Isaiah 1
1 The vision of Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah [Praised] and Jerusalem [City of peace], in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah [Praised].
A visão de Isaías, filho de Amoz, que ele viu a respeito de Judá e Jerusalém, nos dias de Uzias, Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá.
2 Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, heavens, and listen, earth; for Adonai has spoken: “I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled to break away from authority thus breaking relationship against me.
Ouça, céus, e escute, terra; pois Yahweh falou: “Eu alimentei e criei crianças e eles se rebelaram contra mim.
3 The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel [God prevails] does not know, my people don’t consider.”
O boi conhece seu dono, e o burro, o berço de seu amo; mas Israel não sabe. Meu povo não considera”.
4 Ah sinful ·deviant (from the standard goal)· nation, a people loaded with depravity (moral evil), offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken Adonai. They have despised haKadosh Isra'el [the Holy One of God prevails]. They are estranged and backward.
Ah nação pecadora, um povo carregado de iniqüidade, descendência de malfeitores, crianças que lidam de forma corrupta! Eles abandonaram Yahweh. Eles desprezaram o Santo de Israel. Eles são estranhos e retrógrados.
5 Why should you be beaten more, that you revolt more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
Por que você deveria ser mais espancado? que você se revolta mais e mais? A cabeça inteira está doente, e todo o coração desmaia.
6 From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it: wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, neither bandaged, neither soothed with oil.
Desde a sola do pé até a cabeça não há nenhuma solidez nele, mas feridas, vergões e feridas abertas. Eles não foram fechados, enfaixados, nem acalmados com óleo.
7 Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

8 The daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.

9 Unless Adonai Tzva'ot [Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies] had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom [Burning]; we would have been like Gomorrah [Rebellious people, Tyrants].
Unless O Yahweh dos Exércitos deixou para nós um pequeno remanescente, teríamos sido como Sodoma. Nós teríamos sido como Gomorra.
10 Sh'ma ·Hear obey· Adonai’s word, you rulers of Sodom [Burning]! Listen to the Torah ·Teaching· of our God, you people of Gomorrah [Rebellious people, Tyrants]!
Ouçam a palavra de Yahweh, governantes de Sodoma! Escutem a lei de nosso Deus, povo de Gomorra!
11 “What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?,” says Adonai. “I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.
“Quais são a multidão de seus sacrifícios para mim?”, diz Yahweh. “Estou farto das ofertas queimadas de carneiros e a gordura dos animais alimentados. Eu não me deleito com o sangue de touros, ou de cordeiros, ou de caprinos machos.
12 When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?
Quando você vier para comparecer diante de mim, quem exigiu isto em suas mãos, para pisar em meus tribunais?
13 Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me; new moons, Shab'totay ·Intermissions·, and convocations: I can’t bear with vain striving of iniquity in assemblies.
Não traga mais ofertas vãs. O incenso é uma abominação para mim. Luas novas, sábados e convocações... Eu não suporto montagens malignas.
14 My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to me. I am weary of bearing them.
Minha alma odeia suas Luas Novas e suas festas designadas. Eles são um fardo para mim. Estou cansado de suportá-los.
15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not sh'ma ·hear obey·. Your hands are full of blood.
Quando você estender suas mãos, eu esconderei meus olhos de você. Sim, quando você faz muitas orações, eu não vou ouvir. Suas mãos estão cheias de sangue.
16 Wash yourselves, make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.
Lavem-se. Limpe-se. Afaste o mal de seus atos de diante dos meus olhos. Cessar de fazer o mal.
17 Learn to do well. Seek mishpat ·justice·. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the orphan. Plead for the widow.”
Aprenda a fazer bem. Buscar a justiça. Aliviar os oprimidos. Defender os órfãos de pai. Plead para a viúva”.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says Adonai: “Though your crimes deserving penalty, sins ·missing the goal· be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
“Venha agora, e vamos raciocinar juntos”, diz Yahweh: “Embora seus pecados sejam tão escarlate, eles serão tão brancos como a neve”. Embora sejam vermelhas como carmesim, devem ser como lã.
19 If you are willing and sh'ma ·hearing obedient·, you shall eat the good of the land;
Se você estiver disposto e obediente, você vai comer o bem da terra;
20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Adonai has spoken it.”
mas se você recusar e se rebelar, você será devorado com a espada; pois a boca de Yahweh o disse”.
21 How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of mishpat ·justice·; righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
Como a cidade fiel se tornou uma prostituta! Ela estava cheia de justiça. A justiça nela depositada, mas agora há assassinos.
22 Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.
Sua prata se tornou escória, seu vinho misturado com água.
23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone 'ahav ·affectionately loves· bribes, and follows after rewards. They don’t judge the orphan, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.
Seus príncipes são rebeldes e companheiros de ladrões. Todos adoram subornos e seguem atrás de recompensas. Eles não defendem os órfãos de pai, nem a causa da viúva vem até eles.
24 Therefore 'Adonay Adonai Tzva'ot [Lord, Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies], the Mighty One of Israel [God prevails], says: “Ah, I will get relief from my adversaries, and avenge myself on my enemies;
Portanto, o Senhor, Yahweh dos Exércitos, o Poderoso de Israel, diz: “Ah, eu terei alívio de meus adversários”, e me vingar de meus inimigos.
25 and I will turn my hand on you, thoroughly purge away your dross, and will take away all your tin.
Vou virar minha mão para você, purgar completamente sua escória, e lhe tirará toda a lata.
26 I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called ‘The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’
Vou restaurar seus juízes como no início, e seus conselheiros, como no início. Em seguida, você será chamada de “A cidade da retidão”, uma cidade fiel'.
27 Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] shall be redeemed with mishpat ·justice·, and her converts with righteousness.
Zion será redimida com justiça, e seus convertidos com retidão.
28 But the destruction of the rebellious who break away from authority thus breaking relationship and people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· shall be together, and those who forsake Adonai shall be consumed.
Mas a destruição de transgressores e pecadores deve ser feita em conjunto, e aqueles que abandonarem Yahweh serão consumidos.
29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which you have desired, and you shall be confounded for the gardens that you have chosen.
Pois eles terão vergonha dos carvalhos que desejaram, e você ficará confuso com os jardins que escolheu.
30 For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.
Para você será como um carvalho cuja folha desbota, e como um jardim que não tem água.
31 The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”
O forte será como o tinder, e seu trabalho como uma faísca. Ambos irão queimar juntos, e ninguém os saciará”.
