John 10
1 “Most certainly, I tell you, one who does not enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Amin, Amini nawaambieni, yule asiyeingia kwa kupitia mlango wa zizi la kondoo, lakini anapanda kwa njia nyingine, mtu huyo ni mwizi na mnyang'anyi.
2 But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Yeye aingiaye mlangoni ni mchungaji wa kondoo.
3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
Kwake mlinzi wa mlango humfungulia. Kondoo waisikia sauti yake na huwaita kondoo zake kwa majina yao na kuwatoa nje.
4 Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Atakapowatoa nje hao walio wake, huwatangulia, na kondoo humfuata, kwa sababu wanaijua sauti yake.
5 They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”
Hawatamfuata mgeni lakini badala yake watamuepuka, kwa sababu hawazijui sauti za wageni.”
6 Yeshua [Salvation] spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them.
Yesu alisema mfano huu kwao, lakini hawakuyaelewa mambo haya ambayo alikuwa akisema kwao.
7 Yeshua [Salvation] therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the sheep’s door.
Yesu akasema nao tena, “Amini, amini, nawaambia, Mimi ni mlango wa kondoo.
8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them.
Wote walionitangulia ni wezi na wanyang'anyi, lakini kondoo hawakuwasikiliza.
9 Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.
Mimi ni mlango. Yeyote aingiaye kupitia kwangu, ataokolewa; ataingia ndani na kutoka, naye atajipatia malisho.
10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Mwizi haji isipokuwa kuiba, kuua, na kuangamiza. Nimekuja ili kwamba wapate uzima na wawe nao tele.
11 Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Mimi ni mchungaji mwema. Mchungaji mwema huutoa uhai wake kwa ajili ya kondoo.
12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them.
Mtumishi aliyeajiriwa, na siyo mchungaji, ambaye kondoo si mali yake, huwaona mbwa mwitu wakija na huwaacha na kuwakimbia kondoo.
13 The hired hand flees because he is a hired hand, and does not care for the sheep.
Na mbwa mwitu huwakamata na kuwatawanya. Hukimbia kwa sababu ni mtumishi wa kuajiriwa na hawajali kondoo.
14 Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;
Mimi ni mchungaji mwema, na ninawajua walio wangu, nao walio wangu wananijua mimi.
15 even as Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· knows me, and I know Abba Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
Baba ananijua, nami namjua Baba, nami nautoa uhai wangu kwa ajili ya kondoo.
16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
Ninao kondoo wengine ambao si wa zizi hili. Hao pia, yanipasa kuwaleta, nao wataisikia sauti yangu ili kwamba pawepo na kundi moja na mchungaji mmoja.
17 For this reason haAbba ·the Father· has agapao ·total devotion love· unto me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it again.
Hii ndiyo sababu Baba ananipenda: Niutoe uhai wangu halafu niutwae tena.
18 No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from 'Avi ·my Father·.”
Hakuna auchukuaye kutoka kwangu, lakini mimi nautoa mwenyewe. Ninayo mamlaka ya kuutoa, na ninayo mamlaka ya kuutwaa pia. Nimelipokea agizo hili kutoka kwa Baba.”
19 Therefore a division arose again among the Jews [Praisers] because of these words.
Mgawanyiko tena ukatokea kati ya wayahudi kwa sababu ya maneno haya.
20 Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane! Why do you listen to him?”
Wengi wao wakasema, “Ana pepo na ni kichaa. Kwa nini mnamsikiliza?”
21 Others said, “These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It is not possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?”
Wengine wakasema, “Haya siyo maneno ya mtu aliyepagawa na mapepo. Pepo linaweza kufungua macho ya kipofu?”
22 Then came the Festival of Chanukah ·Dedication· at Jerusalem [City of peace]. (This occurs in the ninth month Kislev ·Trust security / Folly, 9· 25th day to tenth month Tevet ·Ten (in Hebrew) / Good (In Aramaic), 10· 2nd day).

23 It was winter, and Yeshua [Salvation] was walking in the temple, in Solomon [Peaceable, Recompense]’s portico (where one can see the four giant menorahs).
Ulikuwa wakati wa baridi, na Yesu alikuwa akitembea hekaluni katika ukumbi wa Selemani.
24 The Jews [Praisers] therefore came around him and said to him, “How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Messiah [Anointed one], tell us plainly.”
Ndipo Wayahudi walipomzunguka na kumwambia, “Mpaka lini utatuweka katika mashaka? kama wewe ni Kristo, tuambie wazi.
25 Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I told you, and you don’t trust. The works that I do in 'Avi ·my Father·’s name, these testify about me.
Yesu akawajibu, “Nimekwisha waambia lakini hamuamini. Kazi nizifanyazo kwa jina la Baba yangu, hizo zinashuhudia juu yangu.
26 But you don’t trust, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.
Hata hivyo hamuamini kwa sababu ninyi si kondoo wangu.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Kondoo wangu waisikia sauti yangu; Nawajua, nao wanifuata mimi.
29 'Avi [My Father], who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of 'Avi ·my Father·’s hand.
Baba yangu, aliyenipa hao, ni mkuu kuliko wengine wote, na hakuna hata mmoja aliye na uwezo wa kuwanyakua kutoka mkononi mwa Baba.
30 I and Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· are one.”
Mimi na Baba tu mmoja.”
31 Therefore Jews [Praisers] took up stones again to stone him.
Wakabeba mawe ili wamponde tena.
32 Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I have shown you many good works from 'Avi ·my Father·. For which of those works do you stone me?”
Yesu akawajibu, “Nimeshawaonesha kazi nyingi nzuri kutoka kwa Baba. Kwa kazi zipi kati ya hizo mnataka kuniponda mawe?”
33 The Jews [Praisers] answered him, “We don’t stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God.”
Wayahudi wakamjibu, “Hatukupondi mawe kwa kazi yoyote iliyo nzuri, lakini kwa kukufuru, kwa sababu wewe, uliye mtu, unajifanya kuwa Mungu.”
34 Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “Is not it written in your Torah ·Teaching·, ‘I said, you are elohim ·judges, gods·?’
Yesu akawajibu, “Haikuandikwa katika sheria yenu, 'Nilisema, “Ninyi ni miungu”'?”
35 If he called the people 'elohim' ·judges, gods·, to whom the word of Elohim ·God· came (and the Scripture can’t be broken),
Ikiwa aliwaita miungu, kwa wale ambao Neno la Mungu liliwajilia (na Maandiko hayawezi kuvunjwa),
36 do you say of him whom haAbba ·the Father· sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·?’
mnasema juu ya yule ambaye Baba alimtoa na kumtuma katika ulimwengu, 'Unakufuru,' kwa sababu nilisema, 'mimi ni Mwana wa Mungu'?
37 If I don’t do the works of 'Avi ·my Father·, don’t trust me.
“Ikiwa sifanyi kazi za Baba yangu, msiniamini.
38 But if I do them, though you don’t trust me, trust the works; that you may know and trust that haAbba ·the Father· is in me, and I in Abba Father.”
Hata hivyo, ikiwa ninazifanya, hata kama hamniamini, ziaminini kazi ili kwamba muweze kujua na kufahamu kwamba Baba yuko ndani yangu na mimi niko ndani ya Baba.”
39 They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.
Wakajaribu tena kumkamata Yesu, lakini alienda zake kutoka mikononi mwao.
40 He went away again beyond the Jordan [Descender] into the place where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.
Yesu akaenda zake tena ng'ambo ya Yordani sehemu ambayo Yohana alikuwa akibatiza kwanza, na akakaa huko.
41 Many came to him. They said, “John [Yah is gracious] indeed did no sign, but everything that John [Yah is gracious] said about this man is true.”
Watu wengi wakaja kwa Yesu. Waliendelea kusema, “Yohana kweli hakufanya ishara yoyote, lakini mambo yote aliyoyasema Yohana juu ya huyu mtu ni ya kweli.”
42 Many trusted in him there.
Watu wengi wakamwamini Yesu hapo.
