Isaiah 44
1 Yet sh'ma ·hear obey· now, Jacob [Supplanter] my servant, and Israel [God prevails], whom I have chosen.
| اما الان‌ای بنده من یعقوب بشنو و‌ای اسرائیل که تو را برگزیده‌ام! | ۱ |
2 This is what Adonai who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says: “Don’t be afraid, Jacob [Supplanter] my servant; and you, Jeshurun [Upright one], whom I have chosen.
| خداوندکه تو را آفریده و تو را از رحم بسرشت و معاون تو می‌باشد چنین می‌گوید: ای بنده من یعقوب مترس! و‌ای یشرون که تو را برگزیده‌ام! | ۲ |
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Ruach ·Spirit, Breath· on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring:
| اینک بر(زمین ) تشنه آب خواهم ریخت و نهرهابرخشک. روح خود را بر ذریت تو خواهم ریخت و برکت خویش را بر اولاد تو. | ۳ |
4 and they will spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.
| و ایشان در میان سبزه‌ها، مثل درختان بید بر جویهای آب خواهندرویید. | ۴ |
5 One will say, ‘I am Adonai’s;’ and another will be called by the name of Jacob [Supplanter]; and another will write with his hand ‘to Adonai,’ and honor the name of Israel [God prevails].”
| یکی خواهد گفت که من از آن خداوندهستم و دیگری خویشتن را به نام یعقوب خواهدخواند و دیگری بدست خود برای خداوندخواهد نوشت و خویشتن را به نام اسرائیل ملقب خواهد ساخت. | ۵ |
6 This is what Adonai, the King of Israel [God prevails], and his Redeemer, Adonai Tzva'ot [Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies], says: “I am the first א (Aleph) Α (Alpha), and I am the last ת (Tav) Ω (Omega); and besides me there are no elohim ·gods, judges·.
| خداوند پادشاه اسرائیل و یهوه صبایوت که ولی ایشان است چنین می‌گوید: من اول هستم ومن آخر هستم و غیر از من خدایی نیست. | ۶ |
7 Who is like me? Who will call, and will declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? Let them declare the things that are coming, and that will happen.
| و مثل من کیست که آن را اعلان کند و بیان نماید و آن راترتیب دهد، از زمانی که قوم قدیم را برقرارنمودم. پس چیزهای آینده و آنچه را که واقع خواهد شد اعلان بنمایند. | ۷ |
8 Don’t fear, neither be afraid. Haven’t I sh'ma ·heard obeyed, declared· it to you long ago, and shown it? You are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? Indeed, there is not. I don’t know any other Rock.”
| ترسان و هراسان مباشید. آیا از زمان قدیم تو را اخبار و اعلام ننمودم و آیا شما شهود من نیستید؟ آیا غیر از من خدایی هست؟ البته صخره‌ای نیست و احدی را نمی شناسم.» | ۸ |
9 Everyone who makes an engraved image is vain. The things that they delight in will not profit. Their own witnesses don’t see, nor know, that they may be disappointed.
| آنانی که بتهای تراشیده می‌سازندجمیع باطلند و چیزهایی که ایشان می‌پسندندفایده‌ای ندارد و شهود ایشان نمی بینند ونمی دانند تا خجالت بکشند. | ۹ |
10 Who has fashioned a deity, or molds an image that is profitable for nothing?
| کیست که خدایی ساخته یا بتی ریخته باشد که نفعی ندارد؟ | ۱۰ |
11 Behold, all his fellows will be disappointed; and the workmen are mere men. Let them all be gathered together. Let them stand up. They will fear. They will be put to shame together.
| اینک جمیع یاران او خجل خواهند شد وصنعتگران از انسان می‌باشند. پس جمیع ایشان جمع شده، بایستند تا با هم ترسان و خجل گردند. | ۱۱ |
12 The blacksmith takes an ax, works in the coals, fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm. He is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint.
| آهن را با تیشه می‌تراشد و آن را در زغال کار می‌کند و با چکش صورت می‌دهد و با قوت بازوی خویش آن را می‌سازد و نیز گرسنه شده، بی‌قوت می‌گردد و آب ننوشیده، ضعف بهم می‌رساند. | ۱۲ |
13 The carpenter stretches out a line. He marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes. He marks it out with compasses, and shapes it like the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to reside in a house.
| چوب را می‌تراشد و ریسمان راکشیده، با قلم آن را نشان می‌کند و با رنده آن راصاف می‌سازد و با پرگار نشان می‌کند پس آن را به شبیه انسان و به جمال آدمی می‌سازد تا در خانه ساکن شود. | ۱۳ |
14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, and strengthens for himself one among the trees of the forest. He plants a cypress tree, and the rain nourishes it.
| سروهای آزاد برای خود قطع می‌کند و سندیان و بلوط را گرفته، آنها را ازدرختان جنگل برای خود اختیار می‌کند وشمشاد را غرس نموده، باران آن را نمو می‌دهد. | ۱۴ |
15 Then it will be for a man to burn; and he takes some of it, and warms himself. Yes, he burns it, and bakes bread. Yes, he makes a deity, and worships it; he makes it an engraved image, and falls down to it.
| پس برای شخص به جهت سوخت بکارمی آید و از آن گرفته، خود را گرم می‌کند و آن راافروخته نان می‌پزد و خدایی ساخته، آن رامی پرستد و از آن بتی ساخته، پیش آن سجده می‌کند. | ۱۵ |
16 He burns part of it in the fire. With part of it, he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. Yes, he warms himself, and says, “Aha! I am warm. I have seen the fire.”
| بعضی از آن را در آتش می‌سوزاند وبر بعضی گوشت پخته می‌خورد و کباب را برشته کرده، سیر می‌شود و گرم شده، می‌گوید: وه گرم شده، آتش را دیدم. | ۱۶ |
17 The rest of it he makes into a deity, even his engraved image. He bows down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, “Deliver me; for you are my deity!”
| و از بقیه آن خدایی یعنی بت خویش را می‌سازد و پیش آن سجده کرده، عبادت می‌کند و نزد آن دعا نموده، می‌گوید: مرا نجات بده چونکه تو خدای من هستی. | ۱۷ |
18 They don’t know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can’t see; and their hearts, that they can’t understand.
| ایشان نمی دانند و نمی فهمند زیرا که چشمان ایشان رابسته است تا نبینند و دل ایشان را تا تعقل ننمایند. | ۱۸ |
19 No one thinks, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned part of it in the fire. Yes, I have also baked bread on its coals. I have roasted meat and eaten it. Shall I make the rest of it into an abomination? Shall I bow down to a tree trunk?”
| و تفکر ننموده، معرفت و فطانتی ندارند تابگویند نصف آن را در آتش سوختیم و بر زغالش نیز نان پختیم و گوشت را کباب کرده، خوردیم پس آیا از بقیه آن بتی بسازیم و به تنه درخت سجده نماییم؟ | ۱۹ |
20 He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside; and he can’t deliver his soul, nor say, “Is not there a lie in my right hand?”
| خاکستر را خوراک خودمی سازد و دل فریب خورده او را گمراه می‌کند که جان خود را نتواند رهانید و فکر نمی نماید که آیادر دست راست من دروغ نیست. | ۲۰ |
21 Remember these things, Jacob [Supplanter] and Israel [God prevails]; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel [God prevails], you will not be forgotten by me.
| «ای یعقوب و‌ای اسرائیل اینها را بیادآورچونکه تو بنده من هستی. تو را سرشتم‌ای اسرائیل تو بنده من هستی از من فراموش نخواهی شد. | ۲۱ |
22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your rebellious breaches of relationships, and, as a cloud, your habitual sins ·missing the marks·. Teshuvah ·Completely return· to me, for I have redeemed you.
| تقصیرهای تو را مثل ابر غلیظ و گناهانت را مانند ابر محو ساختم. پس نزد من بازگشت نمازیرا تو را فدیه کرده‌ام. | ۲۲ |
23 Sing, you heavens, for Adonai has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth! Break out into singing, you mountains, O forest, all of your trees, for Adonai has redeemed Jacob [Supplanter], and will glorify himself in Israel [God prevails].
| ای آسمانها ترنم نمایید زیرا که خداوند این را کرده است! و‌ای اسفلهای زمین! فریاد برآورید و‌ای کوهها وجنگلها و هر درختی که در آنها باشد بسرایید! زیرا خداوند یعقوب را فدیه کرده است وخویشتن را در اسرائیل تمجید خواهد نمود.» | ۲۳ |
24 Adonai, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb says: “I am Adonai, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;
| خداوند که ولی تو است و تو را از رحم سرشته است چنین می‌گوید: من یهوه هستم وهمه‌چیز را ساختم. آسمانها را به تنهایی گسترانیدم و زمین را پهن کردم و با من که بود. | ۲۴ |
25 who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
| آنکه آیات کاذبان را باطل می‌سازد وجادوگران را احمق می‌گرداند. و حکیمان رابعقب برمی گرداند و علم ایشان را به جهالت تبدیل می‌کند. | ۲۵ |
26 who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem [City of peace], ‘She will be inhabited;’ and of the cities of Judah [Praised], ‘They will be built,’ and ‘I will raise up its waste places;’
| که سخنان بندگان خود را برقرار می‌دارد و مشورت رسولان خویش را به انجام می‌رساند، که درباره اورشلیم می‌گویدمعمور خواهد شد و درباره شهرهای یهودا که بناخواهد شد و خرابی های آن را برپا خواهم داشت. | ۲۶ |
27 who says to the deep, ‘Be dry,’ and ‘I will dry up your rivers;’
| آنکه به لجه می‌گوید که خشک شو ونهرهایت را خشک خواهم ساخت. | ۲۷ |
28 Who says of Cyrus [Sun], ‘He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,’ even saying of Jerusalem [City of peace], ‘She will be built;’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.’”
| و درباره کورش می‌گوید که او شبان من است و تمامی مسرت مرا به اتمام خواهد رسانید و درباره اورشلیم می‌گوید بنا خواهد شد و درباره هیکل که بنیاد تو نهاده خواهد گشت.» | ۲۸ |
