les affaires se feront, mais le septième jour ce sera jour solennel de repos, sainte convocation; vous ne vaquerez à aucune affaire, c'est le sabbat de l'Éternel, dans toutes vos demeures.
4 “‘These are the set feasts of Adonai, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.
Voici les solennités de l'Éternel, les saintes convocations que vous annoncerez en leur temps:
5 In the first month Nissan ·Miracles (in Aramaic), 1·, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Adonai’s Pesac ·Passover·.
le premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, dans la soirée, ce sera Pâque en l'honneur de l'Éternel.
6 On the fifteenth day of the same month is the festival of Matzah ·Unleavened bread· to Adonai. Seven days you shall eat matzah ·unleavened bread·.
Et le quinzième jour de ce mois, ce sera la fête des azymes en l'honneur de l'Éternel: durant sept jours vous mangerez des azymes.
7 In the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular aboda ·service·.
Le premier jour vous aurez sainte convocation, vous ne ferez aucun travail d'affaires.
8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Adonai seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular aboda ·service·.’”
Et durant sept jours vous offrirez à l'Éternel des sacrifices ignés; le septième jour il y aura sainte convocation, vous ne ferez aucun travail d'affaires.
9 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse et dit:
10 “Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Quand vous serez entrés au pays que je vous donne, et que vous voudrez en récolter les moissons, vous apporterez au Prêtre la gerbe, prémices de votre moisson.
11 and he shall wave the sheaf before Adonai, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Shabath ·Intermission· the priest shall wave it.
Et il présentera la gerbe par agitation devant l'Éternel en votre faveur; c'est le lendemain du Sabbat que le Prêtre l'offrira de cette manière.
12 On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without defect a year old for a burnt offering to Adonai.
Et le jour où vous ferez agiter la gerbe, vous sacrifierez un agneau d'un an sans défaut, en holocauste à l'Éternel,
13 The meal offering with it shall be one tenth of an ephah [two omers; 4.6 q; 4.4 L] of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to Adonai for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.2 L].
y ajoutant comme offrande deux dixièmes de fleur de farine trempée d'huile comme sacrifice igné pour l'Éternel, d'un parfum agréable, et comme libation de vin, un quart de hin.
14 You must not eat bread, or roasted grain, or fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a regulation forever throughout all your generations in all your dwellings.
Et vous ne mangerez ni pain, ni grain rôti ou concassé jusqu'à ce jour-là même où vous aurez présenté l'oblation à votre Dieu; c'est une règle perpétuelle à suivre dans tous vos âges et dans toutes vos demeures.
15 “‘You shall count from the next day after the Shabath ·Intermission·, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Shab'totay ·Intermissions· shall be completed:
Puis comptez à partir du lendemain du Sabbat, du jour où vous offrez la gerbe par agitation, sept semaines pleines;
16 even to the next day after the seventh Shabath ·Intermission· you shall count fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Adonai.
jusqu'au lendemain du septième sabbat vous compterez cinquante jours; alors vous présenterez une offrande nouvelle à l'Éternel.
17 You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of one tenth of an ephah [two omers; 4.6 q; 4.4 L] of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Adonai.
De vos demeures vous apporterez des pains pour les offrir par agitation; il y aura deux pains de deux dixièmes de fleur de farine, boulangés avec du levain: ce seront des prémices pour l'Éternel.
18 You shall present with the bread seven lambs without defect a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to Adonai, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Adonai.
Et outre le pain vous offrirez sept agneaux d'un an sans défaut, et un jeune taureau et deux béliers, qui seront un holocauste pour l'Éternel, avec leur offrande et leurs libations respectives, comme sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.
19 You shall offer one male goat for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
Et vous offrirez un bouc comme victime expiatoire, et deux agneaux d'un an comme sacrifice pacifique.
20 The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Adonai, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Adonai for the priest.
Et le Prêtre les agitera avec le pain prémices, comme offrande agitée devant l'Éternel, en même temps que les deux agneaux; ils seront consacrés à l'Éternel pour le Prêtre.
21 You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular aboda ·service·. This is a regulation forever in all your dwellings throughout all your generations.
Vous convoquerez pour cette journée-là; ce sera pour vous une sainte convocation; vous ne vaquerez à aucun travail d'affaires; c'est une règle perpétuelle à suivre dans toutes vos demeures et dans tous vos âges.
22 “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you must not wholly reap into the corners of your field, and you must not gather the gleanings of your harvest. You must leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am Adonai your God.’”
Et quand vous récolterez la moisson de votre pays, tu ne moissonneras point entièrement les angles de ton champ, et tu ne ramasseras point la glanure après ta moisson; tu l'abandonneras au pauvre et à l'étranger. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
23 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
24 “Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], saying, ‘In the seventh month Ethanim ·Ever-flowing durable stream (in Hebrew), 7· or Tishrei ·[Beginning (in Babylonian)]·, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of shofarot ·ram horns·, a holy convocation.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël en ces termes: Le septième mois, le premier jour du mois, vous aurez grand jour de repos, rappel au son des trompettes, sainte convocation.
25 You shall do no regular aboda ·service·; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Adonai.’”
Vous ne ferez aucun travail d'affaires et vous offrirez des sacrifices ignés à l'Éternel.
26 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
27 “However on the tenth day of this seventh month Ethanim ·Ever-flowing durable stream (in Hebrew), 7· or Tishrei ·[Beginning (in Babylonian)]· is Yom-Kippur ·Day of Atonement·: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Adonai.
Mais le dixième jour de ce septième mois, ce sera le jour des propitiations; vous aurez alors sainte convocation, et vous humilierez vos âmes, et vous offrirez des sacrifices ignés à l'Éternel,
28 You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is Yom-Kippur ·Day of Atonement·, to make atonement for you before Adonai your God.
et en ce jour-là vous ne vaquerez à aucune affaire, car c'est le jour des propitiations destiné à faire propitiation pour vous devant l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
29 For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people.
Car toute personne qui ne s'humiliera pas en ce jour-là, sera éliminée du sein de son peuple.
30 Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
Et toute personne qui ce jour-là vaquera à une affaire quelconque, je l'exterminerai du milieu de son peuple.
31 You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout all your generations in all your dwellings.
Vous vous abstiendrez de tout travail: c'est une règle perpétuelle à suivre dans tous vos âges et dans toutes vos demeures.
32 It shall be a Shabath ·Intermission· of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Shabath ·Intermission·.”
Vous aurez sabbat solennel et humilierez vos âmes le neuvième jour du mois, le soir; vous chômerez votre sabbat d'un soir à l'autre soir.
33 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
34 “Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month Ethanim ·Ever-flowing durable stream (in Hebrew), 7· or Tishrei ·[Beginning (in Babylonian)]· is the festival of Sukkot ·Booths· for seven days to Adonai.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis: Le quinzième jour de ce septième mois on fera pendant sept jours la fête des cabanes en l'honneur de l'Éternel.
35 On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular aboda ·service·.
Le premier jour il y aura sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucun travail d'affaires.
36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Adonai. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Adonai. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular aboda ·service·.
Durant sept jours vous offrirez des sacrifices ignés à l'Éternel; le huitième jour vous aurez sainte convocation et vous offrirez un sacrifice igné à l'Éternel: c'est une assemblée solennelle; vous ne ferez aucun travail d'affaires.
37 “‘These are the appointed feasts of Adonai, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to Adonai, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;
Telles sont les solennités de l'Éternel que vous annoncerez comme saintes convocations pour offrir des sacrifices ignés à l'Éternel, des holocaustes et des offrandes, des victimes et des libations, chaque jour l'ordinaire du jour,
38 besides the Shabath ·Intermission· of Adonai, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your free will offerings, which you give to Adonai.
outre les Sabbats de l'Éternel, et outre tous vos dons, toutes vos oblations votives et volontaires que vous ferez à l'Éternel.
39 “‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month Ethanim ·Ever-flowing durable stream (in Hebrew), 7· or Tishrei ·[Beginning (in Babylonian)]·, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the festival of Adonai seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
Mais le quinzième jour du septième mois, lorsque vous ferez rentrer les produits du pays, vous célébrerez la fête de l'Éternel pendant sept jours: vous chômerez le premier jour et vous chômerez le huitième jour.
40 You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Adonai your God seven days.
Et le premier jour vous vous pourvoirez de fruits de beaux arbres et de palmes et de rameaux d'arbres touffus et de saules de rivière,
41 You shall keep it a feast to Adonai seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout all your generations. You shall keep it in the seventh month Ethanim ·Ever-flowing durable stream (in Hebrew), 7· or Tishrei ·[Beginning (in Babylonian)]·.
et vous vous réjouirez devant l'Éternel votre Dieu, durant sept jours. Et vous célébrerez ainsi la fête de l'Éternel sept jours par année; c'est une règle perpétuelle pour vos générations; vous la célébrerez le septième mois.
42 You shall dwell in sukkot ·temporary tents· seven days. All who are native-born in Israel [God prevails] shall dwell in a sukkah ·temporary tent·,
Pendant sept jours vous logerez dans des cabanes; tous les indigènes en Israël logeront dans des cabanes,
43 that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel [God prevails] to dwell in sukkot ·temporary tents·, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. I am Adonai your God.’”
afin que vos races futures sachent que j'ai fait loger dans des cabanes les enfants d'Israël lorsque je les tirai du pays d'Egypte. Je suis l'Éternel votre Dieu.
44 Moses [Drawn out] declared to the children of Israel [God prevails] the appointed feasts of Adonai.
Et Moïse indiqua les solennités de l'Éternel aux enfants d'Israël.
